Kemurikusa was the highlight of the season. Easily the best anime plot in the last 4 seasons at least. Tatsuki is a genius god.

Everything in bilibili has a rating that puts it at one of the best anime in history, does that mean everything is actually among the best anime in history? Of course not.
If you want to measure what the chinks actually like you'll go after OST orchestras, covers and cosplay with a ton of views and even sponsorship, directors and VA bullied into going to China to give interviews, ad being run on the public TV, characters literally being used on school textbooks. Mob has none of it - zero.
Anyone can fake a rating on everything but it gets a whole lot harder to fake popularity and income.

As for Japan you can sugarcoat it all you want but at the end of the day it just means the top TV spot is scored at 63 which makes this season a complete disaster by any standarized scoring that ranges from 0 to 100. If Mob Psycho has 100 in its title then how come it can't be perceived as such hm?
Here's the ultimate truth in all of this dementia of yours, only a handful of westerners dare call it a classic or one of the best of anything, the East certainly isn't calling it these things and sometimes it takes people like me to put you on your place whenever a new FOTM shounen is airing.

Oh, I can form my own opinion alright. But I don't consider my favorite show of the season an objectively good one, just something that entertains me immensely. My favorite show was Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka, I know that there isn't anything objectively good about it, it's just dumb schlock that I love. Conversely I understand why people love Mob and I empathize, even if the fandom is absolute cancer I just understand why it's such a great show.

I calculated the averages scores for the most mentioned shows as of post 186460962, assuming AOTS -> garbage goes from 5 -> 0.
The series that got above 35 ratings were Mob, Dororo and Kaguya, with mob being rated on average the highest at 3.95, Dororo following close at 3.74 and Kaguya being behind at 2.88.

Sounds about right, really fits with the scoring across all mainstream platforms. Yea Forums isn't as elitist or contrarian as you might think.

I got bored of the world domination arc because it's too similar to the original Claw arc, and it falls into the same problem ONE constantly has where he starts off parodying shonen tropes and then ends up writing an unironic shonen arc

what did you not like about Kaguya's adaptation?

I dont know to be honest, this last arc of mob has been shit, neverland was a bunch of nothing, kaguya was great but has some weak episodes here an there and the closure of the season was weak as fuck. Dororo is good but is so cheap and rushed that a lot of things come as really bland, and incel hero is not bad but very generic, animu, and without substance.
None of the ones I have seen let me completely satisfied.

Dropped The Promised Neverland. I really dislike 10-year-old mary sues and gary stus. The drama was also boring. Though I have to admit the suspense well delivered.

I think this MP100 arc was pretty great, I think it's a natural progression to the story and I love the production values, I genuinely think it's a show with several qualities that make it a classic. Dororo is a bit of a mixed bag for me, I really, really love the show but I completely agree that it feels rushed. Kaguya-sama for me is a complete meme though, I just don't get what are people getting out of it, it's just another club room anime but this time with a bunch of unlikable pricks. And Shield Incel is completely devoid of substance, it's just another isekai with game mechanics despite it supposedly not being a game, I really don't get why it's so popular. Also, I think I'd really enjoy The Promised Neverland if I was new to anime but I can see through the plot twits.

That's why you should try watching more than just the "top 5" of the season, even Bermuda Triangle with their Spongebob physics had a better writing than Mob Psycho.

The Boogiepop fans have been very defensive for most of the season, with anyone that dislikes it being a pleb or retarded.
I can sort of see why they'd think that when tons of people couldn't work out who the characters were a few episodes in but even with the ability to recognise them it was pretty mediocre.
