Dropped Anime Thread

This is a thread about anime you have dropped for some reason and never managed to pick it back up again.

I'll start off, I dropped Log Horizon on episode 5. I got bored heavily and fell asleep through Episode 6 and never really felt compelled to pick it back up

same

Season 1 of log was good. Season 2 was log but turned into an accounting class. I had to drop it then

Great way to start off faggot OP, two can play at that game too. Dropped this piece of shit back in Episode 1

Attached: 71VGpYUzq5L._SY550_.jpg (424x550, 71K)

I mean at least the info dumps actually matter in SAO unlike Slog Horizon

just watched 1st episode of dagashi kashi, came to Yea Forums to asked about the plot and Yea Forums told me the plot's almost non-existent. can anyone confirm this?

It's true

I never read a statement more untrue and homosexual that this one.

A love triangle with candy ads

It is basically a "candy" of the week kind of show; there's continuity but basically nothing happens. If you want to read about some average people living in a small town just chilling, it is pretty good if not don't even bother and just read the doujins for the girls.

>Watch two seasons
>Drop the third after its first episode

Didn't even watch the first two faggot seasons

Why did you even try s3 kek

It's gag comedy about cheap Japanese snacks. Also delicious diabeetus girl or pettanko childhood friend if that's your thing.
It's good.

Great Teacher Onizuka
You're Under Arrest

seething

Dropped Attack on Titan after the first episode. Terrible

I watched maybe 7 episodes of the first season. Since it's gotten a second season I can only assume that it's been popular enough.

It's an odd show, as it had enough for me to watch halfway, but I just don't have the will to watch any more.
It felt somehow "homemade", with that opening sequence and the song that just sounds off, though that was just part of its charm I guess.

The characters didn't annoy me, and they weren't tiresome, but the situations were just kind of boring.

Is it worth picking up where I left off? I have it in the back of my mind that it's always there if I don't have anything else to watch.

Contrariwise, if there's an anime I wish I could have fucking dropped and dropped HARD it would have to be Gantz. Fuck that shit. I can't believe I struggled torrenting that shit back in the day,
It's been a decade, so I'm nearly over it.

Attached: 3dgrilcanoejoe.png (512x512, 247K)

Sakura Quest at around episode 15. I was enjoying it but I missed an episode and just never got round to catching up.

dropped this shit and almost dropped anime entirely when i saw this blow up the way it did.
it's a moderately dumb premise that looks to hook audiences with shock value. feels like it could have been saved with some good character writing, better pacing and the right amount of intrigue to keep you interested and guessing.
it is instead a story about a world where everything is bad and the plot twists are "also it gets worse". felt like generally flat characterization with no charm in a world where its themes and messages are inherently conflicting (spoiler: it has absolutely nothing to say about life in the military or nationalism or fascism or even the cost of war. it all exists to make you go "damn..."). you can tell it was written by a boring nerd and it is somehow both exhausting and boring at the same time.
its bad

Attached: AOT.jpg (1200x1800, 329K)

my guy

Well it changes its dynamic later in the manga

how so?
i hear it is very surprising when you find out the walls are built from titans. makes you go "damn..."

It's more about how the world works, what is outside the walls, how the system works, how the characters evolve (yes, it happens)...
These kinds of things.

At the beginning it was such a trainwreck that I couldn't help but having fun with it. But at some point it became too tame and boring and stopped watching.

When I drop a show is never because ragequit or something, is always because I start not being excited about the next episode each week any more. Not watching it inmediately the release day is the first symptom. If I acumulate 3 episodes without watching is terminal case. 4 episodes in my HD without watching is guaranteed drop-

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 124K)

yeah i dropped this after the first episode too. the entire "fight" was unforgivable. kirito, this "master" swordsman, who has at least SOME actual kendo training, has an umbrella in his hand against a dude with a short syringe. he goes for the leg. nani-the-fuck? nigga you have way more reach, and you go for his LEG?! you could swipe the syringe out of his hand, aim for his faggot face, aim for his SHOULDER to limit his reach, and a ton of other options. nah, im gonna poke his leg and let him hit me with this deadly syringe instead of keeping my distance or fighting with ANY semblance of intelligence.

also asuna constantly being this helpless damsel bitch. they built her up to be competent, and then immediately make her even more useless than princess peach.

reki kawahara is an AWFUL writer. sao part 1 was DECENT, but all of the rest of it is absolute garbage. also for part 1, they should have made the marriage inventory mystery episode actually MATTER to the plot in the last fight. kirito's sword breaks, asuna is immobile/dead, kirito should have used the shared inventory thing to pull HER sword into his hand mid swing for a surprise hit for the win. would have actually been glorious and given meaning to an otherwise wasted episode, AND given their relationship actual value.

OP is ADD brainlet confirmed

Started watching the very first SAO. Dropped it after 10 or so epsiodes, not the worst thing I've ever seen because I couldn't withstand any more how everyone behaved as if they were in a fantasy world and not as people trapped in a game.

Started to watch S2 despite never finishing S1 because I thought Sion was cute. Barely could finish the first arc (gungale) because then again because the writting in my opinion didn't fit the plot. They kept writting characters from fantasy worlds for characters that is supposed to be people in a game. Actually was even worse because this time there wasn't even the "trapped in the game" factor.

The only series that I managed to finish was Gungale Alternative and was because even if it had its flaws at least people acted like players of a game most part of the time. Also. LLENN was cute

Attached: __llenn_and_sinon_sword_art_online_alternative_gun_gale_online_and_etc_drawn_by_bibi__ecc4276add5ae6 (1200x1500, 578K)

Jesus, I remember this, is one of the worst anime I've watched, I still don't know how I finished it. IF I remember it well there was some actual sex in one of the last episodes. Same with 11 eyes.

We complain a lot about LN adaptation nowdays, but when I start remember all those terrible VN adaptations from the early 2000s I think we live good times.

Didn't really feel it. Dropped it when we learned about Kiritsugu blasting the plane that had his mother figure inside into smithereens.

Attached: ANZX-9441.jpg (500x698, 98K)

Jesus why are seething over me dropping a show I found boring?

jojo
couldn't get through part 1 and i'm not someone who "skips parts" it's all or nothing for me so now i just pretend i've seen it after reading summaries of parts because i hang out with autists who are in love with it and want to fit in

Hyouka and polar bear cafe are the only anime that I dropped within the first episode. Unbearably boring.

I think I left off on episode 6. I get bored when they focus on the galge. Please tell me there’s less focus on the galge shit.

Attached: 036972B3-7F50-43CD-AD20-9DEF1274945E.jpg (1000x1000, 152K)

>Unbearably boring
Nice one

First season is pretty bad. Second season is actually a big improvement and I find it to be enjoyable enough. Plot was predictable but satisfying. I don't know if I'd really recommend it though.

Of the series I've dropped the only ones I wished I liked more are NNB and GuP considering they both have sequels and seem similar to a lot of things I like.
I gave them around 6 episodes though so feel like I gave them enough of a chance.

Attached: 1530168798095.png (1280x720, 1.78M)

Couldn't get through episode 3. I refuse to believe anyone over 5 years old can enjoy this failed abortion.

Attached: trash.jpg (1280x720, 126K)

Dropped this one during the Lizard Arc. God it was fucking dumb. You literally cannot justify it and don't give me "read the fucking LNs faggot" sort of shit. Some semblance of a good storytelling can always translate into the anime no matter how awful of an adaptation it is.

Attached: overlord-ii-0102.jpg (1920x1080, 808K)

You must be another SAOfaggot. Fuck off back to your cancerous toxic taste.

>Please tell me there’s less focus on the galge shit.
From what I recall that pretty much should have already gone by episode 6. It was a pretty minor part of the series anyway.
I didn't care much for the MMO focus it went to at one point but still thought the series was great overall.

Attached: NHK.jpg (704x2422, 229K)

Do you ever just get tired of being triggered user? It's not good for your health.

Attached: 1552354511086.png (2718x1224, 177K)

Sleep like a Log Horizon

Dropped shakugan no shana 18 episodes in. Holy fuck was I bored to tears. Although I’m curious because its got 3 seasons so does it get any better?

Not really, the novels are far better because it DOESN'T reset their relationship each goddamn season.

I'm 4 or 5 episodes behind in Reincarnated as a Slime and have no interest in finishing it. There's no tension and the characters are all boring as shit. I have no idea why everyone i know irl that's into anime is sucking this shows dick so hard

yeah shield hero and all this other shit doesn't interest me at all even though i want to like it so much. 10/10 idea for me but 1/10 execution

Dropped Overlord at season 3. It's just so fucking bloated with characters and plot lines

Thanks. I'll keep it on the backburner for a rainy day.

I mean I haven't really watched SAO. I might watch it this week actually now that you've brought it up.

I still don't know why I watched the whole thing through. The MC is awful and it didn't even have any good girls in it like Gab Dropout did to keep my watching

I dropped Meadaka Box anime because the blue haired girl just went around fixing everything and I was fucking bored out of my mind.

Attached: 1525674264663.jpg (1280x720, 95K)

Uzamaid, I dropped it because the characters felt annoying and unlikable. Of the shows I watched last season, it was the only one I dropped.

Ancient magus bride would be a more recent example for me.
And its a shame, because I actually liked Elias alot and some of his interactions with the lead girl. I've read the first 4 or so volumes of the manga, watched the ova and half the anime but it never seemed like it fully tapped into its world and would go nowhere, there was this attempt to mix slice of life with a bigger plot with an evil magician but neither really gelled.
I read Yotsukunai no shoujo which people mention alot when talking about Magus bride and I think that achieves everything Magus bride doesn't.

Attached: 9781626921924_books-The-Ancient-Magus-Bride-GN-02-primary.jpg (702x1000, 881K)

*totsukunai

What sort of plot were yo uexpecting, candy takign over the world and fighting alien candies or what.

I liked the OST, but yeah I liked the manga way more.
youtu.be/IEik52J0Um0

I drop over 90% of everything I watch. There's a point when you realize most anime isn't really written for sane adults. I guess my dopamine circuits are fried, cute girls alone are not enough to carry the current generation of shows we are getting.

I decided to mention magus bride, mostly because an "eh" show that I don't connect to is sometimes more disappointing than a terrible one.
Its actually probably good, it just left me not feeling it.

the anime really covers the worst part of it

Actually, I tried this season without watching the previous two because people couldn't shut up about how it's the only good season of SAO and doesn't require you to have watched S1 and 2. To be honest, I'm find it to be fairly enjoyable so far.

Wasn't for me, just felt too Otomeshit for me.

Attached: k.jpg (1440x750, 274K)

this also +1

>Watch Gunslinger Girl
>Vastly enjoy it
>Get to season 2
>Kawaii uguu and fuckboys everywhere instead of people looking dead inside
Dropped on episode 2.

Attached: file.png (640x570, 527K)

Attached: black-clover-1-300x450.jpg (300x450, 39K)

picked up

I was reading the LN and dropped it a bit after the lizard arc. Completely drained me, Will probably watch it later but im skipping the lizard arc when I do.

The Soultaker. Drop in episode 10 of 12. It was so... pretentious and boring. It felt like one of those works that tries so hard to be unique and creative.

Found the first 2 seasons rather boring and bullshit how they keep resetting the relationship. Dropped it several times before finishing it. Season 3 was pretty great, focused alot on the romance and action, which is what I always wanted out of the show and the previous two seasons lacked

Watched the first and second episodes of Code Geass and the dropped it.

Dropped Gotoubun by episode 5
Fuck that overrated garbage

I dropped KLK like 4 or 5 episodes in a week or two ago I think. Didn't really like the art style, characters, or premise much

Dropped this as soon as the pink rabbit soloed a team of army trained soldiers

Attached: resize_image_a9b51e21-972a-4ac8-a771-2c4ede33989c_1024x1024.jpg (637x800, 82K)

S...so you didn't drop it?

Kumagawa was the sole reason that manga survived to get an end, and the anime stopped right as they introduced him.

Bunny senpai after 3 or 4 episodes, the other arcs were supposedly even worse than the first so why bother.
New Boogiepop after the first arc, not a good adapttion.

No,but I'm still at episode 8. Does it get worse later or something?

stfu faggot and get over the fact that not evryone likes the same shit shows as you and some people want to watch their own shit shows. fuck me not even an argument, just you seething through user fucking boards where you may aswell dig a hole and shout into that

Shinsekai Yori. Started getting weird when they get lost in episode 5-6 or so, dropped at episode 8 when the show takes a hard left and turns into a yoai/yuri shitfest. What the fuck is that show even?

Also dropped Gate. Can't remember what episode, but it was right around the time they head back from the real world and go back to the gate world after they testify. No idea why I dropped it, just got bored I guess.

Dropped Baki, the netflix series. Literally never dropped something so hard in my entire life. Basically skipped the entire 5th episode with the skip button, watched 3 minutes into episode 6 and dropped. What a shit anime holy fuck.

Attached: 62432423.jpg (1160x652, 192K)

Read the manga, that is all I can tell you, read the manga, its one of the most powerful things I've ever read.

I really want to unwatch this, I saw it when it was airing when I was younger, when I look back on it, its humiliating and embarrassing to acknowledge that I got anything out of it.

I can't jive with triggers style, it all feels incredibly obnoxious.

Did you seriously watch all of that episode and expect some wild overarching plot. You're fucking retarded.

Are you me?

gonna take that as a yes

Haruhi after 5 episodes. Shits boring as fuck.

Honestly I watched through the entirety of the anime and was actually excited for season 4. There is just no conflict in this show. All of Ainz's minions are overpowered as hell and just dwarf everything the new world can through at them with no effort at all. When your fucking minions can BTFO every living organism on the planet with minimul effort, and the MC can BTFO all of his minions, how does a story like that progress? There is no tension. There is no excitement. It's literally just Ainz dicking around being a fucking straight god all the time.

I read a bit into the light novels and it never changes. Ainz literally casts grasp heart and instantly kills a dragon, one of the most powerful creatures in the new world. Ainz is basically playing with cheats on. At least introduce a being on a similar scale for him to fight holy shit.

accurate

Came here to post this. Keep trying to go back and finish it for the sake of finishing it, but I always give up halfway into the episode.

This so much, barely managed to finish the first episode. Been debating whether or not I should push on anyways since the first season was so damn good

I'll bite
GTO is kinda MEH.
But disliking You are under arrest? Well I guess that maybe it hasnt aged well and that you are somewhat a newfag. You are under arrest is a comfy series about some traffic police daily life. Its form a time in which a series could be done without so much otaku pandering and fan service. Its a jewel from another era.
Most of what we get now (like 95%) is scantly dressed or seminude teenagers saving the world, isekai, or poorly executed adaptations.
Yep, times are different now, so maybe you just dont understand oldies.

Not consciously. I was following it till episode 6 then just forgot all about it.

Same

>i got bored
because it's boring

Even without him, Zenkichi provided way more entertainment on his own than any of the other characters.

I honestly didn’t understand the whole “ItZ bEtTeR tHaN tHe AcTuAl SaO” sentiment. It was pretty boring and felt even more cheap and bullshit than anything the first two season did.

the plot sucks, the only reason it was fun to watch is because of Hotaru and shes gone for most of the second season anyways

Inuyashiki. Too edgy.

>Atom: The Beggining
I thought a prequel to Astroboy could be nice, but it was pretty much just an episodic show that wasn't really fun or interesting at all, and had a very kiddy feel. I finally decided to dropped it when they showed that the other robots were CGI.
The opening was great though
youtube.com/watch?v=TBnKskhr1x4
>Chaos;Child
I already started disliking it from the start due to too much technical mumbo jombo being spewed at an extremely fast paced rate, then I finally decided to drop it when they suddenly made the protagonist's best friend kill his imouto for shock's sake.
>JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3
I just saw no incentive to watch it when I had already read the manga since they killed the pacing by making the whole part slower than it should be.

That one anime with the two girls that's basically made of fucking memes and is always posted on her as reaction images. I don't get it, and I don't care to.

>One Punch Man, second to last / last episode (can't remember - fell asleep, stopped caring really after episode 2)
>some sort of fighting anime my best friend told me to watch, stopped after first episode - just didn't care at all

>some sort of fighting anime my best friend told me to watch,
BAKI, that's what it was.

konosuba?

No, one is like short and fat, the other is like skinny and tall.

fufufu~ Momonga a Shit.

Attached: ChadDiablo.png (2518x1024, 170K)

Boku no Hero Academy I dropped it at episode 43 but I don't know if I can get back into it.

Attached: ad4e769a-61ce-44ae-81f9-9e6c032c0dc7.png (400x400, 197K)

the art style of this makes me puke & the story is boring and obnoxious at times, the pizza hut commercial was probably the best thing in it.

Attached: 9lgnJWOFzl_P-NU2w1IJ02coI32TB6lEFiOZ6BDFGulHr7zMIOl03DEPopcyKM7NoPbgkb9JwGOvNdoSHiNlb7y7RHC0u2RGDOqS (2881x4099, 1.95M)

>Silver Spoon
I found out that the anime ended before it adapted the whole series, so I read the manga instead
>Hunter x Hunter
I got bored the 8 billionth time Togashi subverted my expectations by having characters act like retards for no reason
>Dragon Maid
the premise and first few episodes are pretty amusing but they felt too samey after awhile

Part 1 is just 9 episodes and you really only need to know about Dio for Part 3. Just skip to Part 2 user

this. If anything part 3 is a worse slog. The best part of part 1 is Johnathan vs. Tarkus and that's 22% of the run time

I dropped Mawaru Penguindrum around 5 episodes in
It just wasn't clicking with me

Attached: Princess.of.the.Crystal.full.660760.jpg (720x800, 173K)

The plot and characters are all stupid. You should only watch it if you dig the aesthetic. I found it enjoyable for that reason.

Marie & Gali. I picked it up because I was looking through random 2009 shows, where my top 2 anime, Bakemonogatari and K-On, aired, and the synopsis said gothic lolita. I dropped it because it was fucking stupid.

Attached: Bootleg Heartcatch Precure.jpg (1280x720, 56K)

Same. Exact same episode range too. I liked the survival strategy parts a lot but I just didn't get invested enough.

Forgot why I dropped it.
Maybe I'll give it another shot someday.

Attached: daughter of 20 faces.jpg (360x360, 18K)

I kept with it because even though it was pretty much the worst anime ever, I barely payed attention to it and whe I did, I was in and out of consiousness. I usually just left it playing while I did other shit so I could look up and see hilariously bad anime. Baby goats, who the fuck thought that was okay?

Honestly? It's not good. It's decent, maybe, but besides the fact that she has a massive daddy complex the premise isn't original, and it's not executed well either. I remember liking it because of its aesthetic but early 2000s had plenty of shows set in a similar time era with blimps and shit.

GTO is pretty good, fag. But you're right about YUA.

Why is Japan so obsessed over Jeanne D'Arc?

mob psycho after ep5
I don't know why I expected a ONE "comedy" to be funny
also the actual plot was just babby's first superman

>dropping series

Attached: domo.jpg (651x720, 89K)

why is that user?

Dropped this show two episodes before the finale, and even watching that far was a mistake. Between the dropped plot threads, character arcs being resolved then UN-resolved and repeated, and a plot that bragged about how fast it moved despite nothing changing the story in any important way, I realized I was watching the anime equivalent of a cartoon man laying down train tracks as the train was running along it. The writers clearly didn't care where they were taking the story, so why should I?

Attached: ryuko_matoi__the_life_fiber_hybrid_by_yellowflash1234-d8rnayx.jpg (625x658, 103K)

I got a list, but it just comes down to boring ass shows. This season's were Boggiepop and Girly Air Force.

>didn't watch until the end
>complains about unresolved plots

A special kind of retard I see.

>and a plot that bragged about how fast it moved despite nothing changing the story in any important way

Oh yeah, the revelations who Ryuko is, her sister, the aliens, the truth about the school, and all the different characters didn't change the story in any way.

God, it's just Kill La Kill, brainlet.

Probably never watched any other Gainax or Trigger anime in your fucking life. Also I can't imagine you watching ANY psychological anime or non-linear story. Your brain must be fucked beyond repair.

It isn't anything like that, user. Sorry you are too stupid.

Get past part 1. It's just 9 episodes. the ending was a nice way to end their character arcs. Part 2 is just a lot of fun.
I really hope you didn't watch it in chronological order.

Texhnolyze was great the first 6 or so episodes and just was teetering on the edge of mediocrity after. Dropped it once the gang war started.

Nana I dropped a long time ago around episode 22 or 25 not sure exactly where

Boogiepop phantom (the first one) I dropped because it was a bit too creepy for me.

Jinrui, I'm stuck on episode 9 for the past year or so. I might continue it or just drop it all together.

This past season was Dororo and Asuka. I stopped watching them because I just lost interest.

Attached: 1544314429798.jpg (1280x720, 51K)

oh yeah I forgot it's also about being yourself or something

I dropped hinomaru sumo after the first episode, i lost the inteterest back on the day.

I'm currently downloading the episodes and I plan to binge watch it the next weekend.

Attached: tumblr_pg9d7cnvje1x3g63go1_500.gif (500x281, 2.34M)

Watch part III and IV, they are way more interesting that phantom blood and battle tendency.

Decided to watch it when controversy started episode one was meh but set nice tone and then boredom came along with moe bulshit, boring character, autistic MC,no story, clusterfuck of worldbulding, CG for mc and awful animation. It wasn't bad but it was boring as fuck with is even worse i can still enjoy some bad anime but not boring one, also it didn't help that there were a lot of better anime that season

Attached: bc1f11fdfba8e8a41f84543c43582d1e.jpg (444x640, 95K)

How were you not hyped for the Texhnolyze gang war? The show just builds and builds with each episode as the city goes to hell

I dropped Hajimite no Gal halfway into episode one. Every single character was just a terrible stereotype, and the fan service was just more obnoxious than anything else. I know a lot of people dropped it after episode 9 for the ntr thing or whatever it was, but honestly, i have no fucking clue why anyone would watch this show after the first episode.

I could never get over Kamina, dropped Gurren at episode 8 or 9. It got too real for me. I also never saw the entirety of death note since I had already seen the live action movies so the anime felt like a recap. I'm missing the mafia arc and have only watched some spare important episodes like L's death and the last one.

>Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

I just don't get it. I found it gay. Really, really homosexual to the point the gayness just obliterates everything else. I've watched hardcore gay pornography because I'm a deviant motherfucker, but this? This is beyond my acceptable limits. Watching multiple men fuck eachother up the ass is somehow less gay than this whole goddamn anime. I found the whole experience incredibly offputting.

>Texhnolyze

It's been a while, but I remember it being boring and eventless.

>Darling in the Franxx

I was sick of it halfway through the first episode. Evangelion ripoff.

Same for Hyouka, way too boring. I also dropped Dog and Scissors for the same reason.

Attack on titan. Because Eren turned out to secretly have titan powers, and there's others like him, and then turned out someone else in his little circle of friends was a titan, and then that guy as well, and that guy too, and that girl, and they instigated the attack on the wall, and there's other super secret titans out there, and they have special abilities, and then the wall was titans as well, and then yet ANOTHER girl in their little group turned out to be the super secret true leader of humanity whose throne got usurped and her lineage had super secret super titan powers and they can alter memories but also it can't alter mikasa's memories because she is nihongonese ubermensh last of her kind part of super DUPER secret lineage also this one guy we met earlier is too also there's humans behind the wall also also also yada yada ya.
The stupid twists and reveals just kept going and going and going and I just got sick of it. I just wanted an action/horror story about humans trying to eke out a living in the apocalypse by the skin of their teeth and using their RIGHTEOUS FURY to battle the oncoming end but I guess that was too much to ask for. Prime example of a series going stupid in that special way only the Japanese seem capable off.

samurai champloo. i still listen to the ost but the show was so boring i couldn't get through it

I don't even know why, I just lost interest one episode and never managed to pick it back up.

Forgot pic

Attached: Violet-Evergarden-Extra-Episode-Netflix-1.jpg (1280x720, 73K)

Same man, it just felt dumb and not in a good dumb fun sort of way. And aside from the loli rabbit, I forgot about the other characters.

>Not dropping shit you don't want.

Gun gale the game actually sucks. How is that fair that some players can get outright better avatars than other players. LLenn is op as fuck.

Shit taste.

This, but for Toradora, also 18 episodes in. It's a miracle I lasted even that long. Never trusting you, faggots, again, even with yearly rewatches and all that.

>boogiepop was to creepy for me
>dropped nana and texnolize
You could`ve said that you are a faggot from The start.....

>Hurr durrr i want muh zombies whats this politica drama bullshit, wtf parallels with nazis and shit
Fucking brainlets everytime....

I dropped manga just few weeks ago because it just got boring after main character went to that magic school.

i appreciate your effort to write this up because i agree

This is one of those series that boys turned out to be better than girls.

>they are way more interesting that phantom blood and battle tendency
Fuck no. Stands ruined the whole fucking series and it is obvious that Araki have no interest to keep any kinda rules in stands and just makes up bullshit stuff that looks "cool".

They have a weird relationship with most Christian symbolism.

I read the LN and I honestly couldn't get further than the sewer episode. I had recommended it some people and understood why they also dropped it. I think the lack of a narrator really hurt the adaptation.

Does stopping a series after completing a season count? Because I never got around to watching S2 or 3 of Attack on Titan and the more hear about what happens and the direction the story goes, the less I feel like picking it back up.

Pretty much

The melodrama annoyed the shit out of me. Specially with how much of a shitbag the MC was

Same, i couldn't get past the MC screeching, it really looks like an interesting show but good god i waited to see if it would go away, even asked others if it did after i dropped it, they said 'you get used to it' honestly why i just dropped it and don't plan to pick it back up ever, you shouldn't have to get used to a MC being annoying to that extent

I dropped both Log Horizon and Overlord.
Its really hard to make isekai series boring but those two did it.
Though Overlord I watched the entire first season because Albedo was worth it.

it was the most fun I had with Yea Forums. Each episode was a new trainwreck and all we could was to enjoy it to death.

>hurr durr army trained soldier are better than normal players

No you fucking retard.
Just because you are amazing at snowboarding in real life doesnt mean you will be amazing at snowboard games.
If you use your brain for a second you will realize the difference between playing a game and real life.
Also she beat them mainly because she is a extremely fast dwarf in the game, which should make no sense for real life experience anyway.

I never feel "compelled" to pick up anime I dropped.

I dropped them for a reason, you dip shit.

God, what is it with you idiots and the idea that you have to watch as many anime as possible

Because there are circumstances in which might have changed your mind you fucking retard. People aren't static.

Pop Team Epic

Except the anime already said that IRL skills translate heavily into pro skills in-game too so this is a moot point

Dropped Naruto on episode 3.

Welcome to the NHK: Came in expecting a take on depression and isolation; what i got was the most pathetic and embarassing depiction of 'em that i could've imagined. Shit show.

Steins;Gate: I just got tired of the ridiculous eccentricism and childishness of both the series itself and the characters. "B-but it gets better after X episodes!".

Tsuritama: I remember not even finishing the second episode for how bad they were.

Dropped One Piece after they defeated Doflamingo. Haven't watched since

dropped it after the crocodile arc. i really liked it but I just burnt out

I enjoyed the first part very much, but in the second part I was so lost in the plot that I couldn't care anymore.

Pretty much the same reason I dropped .hack//SIGN. I'd rather something be terrible than boring

Dropped the anime at Fishman island keep trying to make myself pick up the manga again
I Read punk hazard it might be the Time skip designs or maybe it's just the ark but puck hazard didn't do much for me

its still out of my mind to this day how people can dislike dagashi

>Steins;Gate: I just got tired of the ridiculous eccentricism and childishness of both the series itself and the characters. "B-but it gets better after X episodes!".

imagine having this shit taste

>I'd rather something be terrible than boring
Yeah pretty much this

I was just tired of the same routine over and over again. I'll probably pick it up again but I just finished Run with The Wind so I'm still feeling over that

I watched it through. If 1/2 of show is slow and stupid, it doesn't matter how good other 1/2 is.

What I find stupid is how they change stuff but then can't change autist girl's death. It's like "free will, but nah determinism".

Ideally you are able to take the story past the usual surface level power level garbage to shine the spotlight on what story elements actually matter. Admittedly that doesn't happen often if ever but that is the idea.

How do you draw a conclusion he's an SAO fan? Autistfag

Dropped because because the pretentious rambling and head tilts and the violent bitch

Autism

I'd rather enjoy something than be bored all the way through it.

I dropped it 8 episodes in, that pacing just felt fucked

Redpill me on dropping shows. I pretty much force myself through everything even if I don't like it.

Couldn't fucking stand the mc screeching. Waited a couple of months to watch fights on jewtube. Everything was shit.

Who wouldn't love an over glorified cheerleader?

I dropped MPD after I found out that the cute pink-hair girl in the op is a guy

I enjoyed the second ep of first season, it was dumb but cool. It gets worse with time, second season was barely bearable, third made me drop it halfway. Shit characters, shit plot, shit 'animation'.

MC needs to be special snowflake, so almost every VRMMO in animu or mango is retarded, unbalanced piece of shit that would never get greenlit without major changes.

Yuri shit is one of the dystopian elements of their society. It's pretty funny that it manages to piss off both sides.

But that doesn't explain why Kirito had to be so autistic that he power levelled all through Aincrad just to survive.

I have dropped so many fucking shows. I'll just do the ones from this season.
>After 1 episode
Ueno-san, not into that. Wateten, not into lolis who are actual children or a fat college drop out who is. Virtual-san, somebody recommended it as being really funny but I didn't laugh once.
>After 3 episodes
Endro! It is the most watered down, 4 girls moe show with just nothing interesting going on. People say the demon lord loli makes the show worth it, just like Satania did for Gabdrop, but not enough for me.
>After 4 episodes
Domestic na Kanojo and Neverland. They started out strong but lost my attention really quick.

Attached: 1548731701086.png (1200x1078, 932K)

Because despite what people claim. Everything that Kirito has ever done can be done by someone else, he just had a specific traits that did it faster

>starts out with an interesting first episode, dude wants to unlock the secrets of alchemy and loses his youth over it
>gets a pretty cute fairy companion
>also 30yr war setting, sounds kinda cool
>second episode
>lmao now he's a spit dispenser to power up Jannu by kissing
OK.

Dropped this after the first episode. It was just so boring i couldnt bring myself to continue.

Tbqh the way she's drawn makes her look genuinely autistic.

Enjoyed both but part 1 was definitely better. S2 loses some its charm especially in animation and look. I think it went down by the time of the later part of the second season with the confusing conclusion.

people say neverland's adaptation is good but it doesn't really feel right to me either even though its covering the best part of the manga so i stopped watching it too. great op though

also isn't it even worse since he's based off a real life pedofile or something?

The childhood friend is best girl.

i really hate that character type though and she's what made me drop it in the first place

She's not as awful as the white haired slut but that's not saying much.

She and the little sister is the only reason why I haven't dropped the manga really

Dog Days, I didn't really like it that much. It just felt unfocused

HxH 2011 after like 35 episodes. I just wanted to see some cool nen shit but they kept explaining it like it's some deep pseudo intellectual bullshit.

Gave Seven Deadly Sins a shot, got bored with the constant power escalation/inconsistencies, like characters that were introduced with a rad and busted power could barely beat the same guy they beat last time but now on drugs.

because they want to make you feel like this thing existed for pretty much anybody relevant and they only learn about it recently, it stops after and chimera arc does live up to the hype

I didnt really feel like slogging through another 40 episodes for the payoff. Watching the meruem fight and Gons transformation on jootube was enough for me.

I dropped that show after literally sleeping when I was watching it. Seriously, I was never bored to the point of sleeping by any anime before, it's quite a feat.

Good taste

Nah you just have the attention span of a toddler.

I wish more anime series would just adapt every bit of monologue that the MC has.

Promised Neverland.
Dropped after ep 1.
Hate the designs, know how manga goes and I feel like I'm the one person who doesn't like this series.

I agree with everything your saying, but the show changes to a sort of suspense drama around season 2 and onward. I think it gets a lot better.

AoT and Zombieland Saga. dropped AoT a while ago, forgot why i did, think i just got bored. pretty sure i dropped it somewhere around the female titan being introduced?
ZS was amusing at first but it got boring real quick. lost the humor and kinda stopped caring about it.
