I would actually watch a Xenoblade 2 anime. Like, one of those that were 52 episodes long back then, depicting a grand adventure to save the world. BotW references every Zelda game because the landmarks and locations are all named after things in the Zelda universe. EX: Mercay Island and Mikau Lake.

True enough, but those are just names on the map. I know it's cool references and all, but they're not mentioned by characters and no history is depicted behind those names (but of course Zelda veterans would know). That's why I put Ruto and Nabooru above, since they're directly referenced in the Zora's tablets, and by Urbosa.
