Again, the problem is not even the JC Staff team, they could had made a good work if they wanted, the problem with S2 is due to something called "Production Hell" where nobody have the time or the desire to do it, is like some big bad guy making you do his homework, obviously you would be displeased with that, JC Staff didn't choose to do OPM, someone forced them and whoever they are don't give a shit since OPM will sell even if it end up looking like Kemono Friends, this being said, OPM S2 will look "ok enough", which is all they need.

So who would be the other options? Bones is busy with Mob and BnHA. One Punch Man doesn't fit the style for SHAFT and Kyoto. And I doubt anyone wants to give the rights to a big studio like Pierrot or Toei; they'd never see the rights return.

So JC staff walks along, grabs half a dozen shit animators, a nobody director, and promises to slap together the whole season by monday. Someone makes a quick buck and the rest of us suffer.
