Well, looks like we finally found New World Zoros Achilles heel; Observation Haki. At the beginning of Fishman Islamd it seemed like he was as proficient as Sanji and Luffy, when he was blocking Hodys water bullets with the hilt of one of his swords. That doesn't really seem to be the case now, because simply being distracted wouldn't have earned Luffy or Sanji a scythe to the shoulder.

It makes sense and balances things out a bit now; Zoro excels in Armament and not so much in Observation while Sanji aces Observation and kind if sucks at Armament

But if Carrot and Pedro are the exceptions, and Mink ordinarily shouldn't be able to control Sulong, that might be an issue.
