From what? From the novels? It's different cases here. That is an adaptation thing. With Nagai it is an inconsistency between supposedly connected anime series Index and Railgun. They share the same character designer for the anime but Nagai changed the clones' eyes differently from the previous anime seasons where the clones appeared and what's worse about is Index 3 not also changing it. Moreover, the Accel anime who has a totally different character designer pretty much basically retains the eyes of the clones from the Index anime only its style which makes Nagai's clone eyes stand out.

It's not necessarily bad though. Railgun's sister arc is way more personal so I can understand why they made them look exactly like Mikoto without any design gimmicks.

We just had a really definitive and climactic major arc conclusion, and introduced a new antagonist right at the end. If NT was going to continue for a while that wouldn't be weird. If it had ended there, and was setting up the next series, it wouldn't be weird. But if it's ending really soon, that's an odd choice.

It could just be an SS user. Things like SP, SS1 and SS2 were in a lot of ways setting up the future. It could be a 1 volume arc.

Part of his contract with them is that they handle quality control for adaptations and such, meaning instead of an author bumbling about trying to manage things, he just writes as usual while Miki has to handle things like that.

Although as another user said, Miki is basically Kamachi's agent but with the power to speak for him. He wouldn't have said twice in a day that the anime was bad if Kamachi didn't agree with him. So in other words, you CAN blame Miki if future seasons still see no improvement, as it's on his shoulders to demand better quality now.

I liked it more than NT2 at any rate. NT2 was mostly an infodump, and mostly for the characters' sake. The audience knew most of what was being discussed. (I assume Kamachi did it for weirdos who jumped in NT without reading OT). And the conflict at the end just felt tacked on and not really necessary. The worst part is that there's a pretty great comedic setup (half of academy city wanders into Touma's dorm) but most of the jokes fall flat even though a few were good, like Touma's casual negation of Umidori's sneak attack.
