yup

I did, I wanna stay on Tatsuki's fun ride.

So now that the Red Kemurikusa is gone andassuming nobody will ditch a thirsty loli again, doesn't that means that the Ship could still run? I wonder what would Wakaba bosses say if they came to see what happened.

Of course.

Attached: D2raUFuU0AAj0Jj.jpg large.jpg (1731x800, 229K)

he's in so much shit

>happy ending
>Wakaba's happy
>Riri's happy
>I'm happy
i wonder how the world ended like that
,i get the ayys and all,but my headcannon is the most simple one, mutual destruction, but then i see the green hills at the end, undermining my hypothesis, any ideas?

I didn't doubt Tatsuki. I just thought he may not deliver.
Sorry Tatsuki.

Ritsu's not happy. RIP Midori-san.

I finally got around to watching the episode. I suppose it was obvious in retrospect, but hey I was right about Rin saying his name for the first time!

may.2chan.net/b/src/1553742679868.jpg
Oh yeah

how did you hack my webcam

So what about the blue fog?

Midori is alive.
But the bus is gone.

Attached: midori.jpg (1280x720, 44K)

It was a pretty brilliant ending the more I think of it. Riri commanded her "selves" to save Wakaba. Realizing that was not possible, she retconned that and said "Just do what you love" instead. Wakaba ended up being reincarnated by Midori. Rin felt attracted to him, not for any real reason other than the memory leaf inside her reacting to him. In the end, Rin decided to follow the mission of doing what she loved, which, it turned out, was also the original mission.

I like it.
Episode 12 could've been better, but that smile at the end is satisfying, verily so.

It was interesting.

So BD rips when? I need to see if Tatsuki will really fix the last episode before I declare this the AOTY.

With enough time and kemurikusa science skills, they should be able to fix everything after a long enough time. The question is if they'll realize they should.

No she never did, until today.

Not that I can recall at least.

It wasn't better than KF S1 and wasn't a masterpiece, but it was still great overall. The ending was a bit rough but Rin's smile alone makes up for that.

You know that all the doujinshi, or at least the majority, will be focused on those big fat cat saggers

I'm still a bit worried. How long will they survive, is this even possible outside of the ship? What is the life span of a leaf? And how will they continue their lifes now, considering they might be far in the future and the last sentient beings?

If everyone in the stream rated it, at least 300 people think kemurikusa is shit.

Well, they seem to be immortal so maybe some day.

I wonder how would these plants look like in the Asanagi style.

Rina : Na

>300 people work in the stream for Kadokawa

>Male MC

Attached: 1517771561131.png (1920x1080, 1.14M)

The fact that this happened on a platform that helped boost the KF franchise and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kadokawa is just pure pottery.

We can only assume that the world is in some sort of Wall-E state where the world is starting to reform around all the ruins, if there are humans or not is up to speculation, remember that Riri sure was the clone of an human that Wakaba picked up somewhere but we are not sure of WHEN did she died, maybe she's remembering things from centuries ago.

That Wakaba is dead, though. New Wakaba can just say "not my problem".

Yes i do.

Time to collect the bet

Wasn't it in the flop line?

I wonder if someone has the KF2 ones, just for comparison. As I've seen on Futaba it is not well received and its mainly used for porn, trolling or praising cute girls. Even S1 is top discussion nowadays

Where's the Servalface version

Ritsu standing up and taking that pose was fucking amazing.
And her combat ability is still a secret because all the damage shown afterwards is from Rina and Shiro

here

I want the standalone SoL of all the sisters doing cute things

For the most part. I knew that the only way this was going to end was with a good deal of action. Its just a shame its the one aspect Tats and crew are the least capable in delivering, where the characters, story and intrigue is what carried everything to this point. But it still had plenty of good bits and was an enjoyable ride to the end.

Wait, so how did Wakaban get revived after Riri saw him die?

Each Kemurikusa follow certain orders and commands, Red Kemurikusa objective was to destroy Kemurikusa, Blue Kemurikusa objective was to protect the walls, hence the blue bugs attacking the girls since they were trying to damage the wall.

And one day we will die and our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea.

Let me help you there user

Riri mentioned there would be "six adult versions of herself"
So Rinas are not real lolis

You're welcome

> heh ... too slow
best chuuni

If it looks like a loli then it's a loli, na

I would say the ride as a whole was more enjoyable than the conclusion.
The last episode was still good, but I felt it really suffered from being so action-oriented and fast-paced, especially with all the animation clipping or Wakaba nearly dying but ending up just fine several times over the course of 20 minutes. Getting to see the dead sisters again was similarly a mixed bag. Hopefully the BD fixes some of these issues, but I doubt the episode will be given the extra 10 or so minutes it deserves to fix the pacing issues.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied even if I didn't particularly care for Rin's smile at the end. It was great at first but then just spent an uncomfortably long time with her just staring with her mouth agape.

The Rinas are legal, na

Is it finally time for professor Wakaba to science the shit out of Kemurikusa?

I wouldn't mind more of dead sisters.
They got too little screen time.

How would you guys like it if they rejoined their leaves to become Riri again?

This involves the death of three to six characters in order to restore one character and that ain't an even trade.

Don't like the trade off but if it was done in some fun way, like single sister's personality traits becoming dominant sometime instead of Riri just going back to how she was I'd be probably ok with it.

You wish

It was one of science-Wakaba's defense mechanisms. Basically it directs white shiros to attack anything thats threatening the wall.

For me it's 8/10, would rate it a bit higher but wakaba was annoying in the first 3 episodes and the off sounds in the last episode ruined the hype but besides that the whole show was great

Nah, it's because the threat of red bugs is gone and they're just waiting for death Apparently the doujin ver booklet says that they all intentionally adopted verbal tics, because (apart from Ritsu) the sisters don't have good enough hearing to tell each other's voices apart.
I guess it's particularly important during battle, but I don't get why they wouldn't want to keep doing it anyway.

> they all intentionally adopted verbal tics, because (apart from Ritsu) the sisters don't have good enough hearing to tell each other's voices apart.
It's like that face blindness thing except for voices, damn. Most of them probably have face blindness too, for that matter.

So, I get Riri becoming the girls, and I get the orders and actions of the original Wakaba. But how did Wakaba2.0 come to be? Maybe I missed something.

I think in addition to and it helping tell the sisters apart, part of what they were doing with adding the verbal tics and sounding all cutesy was probably partially intended to help keep Rin happy like some of the other things they did. Now that it's all over and they don't have to worry about that anymore and Rin has found something that makes her happy they don't need to act for her.

Midori restores things. Wakaba 2.0 was born from the parts of Midori that grew off the body of Wakaba 1.0.

I never would have expected verbal tics to be plot-relevant in an anime like that.

Whether it was planned or not from Wakaba, his death allowed for Midori to grow through him so it probably absorbed some of his genetic information and was able to create a full person over time. It seems to be somewhere between creating a clone and healing, given Wakaba doesn't remember most things but he was also surprised to show up in the water all of a sudden.

I don't know that I can see how this happened still; I'm missing something. The Red tree impaled him, so Midori wasn't involved until it gave him the succ in the water hose.

Attached: 1553631475160.png (768x603, 327K)

This is Wakaba 1.0 using his body to germinate Midori to fight Red Tree right after Riri fucks up.
That Midori grows huge, drains tons of water and stops Red Tree, but is unable to destroy it completely.
Later on, Ritsu finds this Midori's branch and grows it. And from that branch, Wakaba 2.0 is born.

user, that shot of the green pillar of light shining through the rising walls in episode 11 was probably Midori growing out of his corpse, or at least implied it. There's also but sadly user posted that before I could.
You're right, sorry user.

Attached: 1553110560957.png (1280x720, 2.65M)

He bleeds while Riri didn't post-transformation. I'm inclined to believe Wakaba is a human. Maybe a 12.1 or something would be nice to figure out what's on the other side of the containment zone.

Maybe not.

why were they on land

>was probably Midori growing out of his corpse, or at least implied it.
It was Midori all right, the one growing on Island 7 with Wakaba's labcoat at the base.

When the red fog took over, ship crashed or did emergency landing on Earth.

Since the ship is kemurikusa or at least probably runs on it, the red tree and fog caused it to fail and stop floating. The earthquakes early on were probably from it landing

Honestly I found the ending a bit dissapointing. There was nothing actually wrong with it, I think I just set my expectations too high. Those final 5 seconds were great though.

>Since the ship is kemurikusa
I really hope it isn't.
While the tech is good, you really don't want to run out of water and have your ship bubble out from under your ass mid flight.

I didn't watch any anime this season, is this worth marathoning this weekend?

If you have time to funpost on Yea Forums you have time to watch some Kemurikusa.

Marathon Wataten first, since that is the anime of the season.

>not watching shows as they air so you can have fun with Yea Forums discussing and speculating
No. Fuck off.

When Wakaba touches the ground in episode 12 it opens up a kemurikusa command prompt thing so it's at least implied. Maybe the ship is part of a tree instead of a leaf?

How big is the ship?

Yet there's still a shitton to translate. I began studing jap 6 monts ago just to read and translate doujin, yet I feel it's going to take a few years just to start doing so.

Attached: D2Up9B7UgAE7lJi.jpg large.jpg (1131x1200, 158K)

>Wakaba are you sure this is usuiro?

Attached: 1553743324797.jpg (1920x1080, 269K)

Parts of ship interior uses grass tech?
I just don't like the idea of hull deteriorating on it's own or when idle and just disappearing in case of water trouble.
Also Wakaba said they needed him to operate big kemurikusa (excavator 3d printer) and the ship is magnitudes bigger.

How sensitive you think Riku's nipples are?

Attached: 1553486308737.jpg (344x135, 12K)

That's also possible, guess it's just one of those mysteries that will remain unanswered. Then again the ground on the islands, just like everything else on the islands, is made from kemurikusa so we don't know for sure if he was even interacting with the ship or just with part of the island

Attached: 1553336952007.jpg (953x1248, 53K)

so how technologically advanced are the ayyys? k1 or less?

>I get why people hated him but he reminded me of all the sugoi and stuff from KF. I was surprised people didn't appreciate that a little more
I've said it since episode one, if Wakaba were Wakaba-chan he/she'd probably be the most popular character in the show and at least ninety percent of the complaints about them in the first couple of episodes would have never been made in the first place.

Attached: [HorribleSubs] Kemurikusa - 10 [720p].mkv_snapshot_03.32_[2019.03.14_01.14.56].jpg (1280x720, 114K)

I haven't watched past episode 4 yet. Was the last week as hyped here as Kemono Friends episode 11-12 was?

Was momo-chan consumed in the end? I pray for more Rina multiplying.

Her voice reminds me of Kita Kitsune.. isn't not the same person, is it?

You have anything to back that up user? I saw the tweets but I never heard of this image until now

They have whole ship free of red fog, they can get all the kemurikusa they want now.

Imagine Rin's fat thighs by him. Everything should be fine as long as he doesn't dedicate an entire Victim Girls to the show.

no idea if it was actually from him, just looked like that, give me a minute to find it my stash is not sorted

At the start, it really might have just been the memory leaf reacting to Wakaba that made Rin blush. Seeing Rin come around to loving him purely herself was so sweet.

Oh god her thighs or Ritsu's fat cat tats would be wonderful from him. I believe in the one in a billion chance this actually healed him and that he might create a vanilla doujin.

The technical aspect in many scenes was astoundingly limited and barely apt for a commercial title but beyond that it was fucking amazing, interesting and memorable characters, mysterious setting, rock solid visual storytelling, great bgm, I came expecting to be tanoshi~ed again and Tatsuki delivered

Will we ever see them again? Inevitably we'll get a few web shorts, but probably nothing major again. I can appreciate a creator telling the story he wants to tell and stopping when needed instead of dragging it out indefinitely, but I'm going to miss everyone.

Looks like doll-san met roomba engineer-san at the cafe.

I don't think so, but I'm definitely satisfied with this ending and hope that if we get web shorts they're nice and fun. I'm going to miss these threads, hopefully the next thing Tatsuki makes is as enjoyable as this and has fun threads too

season two is a SoL where they live among the aliens and enjoy life.

But I feel at home here

His Azur Lane doujin was already vanilla as fuck compared to everything else he made. But I doubt he'd dedicade more than a couple of pages of a multi-source book to it. KK has very little material for doujins compared to major mobage franchises that leech the vast majority of doujin market. Tatsuki's works are also more wholesome than on average - see KF's very low percentage of porn the last few comikets despite it being a waifufest. Personally I'd give KK at most 10-20 R-18 doujins at C96.

I don't want this to end.

If I'm not mistaken Rin only called Wakaba by his name twice, both at the end of the show the first when he was in danger and the second to confess him. For the rest of the time she just called him "Omae".

Out of curiosity, how many anons watched this without seeing KF1 first?

I've watched KF1 after 7 episodes or so.

So when the sisters die they just go outside the ship?

Attached: 1550570218578.jpg (1448x2048, 555K)

Me, I didn't watch as much ongoings two years ago, so still had KF1 in to-watch list. Kemurikusa was great, guess now it's time to see what Tatsuki did with Japari Park.

And so after Kemurikusa evaporates and reaches the atmosphere, it condenses into the substance later called Sandstar.

Attached: D2raTDLU4AAxqak.jpg.jpg (1200x675, 72K)

I prefer an epilogue ep or a short movie (45min) over a new season. We could see them trying to adjust in a new environment.

An epilogue would be nice but overall I thought the ending was much more complete than KF1. At the end of KF it was pretty clear the adventure was not over.

KF1 is still a great watch and I personally think it's superior to Kemurikusa. Just pretend the non canon fanfiction they call a sequel doesn't exist.

When will we get another story as fulfilling as Kemurikusa again lads. I can't take this anymore. I need a good story to keep me going.

>tfw no cute yandere loli destroying the world for you to spend less time working and more time with her

I want my own Shiro! Best boy!

What I liked was that she wasn't actually crazy yandere, she was just a cute kid.
She wanted to play with her Wakabaka and she did what she thought was best to achieve that goal.
Especially after the transition from thee red leaf to her hugging his back.
Fuck tatsuki is fantastic.

Rina has by far the best design. But it felt like her ability to eat everything was underused. Such a shame man eating skirt was used only once.

The OP had her best fight sequence, she giant throws one of the bugs and another comes from above, summons an steel beam, and spikes it into the ground.
We should have had more Rina kill combos

Nobody is truly gone when memory leafs exist.

Water is one of the most common things in the universe. It's just that usually it's ice.

Kemurikusa is like a mix of Stargate replicants and Babylon 5 organic technology. Looks pretty damn advanced.

Attached: 1551884529963.png (638x690, 286K)

Momo made it entirely possible that the three might have duplicated for the fight and are still in Rin's body, though it definitely feels more likely that they're gone

Not as much but yes it was big.

Not even scientist Wakaba fully understood it so it might be a big mystery even wherever Wakaba is from.

Holy shit people stop overreacting. It was okay but not that amazing. It's so annoying that just being able to tell a simple story right is considered some amazing feat in the era of isekai and capeshit.

Sure, statistically. Won't help much when broken biotech sucks your tanks dry and leaves you stranded with disintegrating ship, light years away from anything.
Which might be what actually happened on Wakaba's ship if the gigantic ship-spanning lake we saw before red fog took over is both fuel for grass machinery and for the ship itself.

It was amazing.
What else has been this enticing? I'm not even saying "haha ur a faget ur wrong"
I'm actually curious at what else you think has been this good.

The only thing shitty about this is the lack of budget and 3D

>just being able to tell a simple story right is considered some amazing feat
Yes.
That is exactly the point.
Being able to tell a story in a way that doesn't rely on shitty twists and crappy tropes is quite difficult.

I always thought she sat on Midori because she was very weak. Turns out she was just lazy.

Not that guy, but I thought Kemono Friends, Revue Starlight, and Houseki no Kuni were very good shows from the past few years. Yuru Camp and some other SoL shows were also quite good, but they arent really in the same field as this.

Actually, the way he puts it it sounds like no one really cares.
He even mentions that he got a job working with kemurikusa to be able to study them. A job that was pretty much your typical crane operator/garbage man. Complete with long shifts (away from Riri for long times on end), gloomy outlooks and heavy smoking to cope with one's life choices.

Maybe she was concerned about her pet tree drinking precious water and shared hers.
Would explain why her leaf bubbled in ep3 and looked all kinds of crumpled.

Would this show interest me if I'm into world building/exploring stuff? (think Made in Abyss or Girls' Last Tour). From what I understand it's about some post apocalyptic world.

Yes.

Yes, very yes. Also watch the original Kemono Friends if you haven't.

Anyone got the video replacing Riku with Tsuchinoko?

>if I'm into world building/exploring stuff? (
It is exactly that.

Attached: 1549723554133.jpg (1500x1031, 357K)

Thank you I will watch it.

What episode where you on when you finally realised Kemurikusa isn't Kemuri-Kusa but rather Kemu-Riku-Sa and finally accepted best girl into your life?

The one with the bridge fight

Pfft...

I love just how much our Japanese colleagues love the concpt of her being a skilled martial arts lady.

Attached: 1553770094073.png (344x135, 14K)

How is this different from any other kind of fuel?

It's a good show but it has flaws. Early episodes were not so good and honestly too slow while finale could use more time. Final fight was too much shonenshit. It also suffered from not so great characters.

Attached: 1553720820441.jpg (677x711, 35K)

I don't think anyone mentioned it but I thought the part where the music stopped when she said "I was watching" was really cool.

>I'm actually curious at what else you think has been this good.

From recent seasons? Revue finale was much better than this. ZLS was just as good while also having better characters. Gridman was about as good with finale also being a bit weak.

Kemurikusa is a good show but it's nowhere near KF and honestly without the entire KF fan fanaticism backing it it would not be even close as popular as it is.

KF wouldn't rise from the dead if S1 wasn't 2012 Kemurikusa fanfiction.
Also KK is better and actually finished, unless your priority is female only cast and friend of the week cutesy stuff. Doesn't help much that all the interesting mystery stuff doesn't get anywhere.

Well to be fair it was pretty clear at least some of it would have been addressed in S2 but we all know what happened.

>without the entire KF fan fanaticism backing it it would not be even close as popular as it is.
Or, you know, it could be something that a lot of people just happen to like and are willing to spend their money on?

This is not how modern world works and you know it.

Yes, it was a great show and I enjoyed it so much. But the last episode was just so-so. I mean, half of the episode is just action scenes and, to be honest, irodori is not quite good with it. And another half of episode is about how "dead" sisters literally annihilate red tree. In my opinion they looks way too overpowered and the whole fighting scene is too edgy. But the final is nice - I really like the ending and scene after it.

I don't know, it feels like one more episode is missing somehow. Maybe they'll make episode 12.1 someday?

red tree was better a symbol of lolis love gone wrong, and just being a red tree
being a ff9 boss baddie looking fuck was a mistake

Of course it it
>I like something
>I spend money on it
Its not that fucking hard to understand. You just cant see past your cynicism.

Don't even pretend people would pay attention to this if it came out before KF.

Tatsuki's videos had shit views for years before KF happened.

>a guy making hobby anime shorts isn't popular
That's a very astute observation, user
You're very kashikoi.

You are a friend who has great restraint!
I was already typing "faggo" before I read your reply!

I wouldn't bet my words on that
Look at KF's first episodes and tell me, do you think that bad CG shit could even sell a hundred copies?

If Kemurikusa came before KF, it is possible that it would sell the same amount. Tatsuki is a miracle magnet

Attached: 1534588302409.jpg (991x1400, 680K)

Attached: IMG_20190328_191149.jpg (1067x600, 157K)

KF's insane explosion made people think "yeah, this guy's stuff looks like shit but it's fun to watch". Without that nobody would care about Kemurikusa.

Do you really think Keifuku sold so well because it was good too? 5 minutes of kosho kosho nothing happens?

So why did people watch KF?
It was DEAD before Tatsuki made it popular.
By your own logic nobody should care.

>guy does a bunch of test demos that no one gives a shit about before actually doing something big
Yeah, thats usually how it goes. Is Kemurikusa came out before KF, I'd it on the fact that its technically an anime original. The promotional art was interesting and so was the premise.

>If Kemurikusa came before KF, it is possible that it would sell the same amount.
To be honest, KF is more appealing to the masses, with a lot of cute girls and character interaction at which Tatsuki excels. It's way harder to get into KK if you're completely unfamiliar.

KF was many times more popular than Kemurikusa. And it only really became a hit after episode 10.

Tatsuki became a brand.

Attached: 1551829668734.jpg (2042x1231, 421K)

>So why did people watch KF?

Unironically thanks to twitter and memes.

Quite-a-competenta-body-guarda!
Absorutery atrocious!
Sorry I just wanted to say this somewhere after watching this thing.
Anyway the soundtrack was sort of cool, but not as good as Girly Air Force.

>if we revised history and removed the part where he earned the people's love, he wouldn't be loved at all
Genius.

Quit complaining, fucktard. He earned his fame using his own two hands, a shitty computer, and 2 other friends. This isn't like Love Live and Im@s who's just jumping on the work of the pioneers

This is a man who earned his place with the sweat on his back

Attached: 1550806652119.png (1200x1037, 165K)

Meme's don't make people angry enough to boycott a publishing giant

How do we fix Iridori's animation? It's their only weak point.

We don't, it's called a charm point.

KF is more popular than Kemurikusa because it is child friendly and open to a lot more people. Kemurikusa is too plot heavy for the common idiot.

Wait till Keifuku comes in. It might just break KF

Now I'm concerned with one question - will the next Tatsuki work be so popular as KF1 and Kemurikusa? And another question - will he change the formula of the plot in his next work? I mean, KF1 and Kemurikusa have a lot in common:

-artificial non-human girls (created by cataclysm);
-main character with amnesia;
-unique unknown world;
-main character is too weak and annoying in first two episodes;
-only main character can read (well, in Kemurikusa there were one more girl, but whatever);
-cute robot-companion;
-real humans probably extinct;
-main character became really cool;
-shit gets real in episode 11;
-everyone alive, happy ending;
-the whole new world is opened in the end.

Actually, I like this formula, but if Tatsuki will use it in his next work, it'll be quite boring.

KF had a lot more plot points going for it. And it had a wider range of aesthetics and background art.
The think I didn't like about this show was everything was modtly grey/red with low detail art everywhere. It got old and the plot wasn't very interesting. KF s1 must have had at least 10x the budget, not to mention a way better premise.

To the user a few threads ago that he thought everything was made of kemurikusa and that's why the weight and things were off -
I don't think that's correct, or else the Mushi's would be going ape shit insane attacking everything, on the sky bridge we saw the Shiro get overrun by midoris leaves and it starting attacking wildly in order to reduce the number of kemurikusa. if they whole island were in fact kemurikusa then the red bugs would be going insane all the time. I think that the purple leaf used cold fusion to convert water to energy, then that energy into matter for the replicas.

>many times more
Exaggerating much?
There are numbers from ep.12 stream right in this thread.

>Revue finale was much better than this.
If you mean Revue Starlight then you've got to be kidding me. The series got so boring after Banana's arc was over.

pay up

00:00:08 apart

>It got old and the plot wasn't very interesting.
Compared to cute animals doing cute things?
Not really.
KF1 strength was that it was brightly colored children show with some mystery sprinkled in that didn't really went anywhere because drama.

That's not his formula though.
KF is a Kemurikusa copy, hence the similarity

Next project would be Keifuku which is basically just a dreamscape and a girl who manages the world of dreams and spirits.

Even Hentatsu is vastly different.

Attached: 67974955_p0.jpg (640x640, 216K)

KF was not even such a big hit with kids.

The main reason why KF was much better and more popular is because characters had more personality and charm.

Speaking of Keifuku, I wonder how good Tatsuki's non-adventure animes will be.

>-everyone alive
Really? Wakaba №1, Lily, Ryoku, Ryo, Riku, they are all dead.

>Next project would be Keifuku

Really doubt that.

>-shit gets real in episode 11;
So like in every one cour anime ever?
>-only main character can read (well, in Kemurikusa there were one more girl, but whatever);
Why pad the list when the point doesn't even apply?
>-real humans probably extinct;
Not a thing in KK, see ep.11.
>-everyone alive
Rinako, Rinazo, Ryou, Ryoku, Riku, Lab-kaba and Riri disagree.

Final episode was amazing though.

And where are those kids when S2 is airing? I'm sure they don't give a crap about Kadokawa drama.

I personnally enjoyed Revue Starlight, but it lacked a bit more experience in the fighting scenes. Either lack of budget or experience, but it wasn't as satisfying as it could've been.
And let's face it, the SoL parts were mostly boring.

KF was much than moe and you are low iq or underage if you don't see that.
And yes both the plot and artwork of KF s1 was way better than this ultra low budget and narrow thing.

They dropped the show. Even they were complaining and the first thing they said still haunts me

At least they'll make something like 12.1, right?

Threads going fast!
Real talk now: this here, this was the mistake.

Who here can say this design was good?
For the past episodes we saw that big red trunk, but then they got there we find "that"?
I still have to think about some meaning, it's a thorax right? What this design could mean? However no matter what it can mean, it's a bit ugly and goofy looking, isn't threatening as it should be, right anons? Why not keep the other design, more simple, just a big tangled red trunk towering about them vanishing in the sky attacking with the branches and trowing some bugs? This way Rin and Wakaba could become overwhelmed by the superior number and then the dead sisters comes back to help and allow Rin an opening to finished the tree.

Besides this, I have no complaints.

I feel like they wasted a bit of time in earlier episodes while last episode should really be a two parter. It felt way too rushed and fight needed a lot of polish. It was too shonenish with how tree just took all those hits without really fighting back or just waited for them to talk.

Not really to be honest. The OP was neat though.

I thought it looked cool

I saw like 3 episodes when it was on air but life fucked me over like Kadoshit did with Tatsuki. Loved Kemurikusa and I already downloaded KF1 and plan on marathoning in the next days.

Very. Mysterious post apocalyptic landscapes devoid of people are great.
Cast grew on me very fast.

It all happened on gigantic alien spaceship that was stationed above Earth at first.
Wakaba was the captain and his mission was to preserve Earth's culture.
Humans weren't extinct yet but we got no clear info about what's going on down on Earth, only hints about possible catastrophe.
During the events of the series ship landed/crashed on Earth.

It holds a lot of top spots on most disliked/less liked episodes on NND, it's notable here because Kemono Friends 2 is likely going to break the record with it's last episode as episode 9 and 11 both got 2nd spot on the infamy ranking.
I remember some user on an earlier kf2 thread saying something along the lines that it was good but they "finished the series" and kept going making the last part some big clusterfuck

on the picture, 1 is good, 5 is bad

How the hell you deduced all that? Or its some infodump from the authors?

By watching the show.

>deduced
For starters rewatch episode 11 and read the subs this time.
Most of stuff from that post was outright stated by Wakaba.
Hints about possible catastrophe were broken copied buildings (already broken before red fog) and stuff like that.

By watching the show and maybe using a bit of brainpower.

They can grow a new Midori, right?

I want to fuck the Rinas. Also, why was was Rina and Nee-san pretending to have verbal tic?
Suck it.
They still have the giant midori a few island back.

Attached: Untitled-1.jpg (638x690, 59K)

It was nice but not up to Kemono Friends standards.

It's also obvious a lot of KF ideas were originally Kemurikusa ideas. I'm a bit worried for the future now. Really hoping Tatsuki is not a one trick pony.

>They still have the giant midori a few island back.
Didn't Ritsu say that tree was mostly dead?
Anyway it probably doesn't matter because ship is now fog free and Captain Wakaba can get shit from his grass and seed storage.

joysound.com/web/search/song/725126

I've got some practicing to do.

When Wakaba said he was "on a ship" he wasn't saying "haha, look at this silly little rowboat and bucket excavator xd". He was saying "We're on a SHIP" as in "jesus fuck look at the size of that thing"

Attached: ship size chart 2.jpg (800x450, 106K)

>standards
What are those standards?

Choke on these pancakes

Setting was worse, characters were worse, final was much worse. Still one of the best shows of the season but it really lacked the things that made KF a phenomenon.

> photo
Wait what? That's not the photo. This was the photo.

>it really lacked the things that made KF a phenomenon
A horde of one-note waifubait characters?

A character cannot be female and cute without being "waifu bait" to you, it seems

>Setting was worse
Not really. Post apocalyptic alien made hellscape >>> generic game world with 'stages' based on failed gatchashit with questionable world consistency
>characters were worse
Maybe if your idea of good characters is cute animal girls with flat personalities which is compensated by their large numbers to attract waifufags.
>final was much worse
Not even close, cute animal of the week shenanigans ended by standard ep11 despair, ep12 resolution stuff.
KK had much better buildup to finale. Finale itself dearly needs some animation polish though.

Are you really claiming in wasn't the case? Really?

What would have happened if the red root broke out of the ship? Asking for a friend.

How do you watch anime without picking up things that were stated?

That is a low res photo of a photo

absorb a ton of water and grow would seem the case, but if it would affect the world or not I'm not so sure, it doesn't even seem to have the motivation to leave the ship since it lives to destroy kemurikusa and that's contained within the ship.

It was made to destroy Kemurikusa right? It largely depends if outside of the ship had kemurikusa as well.

Probably nothing. Its only purpose was to eliminate Kemurikusa and there isnt any on Earth, presumably. Worst thing is that it would absorb a lot of water.

Are you really saying this while praising a boy meets a bunch of girls story?

>with flat personalities

Every personality in Kemurikusa was flat as fuck. I barely care about any of the characters.

Technically it's a boy meets a bunch of 1/6th of a girl story

No.

Attached: 15537142548442.png (1334x943, 1.23M)

Wbhere did they found the bed?

Earth

Honestly the finale was kinda meh, expected something bigger but it looks like they just straight up ran out of money.
Still no sassy roomba in ed too, 0/10.

>she sees the size of your ship

So you can't really argue your point?
Ok.
>boy meets a bunch of girls story
It's one girl split in few fragments. Also the story was much more than that even if the part your mentioned was the centerpiece.

Boy meets girl with a twist >>> gatchashit waifu advertisement #1357

To be fair the girl is a holodeck replica of a corpse split into many fragments representing various aspects and times of a girl so it's a Kemurikusa carol

>Kemurikusa vs Kemono Friends again
Come on now, Tatsuki is happy for what he managed to do here why do we have to argue about this?

Attached: 1553697507217.jpg (1920x1080, 178K)

If you think Irodori Kemono Friends is just as simple as that, then there's no point in this argument since you're trying your hardest to oversimplify everything and make it seem worse than it is.

Get used to that.
Kemurikusa had a lot of subtle hints and lets be honest, even many anons watching it would miss some if it wasn't for these threads.
Now others that will marathon finished series, without the aid of discussion after every episode will likely miss a lot and we're going to get much more of those posts.

>since you're trying your hardest to oversimplify everything and make it seem worse than it is
>boy meets a bunch of girls story
Looks like I'm not the only one.

These people can't enjoy things, everything must be an argument

Henna poozu Rin is right, seeing the success of KMKS was pretty soul cleansing towards my feelings of KF and now I just feel happy

Attached: 1552024686076.jpg (1366x768, 88K)

That will happen when people state opinion and claim them to be facts.

So that's why the nexon game was so popular, huh?

>all these same exact questions from anons
Please read the threads and actually watch the show

Attached: 1551918140957.jpg (860x966, 75K)

That's not how Kemurikusas work.

this picture makes me sad

She inhales before shooting off a blast.
Her blast already healed Wakaba in early episodes.
user meant probably that, but with kiss instead of green Midori laser.

It would absorb all waters on earth and take off to outer space to destroy all the kemurikusa in the universe. It's a universal threat.

What are you talking about?
Nexon game was shut down before S1 even started.

What? The one that died early?

Am I the only one who didn't found Wakaba to be annoying in the first place? For an enthusiast, getting his eyes sparkled for every new encounter is understandable, not to mention that he looks more reserved than expected for someone who is about to get killed after fresh into an unfamiliar place. Oh and the Rina rescue is badass too.

You really aren't.
Wakaba was great pleb filter.

You're not

No. He was great, reminded me of KF and all his developments just added on to his quality. Looking back on how he was in the first episodes now it makes even more sense and he just keeps growing on me.

I was annoyed from expecting that he would just be along for the ride as the exposition character, how he kept repeating the KININARU schtick, and in general the weirdly different vibe he brought to the show once he was introduced. I'm glad that not only did Tatsuki not fail to betray my expectations, the way he did it warped what I disliked into positives.

No, Animate Cafe

Probably my AOTS. The story and setting were really genuinely interesting, and the soundtrack was also amazingly well done.

FINDING MY LIFE IN THE KEMURIKUSA CAFE

>That one moment that was irrelevant but you loved for some reason.
What's yours user?
>Wakaba founds some Kemurikusa after finding the Rinas with Rin

>*Chomp*

Ah, just like KF1 cafe.

Good times.

I get the idea like Kemono Friends was Tatsuki's first attempt to tell this story, and since that was taken from him, he decided to simply go back and tell the originally conceived story so that he'd have ownership over it on a go-forward basis. We may even get more Kemurikusa, though I don't consider another anime season likely, we're probably looking at some Twitter shorts in the near future.

But yeah, I too wonder what we're going to see next. Those shorts with the oni and the kitsune are more reminiscent of Tesabu (which he was animation director on). I wouldn't at all mind a Tatsuki written-and-directed comedy, considering how funny Kemono Friends was at its best. He definitely knows how to capture the warm sentimentality that a good healing anime has. Kemono Friends episode 3 alone testifies to that.

i think both of Ritsu's poses are my favorite moments

Yeah, I liked that one too. Wakaba channeling Kanna.

If I had to think of something minor that I really loved I'd go with when Riri invented her apocalypse plant and Wakaba was frantically shifting back and forth between being amazed and being terrified.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou anime series directed by Tatsuki when?

Wakaba's curiosity about everything going so far that he wanted to know how it would feel to die, even though he was terrified of that thought at the same time was fun. There are a lot of enjoyable scenes to pick from though

How is the story? I liked the setting of episode 1 but the faggot and the quality of the cgi made me less interested and I haven't watched 2 yet but downloaded evreything. I think my main problem might actually be the faggot.

>186345529
If you can't even read a thread I think the main problem is you.

From zero to hero, mate.
You'll end up loving the faggot by the end.

>Wakaba is about to be crushed by a metal thing.
>Rin casually destroy it with one hand.

>the faggot
I still believe that more people would have loved Wakaba for acting like a KF character if he was a girl instead.

He grows on you, trust me.

He's not a faggot, he's a little kid who has more curiosity than common sense.

I still believe you and that faggot have to go back.

Well, of course. Overly genki girls are cute. Overly genki boys hit close to home on whatever faggots you remember being like that during your childhood or something.

Wakaba is basically Serval you know, just less stupid and less powerful

>^_^

Shiro was as great as Boss was.

Attached: 1495576147422.png (938x1000, 319K)

It gets better after few episodes and second half is good.

More NTRitsu

Attached: 1553729279696.jpg (581x850, 185K)

This isn't the KF thread. If you don't like the anime or the characters you're not obligated to stay here.

They could have maybe downplayed the kininaru just a little bit, but for the most part having someone who's interested in how all the weird stuff works was fun and I could relate.

But I wasn't saying I didn't like the characters user.

Sure he might be unfitting to the theme of the story but it will be the exact opposite later.
I for one who haven't watched KF yet had grown interest into watching it later because of how Tatsuki grew his male character into the actual center of the plot and characters.

The mole-less one is better but still like it.
Is this the look of the girls in S2?

Riri finally can try all kinds of Kemurikusa!

I liked Wakaba as a character practically right away, but hated his voice actor.

This made me wonder. Are their hair also red down there?

Body hair is the same color everywhere except for the hair on your head. Meaning that the color of eyebrows is the same as all the rest of it.
Anime keeps this concept from biology unchaged.

Yes.

Ask Tatsuki.

Wednesday yet?
