>The Ganja party is lost across the line between life and death inside the abyss. While everyone keeps falling, one after the other, one of the three sages, Belafu, is starting to change...
1) people ate irumyuui's babies since they die in one day and their meat cures the turn-into-stone disease 2) irumyuui getting bigger 3) wazukyan forces irumyuui to become village with magic egg 4) wazukyan traps veko in irumyuui's head since she didn't like that 5) black goopy guys are actually souls of dead babies 6) irumyuui eventually uses another magic egg to give birth to child that doesn't die in one day (faputa) 7) faputa vows to free mother and kill village people 8) meanwhile village people are stuck in irumyuui
Carter Campbell

idk dude. im still here looking at plot developments but this shit is like, vile. it could have been so much better but i have to keep seeing children shit on themselves. reg got the pee sucked out of his dick. im just not feelin it

bondrewd's experiments were questionable because there's no telling what the results would lead to, it was pretty much science for the sake of science without concrete proof that it would help anyone one day, just the belief that it would.
Wazu's actions had immediate and tangible benefits for everyone in the fact that they did not die, I'd also like to remind you that these are ANIMALS not human babies.
Why everyone in the Village forgot about its origin except Wazu, Veko and may be Belafu?
Aiden Turner
No that doesn't make any sense. Since the mother was a human that means that the babies are human as well just not in a humanoid form but nonetheless they most likely will still have a human like DNA structure and makeup.
Daniel Brooks
They may look like animals but they were born from a human and probably have human dna
Owen Mitchell
Well damn, what now.
Jayden Cook
My wife Veroeruko is so cute.
Isaiah Young
Lads i'm so angry But i'm also torn. The pioneer residents deserve all the gas they can get, but the subsequent newcomers don't know anything about this, it would be sad if they all died when Faputa and Reg just decided to nuke the entire village
It has been TWO thousand years since the event. How many of the originals ganjas have survived long enough and how many new residents came to the village, have you thought about that?
Brody Howard
Man what a fucked up and sad chapter, gotta feel bad for everyone all around especially for Belafu and Irumyui. Wonder if Faputa is gonna spare Vueko or not too.
Chase Peterson
Best girl!
Alexander Rodriguez
I want to protect that smelly smile
Jaxson Anderson
The violated the NAP. They have it coming
Aaron Turner
Wazu was literally a religious fanatic who used a magic egg, and had no clue whether the egg would even work when he used it.
He was going off blind faith/hope.
>I'd also like to remind you that these are ANIMALS not human babies. Irumyuui was a human, and even had some sentience up until she went full-village.
It's unclear how much sentience the animals had. They could be Mitty-tier, being trapped in an inhuman body.
Carter Green
She will die along with the village
Ethan Ross
>It has been TWO thousand years since the event. Why is faputa so shit at destroying the village
Anthony Harris
Also who's to say that each time they're reincarnated they don't lose more of their human thoughts. As it's been show a lot of the narehate (not all) are reflections of their base desires and have lost much of what made them human.
Luis Nelson
How the hell did Riko enter the village without getting narehate'd?
Veko even says in that >The way the village is made...once you pass through the membrane you can't come back...
Nathan Ramirez
I wonder why Reg didn't destory it early, it's a matter of minutes with his powers.
Christian Butler
>The way the village is made...once you pass through the membrane you can't come back... >Though they never stopped trying to look for a way... >...! Don’t speedread the translations user
Jayden Green
Too busy fucking underage robots.
No, really. And what do you expect her to do without nuke tier weapons?
Cooper Long
it helps noone to be reductive
Caleb Gomez
He was out of power likely. He needed to reach the surface and shooting his incinerator would make him power off
Brandon Lee
>applying normal science to this need I remind you that her wish to have her beloved pet back ended up combining in the worst possible way with her wish to have children. DNA relation is irrelevant when this is clearly an entirely different form of reproduction than human sexual reproduction, also if her DNA hadn't changed but her body is this warped, it would pretty much die immediately, and her immune system would be treating her entire form as a foreign organism and attack it everywhere at once, likely killing her.
Ryan Perry
Steaming. Hot. Underage. Robot. Mutant Moth. Sex.
Easy concept to grasp, user.
William Sanchez
Maybe it's from the egg and Riko being a zombie - it could be possible the effect cancels out Irumyui narehate'ing her. Maybe her soul is at the bottom of the abyss too so there'd be no soul to steal.
Dylan Mitchell
Maybe the village doesn't recognize zombies
Christopher Rogers
a-anyone got that image with flashback scene of reg manhandling the moth?
>ywn sniff lobotonachi's belly, armpits, hair, and nose with impunity, not even eliciting a glare from the mindless rabbit >ywn cuddle lobotonachi like a warm fluffy stuffed doll, resting your head against her chest and letting her steady breathing and heartbeat lull you to sleep >ywn wake up the next morning and find a wet spot on your bed where lobotonachi's head tipped over and caused her drool to leak out all night >ywn play with her bunny cunny until she cums, her body shaking while she empties her bladder into the catheter, her eyes widen a bit at the ceiling, and she lets out a quiet, emotionless naa >ywn stretch her buncun out slowly with your fingers so it doesn't rip when you finally put it in, and rub your dick on her soft fluff until you glaze it in the meantime >ywn give lobotonachi a gastrostomy through the side of her abdomen so that her tummy is kept smooth and her mouth is free of annoying feeding tubes >ywn explore lobotonachi's mouth with your tongue, feeling her pliable lips part against yours, using your thumb and forefinger to open her slack jaw wider so you can taste even deeper and slurp up the little deposits of delicious blessed saliva that had collected under her tongue and the back of her cheeks >ywn just stuff her under your shirt and just enjoy feeling her warm fluff on your skin and hot rhythmic breath against your neck for as long as you want her there >ywn bathe with stinky fur matted in drool/cum/sweat lobotonachi in your lap and go through the surprisingly laborious process of hand washing her uncooperative body, struggling to clean around limbs that refuse to stay up while still having to make sure her face stays above water and her body stays propped up correctly >ywn hang lobotonachi up to dry by the wrists so her coat is evenly fluffy and good-smelling by the end of it
How much value do I need to trade to the village for this? Should be a lot cheaper to make a bun clone without the soul than with...
i never really got the apprehension everyone has with blowjobs when it comes to characters with scary teeth. Do people not realize just normal human teeth can destroy your dick within seconds? If you trust someone enough to stick it in their mouth and have that not happen, it's no different with the moth.
Joshua Clark
It's time to commit Can Wazu genuinely see some kind of future and predict causality, or is he a false prophet? If it's the real deal, then is this something that a human of the MiA world can do? Or was it always somehow related to the Abyss?
Connor Davis
I kind of hope there's some sort of happy ending to be had to this old tale. Belafu is a good dude, but it seems like he's too far gone. Wazu's morality is certainly up for debate, but he did what needed to be done for the good of the group. Veko is a pure maiden and her husband is lucky to have her. I kind of don't want to see the village end at all, it's quite unique and acts as a safe haven for delvers who make it that far.
kys my dude, it's like you forgot habo and jirou exists
Jaxson Gray
>habo >child predator >jirou >ozen's new fucktoy
Jaxson Wilson
>every male character, who isn't spineless milquetoast guy, is worse than Hitler tier Who are Nat, Siggy, Habolg, Maaa-san.
Josiah Watson
>Faputa is baby crazy >Belafu didn't learn from his mistakes
Great chapter
Luke Martinez
I WANT TO FUCK VEKO!
Lucas Jones
>Belafu didn't learn from his mistakes ?
Belafu just went insane from betraying his own convictions. He was all about nobility of human spirit, now he just goes about slurping ice cold mitties all day everyday.
Colton Fisher
If you sperg out and start confessing your love I am sure she will at least stroke your hair consolingly before reminding you that I am her one and only husband.
Pretty much, it was a hopeless situation where it was either do something really fucked up to live or die horribly along with everyone they were leading. If you're in the abyss there's nothing you can do but suffer and hope it's painless as possible while trying not to break your own morals.
Nathaniel Martin
Missed the LT but thanks OP.
Samuel Martin
i cant find the source/artist of this image someone help
First panel reminds me of Pushka when she is retard form.
Dominic James
He's just a fetish guy and villains or bad guys are usually some kind of perverted mirror of the writer's fetishes but I feel like Tsukushi handles them well and every MIA character is fetish fuel or triggers fetish related stuff to happen with others anyway. That said, I love Bondrewd as a villain and I like Waku in general, as a character I mean.
If you want to see actual issues read SAO and other harem and isekai stories. Every fucking male that isn't the MC always dies or turns out ot be some rapist villain in these series.
Jack Clark
Just because you can only remember two male characters doesn't mean that the other ten were anything close to what you just described.
Jace Wright
>"Can't you see the memes are killing him" >"It's foretold in the prophecy that the memes shall be great."
>villains or bad guys are usually some kind of perverted mirror of the writer's fetishes
Evan Russell
That's why I hate Twitter as the new source for fanart. I understand the reasons for moving but it's impossible to actively search artists on there. You can only scroll through the timelines of animefags until you find a cool fanart and follow the one who posted it and hope he's following other artists.
Luis Martinez
This might be a good time to stay off /pol/ for a while. Take breaks user you don't want to end up schizoposting
The old flash reader gave us jpegs, the new one gives us this. If you want to unscramble it, you have to save it again and adding another layer of jpeg compression degrades quality.
Wait im confused, how did the second egg grant her the hability to reform people? What was her wish? And how is this related to the whole value thing?
Colton Collins
How are you even able to post, Faputa? You just tore your typing hand off.
Brandon Watson
Oh shit, so some of you guys were saying Riko might not have turned narehate because she's a zombie right? What if it's because she's a human child just like Iruumyui was? Human children are seen as extremely valuable in the village and maybe that's why.
I wonder how many anons will die before s2 comes out?
Grayson Foster
Hope all of us.
Aaron Martin
>*loli diarrhoea noises*
Matthew Rodriguez
I don't even know how they'd even adapt this chapter, the censors would have a field day
Juan Turner
You just copy what the browser does, it’s pretty easy, nothing is obfuscated and none of EBJ’s emscripten crap either. Same reader as comic meteor by the way.
it's not just the content which is awful yeah but the designs of the environment and the characters are so dissonant and complex, it would be insane. They'd have to pretty much cg half the characters, including kajya
Hudson Davis
maybe because riko didn't want anything but to go to the bottom, and the village can't give her that.
Jordan Jones
Hopefully one of the two whistles still supposed to be in the 6th layer will show up soon
Cameron Sanchez
Cant wait to see what kind of badass lives in such an environment, if we do ever see. Love to see Lyza in combat, too. Lord of cinder battle is what I imagine at the bottom of the abyss. Hollow Lyza.
Jaxon Ward
Yeah, the world is just insanely detailed now that you mention that too. I don't know how they'd replicate that either, his illustrations really take a life of their own.
wazu? I think he is starting to be shook by all the insane shit finally but he is unassailable at this point, there's nothing left to do but follow through and he will no matter what.
Daniel Rivera
the face of a man who did what what necessary
Jaxson Long
what's the curse anyway? You guys think you're so smart, you must know.
So did full memory Reg manage to ease some of Faputa's anger, rage, pain and loneliness before he kept going up? He's a good boy!! Dumb delvers going out of their way to destroy precious interference units.
Cameron Robinson
Completely missed that she was actually moving in the raw thread.
Christian Williams
He had to choices between >sit still and waiting to rot and die >Do some real shit he well knows one day will pay the bill for to save everyone
Jose Russell
I agree. This arc is pretty much like Lost Children in Berserk: simply too fucked up for tv unless you remove everything that made it good and memorable in the first place
Joseph Reyes
It's hard to masturbate to a whistle unless you're that one whistle-crafter narehate, user
does Belafu have eyes in this image? He traded those for the mitty clone, right?
Lincoln Richardson
The bottom of the Abyss is literal hell.
The curse is the pull of those souls in hell, trying to drag more souls down with them. Like crabs in a bucket.
Jayden Wood
more like everything up to Nanachi was 'kind-hearted, innocent character in a fucked up setting learning to come to terms with it but also bettering lives around her' and everything past that has you questioning why Riko is still alive because everything's so bleak that she just feels out of place like she should just die in a ditch soon Any kind of happy ending would feel undeserved, hell any kind of ending at all would Even going deeper than this layer already feels it'd be due to a plot contrivance
Jose Cooper
Irumuyuui just wanted a child after all, so her baby-making wish probably got transferred to Faputa.
Cameron Watson
>Irumyuu became a smaller version of the abyss
Carson White
>alien colony ship that crashed and killed everyone onboard >but the ship still somewhat functions >radiation from some incomprehensibly advanced reactor taking the form of the curse because it is cracked and leaking constantly >every 1000 years initiates an automatic exhaust cycle to keep everything running smoothly, did this thousands of times already floating through space with its frozen living cargo but on a planet's surface it's really apocalyptic
makes sense but tsukushi isn't really a sci fi writer
Justin Long
ah, meant 2000 years, the manga move so freaking slow it's easy to forget specifics like that.
Luis Collins
Is there any character that can defeat Bondrewd the Novel? And I'm not talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel. Hell, I'm not even talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel in the body of a Praying Hand visiting the Garden of the flowers of Resilience. I'm NOT talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel equipped with the Curse Needle, an artifact capable of inflicting the Curse of the Abyss on those who touch it. I couldn't be talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel using his shared perception with Nanachi after parting with a fragment of his soul to spy on her and discover more about the Sixth Layer. I'm definitely not talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel charging up his Ascending to the Morning Star, a one-of-a-kind unknown grade Relic that shoots a powerful beam of light towards a target from The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel’s face mask. I'm really not talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel commanding a group of Praying Hands who have been taken over by his consciousness and follow his bidding to produce Cartidges when needed. Do you think I'm talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel who is willing to sacrifice everything for the Rumbling of Scientific Triumph, even in the wake of whatever moral issues may occur from his actions? You better be joking if you think I'm talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel armed with Sparagmos, the Origin-Guiding Light that generates a lightsaber and makes Reg’s Incinerator look completely second-rate. I'm talking about The Lord of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel in contact with the Zoaholic, allowing him to completely negate the Curse of the Abyss by inflicting it instead onto the children he has packed into Cartridges, who he keeps alive by storing only their vital organs and using a cocktail of drugs to induce a state of terror and ecstasy.
>Too cruel for the guy who looks up reaction videos of people crying in horror or grief at the anime or manga while giggling Based Tsukushi hasn't gone far enough
No no no, it's a toilet, definitely a toilet. Riko either is or talks about using the toilet before some major plot points throughout the story.
1.Before she finds Reg 2.Reg says she's going to the bathroom when Leader finds them before they head down 3.She sees the zombie Ozen made when going to the bathroom at the seeker camp 4.She almost goes to the toilet before shit hits the fan at Idofront 5.She uses the narehate toilet before shit hits the fan in Irumui
This has all been one agonizing trip to the potty in the middle of a dark and terrible night.
He probably added accessories later. Interesting how unlike Belafu who changed under stress, Wazukyan stayed the same after centuries. Yay, bloodsport festives! Everyone loves some good gore!
Mason Garcia
He is not bad. He saved the expedition by giving it lesser evil destiny, sacrificing one kid from the team. Granted he had desire to fulfill his own prophecy by his own hands with some sacrificing.
Nicholas Hernandez
>Faputa took the third egg >She wishes to destroy the village >Reg has a “Cremation Cannon” that can kill anything, even immortals Could Reg be the result of Faputa’s wish with the 3rd egg?
Jacob Davis
They have to destroy the village. That's the only way they can leave it.
Luke Hernandez
lyza protected him like her son riko on the other hand...
why do people call it cradle of greed if the kanji is Lust(欲望) and not greed(強欲)?
David Johnson
Never, Belafu was made for suffering
James Bell
Because she's a child and village loves children
Adam Young
The worst part is he’s gonna get faputa’s arm. He’s basically doing the same thing he hated again
Oliver Martin
I know most people here only learn/use their Jap for eroge, but 欲望 is a generic verb for desiring something. You 欲望 food just as much you might 欲望 sex or something shiny.
Dominic Stewart
Probably, but would that matter? Does Riko really understand all the implications of the story she's been told? It's really just an infodump for the reader because the relevant information she can take are like two or three and all of the suffering and horror really don't affect her
Then Cradle of Desire fits better than Cradle of Greed.
Michael Sanders
Yeah, It's gonna be really painful seeing him get it. It was tough seeing him completely break down about Irumyui and it's only gonna get worse with her arm.
Chase Ross
Fuck off retard.
Robert Ortiz
no fucking escape
Alexander Martin
It does.
Cradle of Lust wouldn't fit at all though.
Landon Taylor
sounds like some speakeasy kiddie stripclub.
Christian Anderson
>11 chapters already I wonder how this will end
Ethan Sanchez
>>Um... / Veko, can I ask you a question...? Mistranslation here.
Daniel Miller
Because Lust has a different context in western audiences, who equate it with sex and ignore the other examples of lust, such as bloodlust, lust for power/knowledge, etc.
Also, it's likly because of the bodypart exchange functions and everybody talking about "value" - as in material things - cementing the change into the "Cradle of Greed": What they all want is actually more valuable then gold, and that's why everything that is happeneing is so horrifying.
Leo Collins
Riko will command Reg to kill Wazu. Both moth and Veko will die. Majikayja will become the new village leader
Jackson Jones
>Majikayja will become the new village leader >not maa-kun
Luis Hill
Such a lust for revenge...
Adrian Hill
>lyza protected him like her son so she raped him and had a kid with him?
Henry Gomez
>Riko will command Reg to kill Wazu Why? She wasn't even bothered with Bondrewd and Wazu is harmless to her group so far.
Carson Ward
God imagine Veko’s face when Reg walks back in holding Faputa’s arm
Liam Perry
why did she give him her arm again? What did she need to buy back, mitty?
Austin Edwards
Reg needed value to buy Nanachi and mitty2.0. Faputa ripped her arm off because her revenge boner is too strong
Henry Cruz
Isn't Irumyuui still alive though? I thought the end goal of Faputa was to "release" her mother, you can't have that with all those narehate living inside her.
Carson Hall
Death is a form of release
Hunter Sanders
If we're going by the mitty logic, her soul is still trapped inside the city together with her flesh.
Would anyone honestly care if the village got completely destroyed with everyone in it? I only sort of care for Maaa-kun anyway. It was fancy but everything but it was cool because of the ancap shit, there'd be no use for a "reformed" village.
Christopher Adams
>literally the only expression she's had outside the flashback wow bravo tsukushi
Lucas Cox
this chapter sort of made me care about Belafu too
Jacob Robinson
Riko needs to buy back Nanachi, who sold herself to Belafu to buy cloned Mitty.
Reg relayed to Faputa what Wazukyan said, i.e. that a part of Faputa could buy back Nanachi. Faputa immediately says she'd do it, provided Reg fulfills his promise.
Instead of asking for a part of her, Reg asked Faputa for any info that would help Riko, and volunteered to fulfill his promise he made with Faputa in return (a promise he doesn't remember).
Faputa ripped off her arm and part of her head before he could get her to stop, saying she'd do anything for Reg to fulfill the promise.
Jackson Watson
Riko survives because she has an immortal, super powerful little boy that will do anything to keep her alive.
but it doesn't matter because of the kids' trio, Reg is hardly a character. One would be hard-pressed to actually put down a description for him that wouldn't rely on opposition to the other two Memory loss is the worst meme in Japanese material
Lucas Robinson
I'd wipe three villages
Gavin Flores
Will Faputa become fat and gross like her mom after you impregnate her?
Jacob Rodriguez
God no, please don't Tsukushi I couldn't handle it
That’s not the case at all, despite the memory loss he has an apparent character, we just don’t know what his “real” or “original” character might have been.
His "character" is feeling strongly against injustice and barely anything more since he mostly just reacts to stuff He's a walking weapon for the plot to use with no character motivation aside from 'helping Riko good', he basically forgot about finding his past himself
Nathaniel Martinez
First egg: "I want to be a mother." Second egg: "I want to protect everyone." Third egg: "I changed my mind. Fuck everything."
Just because he isn’t the driving force behind the story like Riko doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his own character or motivations.
Aiden Wright
And what would that be? Character writing has never been Tsukushi's strength and most of them fall apart when you think about it for more than 5 seconds. The sooner you realize this the better.
Joseph Ortiz
His character is pretty basic and isn't so different from your standard anime protag №165756. Even Tsukushi in interview said that Reg is more or less reader insert, hence his lack of personality and sorta wishfulfillment role in the story (single male MC is ocean of pretty lolis, who craving for his dick, OP powers, immune to the main gimmick of the story).
Charles Smith
>Belafu told Riko it would cost her two parts (or half her innards) >Reg probably told Faputa that it's going to cost two parts >Faputa innocently believes that Riko is worth as much as she is so she immediately offers up two parts She's such a good girl even when she wants to kill everyone. >Kajya has enough to buy that much in pocket change
Austin Mitchell
Hes certainly no perfect character author but at worst they are “manga standard”.
Angel Lee
The most annoying part is you can't pull from the canvas because it's tainted, so you actually have to just run the code. Though honestly I redrew the canvas at absolute full size and just print screened it.
Christopher Martin
the third egg is faputa, yes?
Colton Howard
all I wanted was my precious plum meinya's face, but tsukushi drew his butt instead, what a hack fraud
>the "Irumyui is Iruburu" theory was right I gotta stop reading these threads, I wouldn't have seen it coming.
Colton Scott
>First egg: "Fuck, I'm dying... All I wanted was to be a mother." >Second egg:"Oh no... Mom is dying... I want to protect her and everyone else in this camp." >Third egg:"FUCKYOUFUCKYOUFUCKYOUFUCKYOU THOSEWEREMYFUCKINGBABIES YOUFUCKING REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Landon Reed
Seems more acurate, except she most likely lost sentience somewhere along he way.
James Turner
Jesus, this would be like trying to house a lion with a gazelle
Jeremiah Diaz
I'm sure she was still pissed the fuck off deep inside.
Landon Sanchez
>Since the third egg was taken by Faputa. Not sure about this, but I think she's actually saying Faputa took THREE eggs
>once you pass through the membrane you can't come back... This isn't right either, I think she's just saying that Faputa can't get through the membrane
I'm under the impression that Irumyui used the second egg to give birth to Faputa, and she sent more eggs with her.
Evan Torres
>This isn't right either, I think she's just saying that Faputa can't get through the membrane If Faputa can't get in, and nobody inside can get out, how did Prushka end up at the whistle carver?
Alexander Bell
>Irumyui used the second egg The second egg was used by Wazukyan it was pointed several times during this chapter. It was Wazu, who wished his squad to survive.
Landon James
>Faputa took THREE eggs >三つの『卵』 Oh shit I think you're right. "三つ目" would've been 3rd, 三つ is just 3
Matthew Harris
Wouldn't "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" just be a more concise and acurate then?
Ryder Clark
I think the idea was it still had some juice left in it. The villagers refer to it as the second egg as it's birthing Faputa.
Carter Parker
Way too much manual effort when you rip as much stuff as I do. Don’t ask me why it’s so much, it has kind of become an addiction
>Maa-kun dies >Veko an heroes >Riku becomes depressed >Mitty 2.0 dissolves >Nanachi becomes depressed >Faputa has to be put down like a mad dog by Reg who then gets his memories of her back >Reg becomes depressed Layer 7 ho!
They just heard all the locks in the building engage at the same time.
Jayden Thomas
with value magic anything is possible
Levi Barnes
They have looks on their faces like they just experienced big dick shota for the first time. Miyu looks a little frightened but unable to avert her eyes, Mariya looks like she's awakening to something new.
Given they are Reg and Riko's voices, I hope they will be okay!
Jeremiah Mitchell
Tsukushi told Miyu she has to emulate pooping sounds and Mariya that she has to emulate shota sex sounds
Josiah Clark
>we're all gonna make it, brah
Wyatt Gutierrez
Too bad that everyone including the author seems to have forgotten about this aspect of the story
Julian Rogers
Yes, because all Tsukushi does is try to put fucked up things into the manga, and fetish bait.
Josiah Phillips
>no body horror transformations of Belafu and Wazukyan DROPPED
Jason Garcia
Good.
Jordan Harris
I hoped the villagers gradually deformed, and then augumented further with bought body parts. Instead we got a magical girl transformation. What a letdown.
Mason Barnes
>There's been no wonder on the sixth layer Are we even reading the same manga?
>the whole premise from chapter one is to dive into a mysterious and horrifying literal hellhole called the abyss >WHY COME STORY GET MORE DARKER MORE DEEPER THEY GO
>IF THEY EVER FUCKING GOT DEEPER REEE WHY AREN’T THEY FLYING THROUGH LAYERS QUICKLY ANYMORE
Dylan Evans
The layer 4 punch was awesome, and it's like he thought "oh great, everybody loves loli suffering better make the rest of the manga about that" when the actual reason that part was good was because it finally felt like the stakes were being raised and the main characters would have to deal with real consequences
But nope, all it's continued to do is cut down on consequences for the main characters (I guess reg lost an arm while not even fighting) and by this point they've basically forgotten about bondrewd. Hopefully things can move on now that we're out of half a year of flashbacks
Chase Long
They're all the way down in the sixth layer.
Noah Myers
>Tsukushi rushes through layer 3 >WTF WHY IS HE SKIPPING THE LAYER? >Tsukushi takes his time with layer 6 >WTF WHY ARENT THEY AT THE BOTTOM YETTTT
She didn't make the willing choice to give up her body and soul to the village. All she's doing is visiting, she wasn't aware that the village is a living being. The Narehate who did make this choice, ie everyone here, are now a part of Irumyuui and can no longer leave the membrane again. But Riko should be able to, since she didn't make a sacrifice.
Julian Jenkins
More like, why is this manga not living up to the expectations it set up at the start. I don't care about the characters running into problems as long as things stay interesting. Fuck, give reg a mindrape arc where he rapes and kills riko if that's what it takes to move the story forward. The problem is not that the veko sidequest and backstory are slow--the problem is that they aren't interesting or (as far was we know) even particularly relevant to the main plot
Lucas Young
so let me get this straight >wish egg can only affect the body it's planted in >wazu fucks with the second egg to inflict his own wishes on Iru >third? egg hatches into / is taken by Faputa
I like how you can make out his skeletal structure as he's being ripped apart. Nice attention to detail.
Michael Sullivan
>(maybe) find out in (maybe) two months in the next (maybe) exciting edition!
Isaiah Miller
Yes, that's exactly why the fourth layer was great, and the Idofront arc was amazing for other reasons, and everything about this arc (aside from update times) has been incredible as well for its own reasons. I don't know how many shattered limbs and near-death experiences you need your 12 year olds to have because "muh consequences" but they aren't going to make it to the bottom if they regularly take hits like she did on that one, it was one of the worst situations she'd ever been in.
Julian Nelson
>the problem with this story is that I don't find it interesting
All these girls are so cute. How does Tsukushi manage to do it?
Logan Watson
I understand from this chapter that Irumyuui has been eating a lot of wish eggs. It explains how Irumyuui achieved a lot of things. She became a thicc mom and became a village with ancap magic and then gave birth to a moth. But I don't understand why the story implies that Wazukyan used a wish egg. It's just mentioned like a passing detail, barely explained at all.
>It can't be... >He used the Cradle on himse- >...The Cradle of Greed >So you used it too...
I can't think of any wish he achieved. I can't think of any reason why it would be necessary for the story that he gets egged too. It even goes against the flow of the story because it was previously established that wish eggs are incompatible with adults.
Jaxson Miller
Faputa in the top of this page struck me as very cute. Tsukushi knows how to portray perfection perfectly
Bentley Thompson
They're not incompatible, they're just extremely unlikely to even be compatible in the first place, due to the complexity of adults' desires and wishes. That doesn't mean it's a 100% impossibility.
Joseph Bell
The thing is that raising stakes does not need to equate with physical danger to the main character, the consequences can instead be personal ones ie prushka getting cartridge'd--it didn't run the risk of preventing riko's journey from continuing, but it was still a raising of stakes to the main characters. Idofront had many great things going for it like the fights, the setting, and the information about how white whistles are made. Layer 5 hasn't really had anything other than the fetish town, which nobody cared or knew about before it was revealed (unlike, again, bondrewd). That's why the main interesting stuff about this arc has been reg's out-of-town escapades with Faputa
Carson Robinson
but this arc fucking isn't. it's like babby's first horror attempt from an author who has done better in the past
Gabriel Brown
>just be born >look through weird forcefield >see this What do?
lie about orphans being sick so she can kidnap them, then sell them into sex slavery while keeping the qt ones for herself
Aaron Martinez
fug cyclops
Joshua Thompson
Bondrewd loved Prushka and the rest of the children but Wazu clearly sees Irumuyuui as nothing more than a means of survival.
Liam Hill
No, Irumyuui reused the 2nd egg, the one Wazukyan used on himself. That's why he mentions it in .
You can reuse an egg, that's why even though the 1st egg was touched by those guys who turned into trees, Irumyuui could still reuse it.
The third egg/3 eggs thing comes from , where it looks like Faputa may have stolen another egg for some reason (potentially to weaken to village).
Levi Sullivan
Obviously develop of phobia of things with lots of eyes.
By the way, isn't the narehate in the middle the merchant Riko ran into who had a piece of Lyza's journal? If so, why did he need Kajya to interpret if he was one of the original generation?
It was kinda obvious, especially with the similar names and the narehate word for village sometimes meaning mother
Kayden Baker
>the "Tobi is Obito" theory was right What is it with Japs spoiling things with names?
Jeremiah Rivera
I -think- the implication is the reason he was able to survive without any signs of the water sickness everyone else got is because he used the egg but no one noticed until now because he hid the side effects under his clothes.
Bentley James
Get out.
Asher Sullivan
? Can't say I ever heard of anyone in Made in Abyss being called "Tobi" or "Obito"
that would be kind of cool actually, i would go around the woods stabbing at trees and stuff pretending im defending my cute wife Veko from abyssal horrors!
Anons, fair question; Considering how fucked up and angsty this whole arc was, what the fuck are you guys expecting for the next (and probably the last) arc in the bottom of the abyss?
He is but I'm getting worried for him because he's going through his naruto phase. I just hope he doesn't stop playing sports and going outside like I did.
That's what would make it all the more despairing if something that could actually erase that ever present smile does happen.
Nolan Price
Reg regaining the memories of clawbot! Reg telling Riko that she's going to stay right in the village and has the narehate imprison her! Reg going down to the bottom and leaving Riko in prison where she shall live on until the teleportation device is complete and she is teleported back to Orth and prevented from ever entering the Abyss again!
Landon Nelson
Imagining a little girl turning into an inhuman monster village after you turned her into a Lovecraftian monster and ate her children for months isn't normal, but if you're Tsukushi it is.
>regu and riko reach the bottom >one final, vast structure, totally lifeless >they reach the core >lyza's corpse, still fresh, sits in front of the final sealed door, apparently suicide >warning written in her blood on the door warns not to use a whistle to open it >riko does anyways, compelled by her abyss-zombie autism >a single, unnaturally white light at the end of the chamber, with something in front of it >the seat swivels to face the party >it's tsukushi, dick in hand >"You thought those were my fetishes? It hasn't even begun." >the next chapter is so obscene that it's never published and its author, editor, and most of the office that viewed it are all arrested
Nolan Bailey
no matter what you do or don't do you will regret it, no use dwelling on your past. Do the best you can for him instead.
>Do the best you can for him instead. I'll keep playing naruto fighting games with him until he's tired of me and stops admiring his big brother when he realizes how pathetic he actually is.
>stops admiring his big brother when he realizes how pathetic he actually is I highly doubt this will happen I still look up to my big bro and he was a neet for 3 and a half years.
Elijah Gonzalez
naruto is infinitely better if you stop thinking of them as "ninjas" in my experience.
>heart The guy was numb from the start, have you ever seen him sad during this entire trip?
It's Belafu who had a heart, that's why he was mentally broken after he ate the meat.
Also it's pretty clear he created the village using the cradle to satisfy his own ego and fulfill his own "prophecies". When he kept saying "thank god we made it in time", he was talking about saving himself from getting rekt by the cradle.
Connor Powell
At least you have someone who admires you. I don’t think anyone has ever thought anything of me
Bun is shit and I’m glad Tsukushi wrote him/her out of the story
Jack Gray
>ywn hound the bun for lewd rubs >until they are just fed up and decide to 'play along' >you're finally doing it, you're rubbing the bun all over and they like it! >nanachi whispers "take off your pants" into your ear >pantstime.gif with lens flare eyes >sitting there with your throbbing steel-hard rod in full view of the Bun >they start by swirling their toe against your frenulum >you let your guard down completely, even knowing how dangerous things are on this layer >suddenly bun's feet go straight down, clutching your treasures like a vice >and starts pulling them down... >hurts too much to do anything except arch your back and roll your hips forward so they follow the bun's feet to the ground as tears start to well up in your eyes >the bun finally stops when they touch the ground, but keeps them in a firm toe grip >look up at them with puppy dog eyes >bumpbun.png >HARD STOMP >*pop*
>midget riko did she give up part of her torso to belafu?
Ryder Walker
>ywn put your baby in that fluffy belly where's a cradle of greed when you need one
Luke Jenkins
Clearly Nanachi should get pregnant with a fluffy baby and put Mitty's soul in it.
Then we can have fluffy Mitty instead of rug Mitty.
Robert Gray
I know this might be at the ass end of the thread, but all the changes mentioned earlier this week for the MEGA have occurred. If you do have copies of the files from downloading them from the MEGA, I would greatly appreciate seeding. I won't be uploading these to nyaa as there are better encodes already available. Cheers!
Do you anons think she'll survive all this? I feel like Vueko may do a noble sacrifice or just get caught in the crossfire when shit goes down, what with the whole "I've already lived to long" trope there too.
