All right Yea Forums, you're in for it now. Do you see that difference in File Modified dates? That's almost four years. I may have denied myself watching anime until I found a job, and I may have taken a year to get settled in after finding one, but I have decided against all reason that it's your fault I didn't watch it until now. Why did you tell me this was bad? Sure, it's shit compared to the manga: They applied a moe filter to everything even if it detracted from their character, rushed the dragon fight, didn't do justice in showing how batshit insane Lelei is, didn't do rabbit sex justice, skipped bird prostitute sexiness, among other things. But it was still enjoyable and worth 10 hours of my life.
PS. Where the fuck do I read manga now that Batoto is dead? Should I just follow baka to the group's pages and download chapters?
It's pretty good in my opinion, though I haven't read the manga or the novels

If you enjoyed the anime I'd recommend giving the manga a read through. There are a lot of nuanced character interactions that weren't able to make it into the anime.
I'll dump some of the dragon fight. The anime deviated pretty hard once they got to the dark elf canyon because they ran out of time/budget/whatever.
