>Rurouni Kenshin
I only ever seen the muh mature anime faggots talking about the OVAs rather than talking about the series in general.
Yea Forums never cared about TloGH
The OVA is a masterpiece.
why do you keep spamming these threads??
OP has nothing else to do with his life.
>Flip Flappers
>Universally loved
What a waste of time.
Was thinking of watching the anime, is it worth it or just outdated Shōnen tripe?
Madoka sucks ass.
Madoka is the only anime from this decade that people will still care about and discuss decades from now.
You may not like it but Madoka is literally the Eva of our generation
No. You're missing Violet Evergarden.
Replace Madoka with Monogatari
You had me at Flip Flappers.
What a man of taste you are OP
Fuck no
I don't like Millennium Actress, Utena, LOGH, Howl, Nanoha or Madoka
Princess Kaguya, Kiki, Kino, Flip Flappers, Laputa, Rurouni Kenshin: T&B and Eva are among my favourites though
>Flip Flapers
Flappers*
Probably yeah
replace eva with k-on
Madoka sucks
>evangelion sucks ass.

The OVA is great because it is melancholic and serious without being retarded like the Reflection. The humoristic parts from Keshin's backstory from manga were removed for the OVA and it worked well because humor only broke the feel of it.
The series itself has problemes when it sometimes fills an entire episode with 1 chapter worth of material, making it drag on, not to mention the fillers. Manga is better because of that plus because it's complete while anime is not.
Digipedo spotted.
When I said series I meant the manga. I enjoyed the anime too but I watched it when I was a kid so I don't remember how it holds up. The anime doesn't have too much filler though outside of the episodes after the Shishio arc though. It's at least not comparable to One Piece or Naruto in that regard. I was always annoyed at how it cut some stuff from the manga though, not to mention not animating the final arc.
That pic he used is from the OVA which is indeed a masterpiece.
