The the buildings and paved parts? Yeah, though as you moved from less ceremonial/administrative/upper class areas to normal residential land/farmland more towards the outer part of the city not all of the ground would be paved.
Pic related shows a part Tlatelolco, for example which was originally a splinter city from the Aztec captial of Tenochtitlan but the two cities eventually grew into one another (the islands the cities were on were expanded with the sort of smaller, grid plots of land staked into the lake with canals between them), and Tenochtitlan conquered Tlatelolco in a counterattack after they ambushed Tlatelolco's attempted invasion, and Tlatelolco subsequently sort of became a sort of 5th city quadrant.
The only inaccurate thing in this painting would be that some of the smaller buildings would probably have straw rahter then flat adobe/stone roofs, and in general might not be as fancy, though some of them stilll would have and all of the actual temples and large buildings would have still been as shown, more or less

2013-14 was actually the worst period, if anything things got better since then.
It's not even about the mods, the biggest sign of how bad those years were for me is the fact that in the 2014 world cup collage there is an image from 2010. The slip from Gerrard, in 2014 as well, was the first sign of a waking up for the board, luckily.
The real issue is that the community is even more fragmented than ever, even when there were generals for everything. Now there is no /epl/ general, but we also lost things like the 606 threads and the match of the day threads are desert towns.
I feel like a lot of core posters got "old" with me, and everything is tiring now. /pol/ doesn't help, their racial bullshit, while not nearly as bad as it is under the olympics, is still damn boring to read and /int/ is just as bad.

I still read them every year, I usually can't participate during them so at most I'll post a single thing saying Happy New Years, nerds, or so in the threads I find. Sucks, I've been studying up always too for when I ever got the chance. Shouganai.
Was busy, sorry. Okay, sure. Well, in regards to what I meant when I said tastes see above. Since I took long to respond, I'll just say what my tastes in certain actual things are, would have been more fun if we could have had a conversation. I like a variety of stuff but it's all pretty much vanilla. What I like most of all is good quality art, that's not a fetish is it? Basically though, I love cute things. One thing I find cute for example is oppai though it doesn't mean I only live for that. Really common stuff but when you mix in the above with like mindedness and how different the board is nowadays, it's incredibly difficult to connect especially since many people don't even know the characters in images they post for example. It seemed much easier to make friends, especially liked minded ones, in years past.
