my biggest complaint is that the final gamble is really one-sided. yumeko basically put her nameon the line to win her money back. the outcome didn't really matter because rei already played her card (revealing her true intention of insurrecton) and lost the auction, so the bit of suspense so yumeko was gambling for no reason really

This ending was really anticlimatic, but at least we will get a 3rd season.

Almost all the characters Yumeko defeated ended up happier somehow. She might be fucking crazy, but she's kind of a hero in her on twisted way.

As you can see this rough draft was drawn by the author, himself, so character designs were changed once Kakegurui became an official manga with a different illustrator.

Really makes me want to watch an original overly dramatic anime with theater aesthetics, acting and direction.

Suzui being the over powered MC immediately makes the premise predictable. Him being an irrelevant dumbass makes him far more tolerable and even likeable. Having Yumeko be a gamblingsexual slut makes the series so much better.
