Now that you've mentioned it I don't know any good examples IRL close enough to use as an argument. That's just something I've read anyway: for a male literally a glance is all that's needed for nature/nurture patterns to click in his head and instantaneously engage "alright this is the one" protocols. For females it's a bit lengthy process of being persuaded that it's worth staking out that particular male: it can be either observing him in his natural habitat, like him doing a hobby or work, or being persuaded by that male that he's very interested in lasting relationship.
Does that qualify as an explanation of my point?
