It's over user. We lost.
any chance of an ova? or is there more content that could check out?
i wanna see more boogie
There are 16 more books. In Japanese. Don't think they've said anything about translating more. Book 4 wasn't animated though. Also there's Phantom and the live action movie of Others.
Don't expect a sequel for another 20 years.
>any chance of an ova?
No.
>is there more content that could check out?
I hope you know Japanese because otherwise you, like the rest of us, are stuck with 6 out of 22 (and counting) translated novels and about as many spin-offs (none of which are translated)
JINBROS RISE UP
Break throughto get season 2

FUCK enemies of humanity
nagi is for OLD MEN only
I feel like Overdrive is underrated for how fulfilling the characterization is for Kei, Sakiko, and Shiro. I think it has a more compelling emotional and thematic core than Returns despite that getting two volumes to develop.
God this show is so boring.
I really wish it was better.
At this point im only watching it for boogiepops VA.
Did this show ever get good? I was hyped at the premise of the show but after watching 3 episodes it was just 3/10 boring
It got worse actually.
Yes It becomes aoty
Don't listen to lnfags for phantomfags
>for
*Or
The duality of man
Even if you ignore how poor an adaption it is, there is no way it is better than Mob.
Time to Boogie
it will soon snow in April
SAVED
SPRING
I liked it a lot. I'm surprised people didn't.
It did last year here, I hope it does again.
most people liked it
I hope so, I kept seeing people give negative impressions in the threads.
wait, was there a sizable portion of people who didn't like the adaptation? animeonly fag here, i'm absolutely in love with it, what is there to dislike?
I liked it too, animeonlyfag reporting
I am a LNfag and I only disliked the 1st arc which was rushed. The rest was good to me.
It was fucking amazing. Season 2 when
it might be because I've seen some obscenely terrible adaptations, but I thought the entire thing was superb.
from what i've read, it's unlikely considering they stuffed something like 6 LNs into 18 episodes, and this was produced because of the 20 year anniversary of Boogiepop. it's likely just a one-off. Also, Natsume Shingo will probably move to another project and take his talent with him.
I just want to know what the hell happened with Boogiepop and others? That arc was pretty bad compared to the others surely there must be a reason.
>Season 2
>Madhouse
God I fucking wish.
I'm an LNfag and a Phantomfag, and I'd say only the first arc was bad. But I think it was bad enough that I'm surprised many people that weren't already fans stuck with it.
Dawn was great and proves the weekly format didn't do the show any favours. Mostly because people forget half the cast.
I pity the motherfuckers who legitimately can't into Boogiepop. That finale told more about love than most romance anime. God damn.
AOTS.
My guess is that corporate came down and told the production staff that sex and cigarettes were getting cut thus leading to lack of enthusiasm for what was going to be a kneecapped adaption. There obviously had to be schedule conflicts going on behind the scenes as evidenced by the abnormal release parameters and the quality whiplash in certain sections. If it was already determined that And Others was getting the shortest end of the stick due to content cuts, butchering it further to relieve pressure from the production is an easy option.
That finale scene was pure kino
For me it was complete, coherent and intriguing enough to see where it went from there, the first episode in particular stuck out to me because it was different, it wasn't bog standard in that they gave a few small hints that so many things were occurring off screen, and we were only seeing it from Takeda's point of view. it successfully left me with more questions than 'who are these people' subtly telling me they were going to answer it all if i just stuck around. I really felt like i was jumping into a world that was already alive, compared to a world that only exists once the viewer starts watching. Also Ushio Kensuke is fucking godlike
YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING
IT WAS ALL NIITOKI
vs imaginator is worst arc
fite me
touka and takeda are a bad couple tho
Touka x Boogie has more development
Boogiepop took care of Zooragi and saved Makoto.
King of Distortion stood at a crossroad, he could either just let it go, or he could push through and become an enemy of humanity. Boogiepop was there to snuff him out if he chose to become a threat, hence since he didn't, Boogies job is done.
Boogiepops job isn't to convince threats to not be a threat, his job is to get rid of them.
Why do people keep saying there's no chance of season 2 before 20 years?
because phantom was 19 years ago
it's a joke
Fair enough. I felt they did really poor job with Takeda's character arc in the first episode though.
Is it a joke if it makes me feel sad?
OST is on jewtube
youtube.com
it's self-deprecating humor
I just want to hear boogie again.
Ghostly Suiko is here to gently touch you.
>getting touched by Suiko
I wish.
Suiko a shit. She can't even do anything on her own. She has to find someone else to do it for her.
>Suiko a shit
Your brain is shit, faggot.
What happened to Kotoe?
CUTE
>Watch boogie
>Finished 9th episode
>Still had no idea what the fuck is going on
Am I retarded
Yes. You should have the gist of what's going on by the 4th episode. The first story about Manticore is the lead in
watch till episode 13. if you haven't figured it out by then, then yes. you are a retard
that was a good boogieride
smug boogie from tkmiz
What happened to her again?
>Don't expect a sequel for another 20 years.
I'll be undekinai'd enough to read LN before that happens.
Best boy and did nothing wrong.
>checks calendar
Well, it literally always snows in april here. There's snow outside right now.
seconding aots. Only other thing worth watching is yakusoku neverleave, and that's just some amusing kid level keikaku.
She got boogie'd
Man I liked this show so much, I read the novels just because of it, I'd love to have more boogie, what's gonna heal the distortion inside of me anons?
In which arc?
turn your pain into gold user
>In which arc?
In episode 4, Boogie corners her on the school's rooftop and she chooses to jump from the building and kill herself rather than letting Boogie kill her.
Her soul still lingers in the world and manipulated Jin for while, but she's dead all the same.
user, this is loli imaginator
nobody knows.
boogiepop is never ending story until there is a explanation of her death in details.
I know she's the one appearing to imaginator, I don't remember her role.
Actually, the novel does state the time frame from her death. It happened around one month before the Manticore incident, if I remember correctly.
That's not it. She's the Imaginator. The guy she manipulated (Jin Asukawa) was just her pawn.
You need to rewatch episode 4. You got the whole thing backwards.
Mob is just Bones eye-candy that misinterprets the source material.
I miss boogie already
post characters that did NOTHING wrong
Does he do anything in later novels?
>he actually made an image of my dumb idea
Thank you based user.
No problem fellow boogiebro
