i am learning how to kill myself, how to brave to take my own life, which method is the easist painless quickest sufferless ?

"Learning " is one way to put it, sure

Helium.

I stop after 2 year. Still need to work on my English.

too poor, too much hassle and too much suspicion

I probably should start now. I made a Japanese friend in a JP MMO I'm playing and even though they're very nice and patient, they'll probably get tired of me having to stop and look up/google translate everything just to hold a conversation. I already know hiragana and katakana and some basic stuff so maybe this is the push I need to start learning and finally defeat dekinai-chan.

no, most of the japanese I would ever need to know if I visited japan I already know from animu and mango

You can't learn japanese

After learning french and english, japanese has been pretty easy so far, thou counters are kinda difficult.

Yes, I've been studying every day for about eight years.
I can watch anime, movies and play games easily enough without subtitles and NHK news isn't so difficult either, but literature is still a bit challenging.

Yes, I am completely fluent since I've been studying hard since I was a teenager

a-april fools (°□°)︵ ━

I'm learning German. One language at a time; once I'll be done I'll (probably) pick Japanese back up.

I can translate Latin and am fluent in French and English, but haven't started studying Japanese yet. I should start. It's just been so long since I studied another language, I always report it to the next day.

I've been watching subbed anime for over 11 years now. I've reached a point where I can watch raws and understand 85-100% of the dialogue (depending on the show).

Why not just use flashcards?

Where did yiu get those lessons?

Dio ti maledica che te do uno schiafon che te impituro su quel muro, to mare puttana, che te copo Dio can

I've never used flashcards, i don't really like them that much i prefer lists of words
Udemy online japanese course, pretty cheap and useful but the teacher is a robot.

For years now. Moved to Japan too. Never I've used any of the DJT methods.

日本語を学んで います

I spent a solid 3 years learning japanese, only to move there and realize I hate the country and the ant people that inhabit it.

It left me with such a bitter taste in my mouth that I pretty much hate anything that comes from there now.

Don't waste your time, spend the hours learning something worthwhile, japanese is useless outside of your weeb cartoons.

>once I'll be done
HAHAHAHA, nice one

Good job that anime, VN and manga is all I want to learn it for.

That is a more realistic goal. I usually aim to be able to read without much trouble until I try to pick the next one. You will never feel that you are actually done

Of course, knowing where to aim for is important!

Attached: 1455955324820.gif (195x269, 99K)

Helium is the /r9k/ approved standard. But if that really is out of reach, you can look up several prospective methods like hanging, jumping, cutting, gunshot. Go to lostallhope for details.

I bought Genki and one other book and my studying actually decreased after that.
So doing great.

I hate Japan, never plan to go there, but I still learned the language because I love weeb shit.
It's worth learning it if you know how to keep your exceptations in check.
Also all those weeb that picture Japan as some dream land make me seek.

Attached: Capture.png (1026x608, 1.26M)

What didn't you like about Japan?

I can read well but I can't form my thoughts into words

Attached: IMG_20161104_094452.jpg (384x384, 42K)

The trick is to think in the foreign language

Attached: image4156.png (1170x424, 121K)

The people, culture and work environment mainly. Keep in mind that I love japan as a tourist and still visit, living there is an entirely different problem though.

I could write an essay on why I hate it but I believe most of the reasons why are probably well known to most people here already.

Money could solve most of the problems I guess, but there are still significant problems that make me run a mile that can't be solved by being rich.

>I could write an essay on why I hate it but I believe most of the reasons why are probably well known to most people here already.
Yeah I guess I can picture it. I won't ask you to write that essay if you don't feel like it but I still love hearing the opinion of different people who lived there, too bad.
I'm glad you can still enjoy the country in spite of that, user. Cheers.

難しい言葉だと思うけど、僕は毎日がんばりますですよ

Wouldn't it be more correct to say 頑張ってますよ?

Is duolingo a good place to start to learn?

Do you guys do anything to practice talking to real Japanese people?

Nope, start with Genki, how many times do we need to say it?
No application is gonna make you learn a language, unless it's an easy one like english.

Reminder

Attached: images.jpg (275x183, 10K)

It is if you want to pretend to learn japanese, it is not if you want to learn the language.

Many helium tanks nowadays have argon or oxygen. Those won't kill you and will let you as a vegetable. Just go and jump in front of a train.

I can't talk about games on Yea Forums and everywhere else in English is cancer so its my only option.

Ok, thank you. I'll try with books then.

Only someone who watches normalfag garbage would hold this opinion.

theres plenty of untranslated eroge.

>implying that subs are trustworthy
There are some obscure mangas that are untranslated. For my part I'm learning because of videogames.

joke's on you I don't watch anime

What words in Japanese have you learned from watching your Chinese cartoons?

I don't know if this is the proper spelling but whatever.

Dostedt - What
Nani - Why
Sugoi - Awesome
Kawaii - Cute
Ohaio Gozaimas - Thank you

>Watching Akagi
>50 year old Yakuza underling says "sugoi"
>Immediately imagine him as a moe girl

sasuga gabu poster

30 years of watching anime and reading manga, and I can understand some conversations in japanese, sometimes I go for a snack and can follow the conversation by just hearing the video, BUT, 30 years later and I still can't understand a single kanji, NOT EVEN ONE, seriously, every kanji looks the same and different at the same time for me, so no, I won't bother with japanese anytime soon unless the japanese finally decide to use human letters to write.

>一二三
yeah, basically indistinguishable

The katakana kills me.

Attached: Depaaato.jpg (727x557, 265K)

I can't bro, I can't, maybe something wrong with my brain since I was born

This is because you watch simplistic anime that is ultimately just filled with stock phrases, it's very easy to stay on top of it even with no education, you've heard the exact same shit hundreds of times.

You don't actually know a lot of Japanese, maybe 1 to 2 thousand words at best.

I learned like maybe 10 or so just from playing JP games but its not like I can read or use them properly or anything. But then again I can just type おねがいします and press space and it puts the right kanji in for me anyway.

Moshimoshi, FBI desu.

Started last year. It's going pretty well, wish I had started earlier.

why do you need text in your porn

the principle reason I prefer 2d porn over 3d is the romance.

I had a 52 day streak going on Duolingo but it all fell apart when I started doing overtime at work.

Some people have good taste.

Fuck off I fucking love light novels.

>50 hours of reading
>20 minutes of sex scenes
the actual porn is rarely very important

Yes but I hate VNs and LNs. Life is suffering.

I've picked up a lot of the vocabulary from decades of anime, to the point where I can mostly understand raws even, but fuck my if I'm supposed to learn katakana, hiragana, and kanji.

Where do you even start on something like that?

Attached: 1459890094014.png (543x823, 304K)

Gonna go for N1 this year, if that's worth anything.

At the beginning

Attached: kanj.png (2537x905, 272K)

How long have you been studying?

>ああ
>not 嗚呼
get a load of this dekinai

Two, three years, I guess? Mostly just ramming my head into anki and playing moon vidya.

>katakana, hiragana
Unless you're a literal braindead retard, kana should take you like a week at most and you can even learn it from wikipedia.
>kanji
/DJT/ exists for a reason

Attached: 1479397176250.jpg (308x445, 46K)

>not reading yaoi VNs for plot

>katakana, hiragana
That's piss easy. I never even really studied them, I ended up memorizing them just from consuming various JP media. They are nothing.

Working on it. I was planning to read 1 light novel per month this year, but I've only read a few pages in the last 2 months. At least I'm keeping up on my flashcards.

Attached: Kanji.png (483x1638, 117K)

Any good stuff you've been reading?

Trying for n2 this year, not sure I'm gonna make it.

Did you try N3 first? If so, how did it go?

I need to practice. I found it really easy as far as grammar goes, but I keep forgetting a lot of the vocabulary

Attached: 1451243531869.jpg (175x167, 6K)

Play a JP MMO.

anime OD

>Play Unteralterbach
>"When are they going to fuck the children?!"
>Stop playing after getting insta-killed and not saving earlier
To be fair, it's pretty good.

I read the first 3 volumes of Zero no Tsukaima and liked it. Then I decided to try Kino no Tabi, but I really don't like it. I've been stuck on chapter 2 for 2 months. If I ever finish this chapter, I'm going to drop it and try something else. Kind of sad because I've wanted to read Kino for over a decade.

I only like to read one thing at a time, and I don't like dropping things. So if I start something and don't like it, it leads to months of doing nothing and wasting time. It is a really stupid problem that I need to fix someday.

Attached: Sakurako.png (816x638, 585K)

Anything that isn't extremely mainstream is at risk of being dropped at any moment. Then you have shitters who translate 3 chapters to get you hooked before they move on or simply translate at abysmal speeds.

I can barely bring myself to learn to draw which is my only passion, you expect me to learn a whole language?
10 days spent laying in bed saying 'I'll teach myself tomorrow' fuck you for reminding me OP.

For some reason the stuff I dig are rarely ever popular, so I'd never get to read them if I don't go for it myself.
