I may have denied myself watching anime until I found a job, and I may have taken a year to get settled in after finding one, but I have decided against all reason that it's your fault I didn't watch it until now. Why did you tell me this was bad? Sure, it's shit compared to the manga: They applied a moe filter to everything even if it detracted from their character, rushed the dragon fight, didn't do justice in showing how batshit insane Lelei is, didn't do rabbit sex justice, skipped bird prostitute sexiness, among other things. But it was still enjoyable and worth 10 hours of my life.
PS. Where the fuck do I read manga now that Batoto is dead? Should I just follow baka to the group's pages and download chapters?
It's pretty good in my opinion, though I haven't read the manga or the novels

If you enjoyed the anime I'd recommend giving the manga a read through. There are a lot of nuanced character interactions that weren't able to make it into the anime.
I'll dump some of the dragon fight. The anime deviated pretty hard once they got to the dark elf canyon because they ran out of time/budget/whatever.
A genius with at least one rather significant misunderstanding. She knows enough about sex and has watched a video of it with the others, but still thinks just sleeping in the same room as Itami was enough to make her married to him. And for some reason Itami thought of Yao instead if Lelei when they were asking what the condoms were, so he won't be helping her correct that misunderstanding, although the others should.

It's that pureness that makes her a child in Itami's eyes. He treated Rory in a similar manner for a little while until she lewded him into a different mindset.

And still resists her requests for sex long after he should be saying yes. Getting Lelei the education she needs might require some help from Rory and Tuka. I don't know or care if it was in the original novels, but I want to see the manga include a chapter with mixed bathing with just Itami and his harem. A single image with everyone else too doesn't have the interactions that would be great to see, and Lelei was the one mentioned they used to be common. Plus it would let Itami get a good example of Lelei's body to imagine in the future.

There's also another secret club but it closed registrations when Batoto went down and probably wont open back up, so you're fucked on that front. Other than that, yeah, just follow Baka to the group pages. They scrubbed most of the links to group websites a while back, but there's a userscript to restore them.
