Watched it a week ago and i have mixed feelings. Didnt touch the novels and i dont plan to, so im gonna judge the anime only.
Started off nice as something more believable, then the Taiki arc hit which was a complete trainwreck in my opinion. Waste of time for unnecessary info dump and what was worst, that literally nothing happened. The rebellion arc was good again and then it ended with another waste of time exposition. If the anime was only 24 ep but only about the feMC's shenanigans it would be much better.

It's an isekai done right, so it's basically the only good isekai to ever be turned into an anime.
It focuses on world building and character development and keeps blatant self-insert wish fulfillment and fan service to a minimum. I just wish the author would finish the story line in the novels.

Yfw I tell you that Yuka was just a minor character at the beginning of the first novel and doesn't even get isekai'd in the books. She and the other guy are only there in the anime to externalize Youko's feelings and thoughts.
