People who claim to know what happened in part 6's are just making assumptions. We don't know anything for sure except Pucci realizing him dying would fuck up the heaven where everyone would get precognition of all the misfortune they'll face. Alternate Jotaro and Jolyne can mean anything. Maybe everyone died in the old universe and the new universe is just a new set of people. Maybe the old souls transported to the new universe, only the bodies changed a little. In the end only Araki knows.

Because Pucci not existing meant never being Dios disciple meant Jotaro didn't have to travel the world for years and be an absent father, Jolyne never grew up a delinquent and actually had a good relationship with Jotaro and Jotaro thus never felt the need to pass down the JoJo mantle to her.

Yeah in many ways the ending of part 6 could have been much different if a certain somebody from part 5 were present, why wasn't he in here anyway? His interaction with pucci would have made sense since he worked with his father dio.

Araki can't let us have nice things. Though honestly, universe reset was inevitable since like Bohemian Rhapsody, you just can't leave shit like that hanging in your universe.

Because Araki wanted to move away from the main universe and start anew. Made in Heaven and Pucci's motivation served to introduce the existence of a multiverse and Giorno being there to stop his plans would've prevented that.

Actually I haven't caught up on it yet, but I known about this ending because of how widespread it has been, I know what's going on but I'm going through it for more details.

Ireneverse is not the same universe as SBR and JJL.

Some of the enemy stands are just too bizarre for their own good in my opinion, to the point where some of the fights are just incomprehensible as to what's causing what. My absolute least favorite fight in the series is the rods, it's just such bullshit and Araki just making it up as it goes along. A lot of the enemies have really lame personalities and designs too, the only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the chick who erases your memory and one of the sons of DIO who had the underworld stand. I'll contest that part 6 had some of the best main protagonist stands in the series like stone free, kiss, diver down and weather report. Though the problem is the group chemistry doesn't get anytime to breath with weather report and hermes taking massive breaks throughout the part and just how out of hand the situation gets once they escape prison. I also don't get what the point of emporio was, and why is he wearing a baseball uniform?
