Upon finding someone you find sexually appealing your brain goes to work to push you to pursue, what comes next the the fight between the inner ego, the crushing rejection and possible hope to copulate with said partner.

So, knowing this no. I don’t feel sad or hopeless. I just know I’m being manipulated to feel these things and try to deal with them. Also, knowing those potential partners will behave in way to only further hurt me, I desist
