Her first appearance is all wrong, she's chatting way too amiably while trapped by the rain, she's responsive and comfortable like a human, she's sort of close for her first day at Shinji's house and first day of school but still too engaged with things, then she's gone by chapter 3, replaced by generic shy blue girl.
