There's alot of reason why i boruto manga/anime sucks, and its not entirely kishis fault
1. Mangaka writes the Boruto manga as if its a weekly manga, 1 chapter / 39 pages can go by without any plot progression
2. Mangaka draws panel like it's fucking bleach where alot of pages have only 2 -3 panels.
3. Says Boruto anime has its own canon, doesnt introduce kawaki, doesnt progress the story and still stuck in filler tier arcs. Clearly, they're still adapting the boruto manga.
4. Kishi is just an advisor for Boruto whereas he's the author and most likely the character designer for Samurai 8
And HxH should be back soon with its usual 10 chapters. Though we'll see...

Last Saiyuki is really enjoyable so far, its hitting all the points i expected out of Higuma, so hopefully it doesnt shit the bed. Yui Kamio feels like a romcom right out of the 90s/00s. Really enjoying it so far. Its too early to tell but I think they'll both survive.

Obviously stuff got stretched out before, but it's not even remotely the same. The scale of stretching out is not even close in comparison. The difference matters quite a lot because modern Jump stretches things out until the people reading the magazine are younger than the manga which is a bit different then adding an extra arc or two. That already was bad and almost everyone agrees on that so why do you think doing that but even more extreme is better?

Bleach's peak was during HM where it sold 1 million units after a year and a half. It never reached that peak within that span again and dropped during Winter War. MHA reached the million milestone after two years while it took Bleach three years to reach 1 million units sold.
