Its overrated
Jojos
OP here, I love cock and cum in my mouth btw, not sure if that matters
I don't see the appeal of the show beside the memes desu
>quints
I would say part three is overrated. That doesn't mean it's bad, just that it's overhyped.
I much preferred the first two parts of the anime.
We are talking about just the anime, right?
>I would say part three is overrated. That doesn't mean it's bad, just that it's overhyped.
nobody thinks part 3 is that good, at least not in comparison to the rest of the series, no idea where the fuck this claim comes from
It's definitely one of the better shonen series of the past few decades with only One Piece and HxH coming anywhere close imo
That part is (part 3). I was willing to overlook the monster of the week for the tarot because there was a finite amount but then they introduced the "egyptian god" stands which just felt like even more padding.
I did finish it, and DIO was a huge disappointment but the characters and some of the fights were pretty nice. It also showed that Araki did do some research for the series.
Steel Ball Run > Diamond is Unbreakable > Vento Aureo > Jojolion > Battle Tendency > Stone Ocean > Stardust Crusaders > Phantom Blood
Part 2 and 3 are definitely overrated.
Part 1 is correctly rated, Part 4 is underrated, and Part 5 is correctly rated.
Narancia best boy, fite me
Explain your Stand in this format:
>name
>what it does
>how it does it
>range
>general design/appearance
quints don't lie, guys. Deal with it.
Part 5 is trash.
>Best character in part 2
I mean, it sounds like you'd enjoy the series, really.
SHUT UP DIO!
>Name
Heartbreak Hotel
>What it does/How it does it:
Makes anyone it attaches to a virgin. If they are not a virgin upon contact with the stand they will have the sexual and psychological state of a virgin and will never have sex again. Once it detaches, you still are a virgin for life. The stand can be passed to others through touching a willing females breast then touching the target with the same hand.
>Range:
Infinite, it follows you around and is a parasitic stand like Cheap Trick
>General design/appearance
is a fat vaguely neckbeard/otaku looking guy with a kekistani symbol as his head
>gets btfo by russians
lmao
kek
JoJo got big when Part 3 got animated but it's still just anime fan only thing. I can't walk into wal-mart and get a Star Platinum shirt.
JoJo will never be big in the West. The only anime peeps in the west care about is nostalgic ones like dragonball, naruto, etc..
It's not even very big in Japan anymore either as all Japs like are Isekai/moei stuff atm. A big reason Stone Ocean was unpopular in Japan is it had a girl main character who wasn't a blushing loli with giant boobies. Shonen as a whole though is dying in Japan, beyond ones designed for small children and with lots of legacy readers like one piece.
No
>op has shit taste
what a waste of quints
It has the greatest villains
I though the same thing op until I actually watched the anime.
>muh memes shared by bugmen
forced jokes arent funny and, even though part 2 was the only good one, I could still get enjoyment from the anime
>and DIO was a huge disappointment
How? His fight was the best part
go watch your BHA little fag
I like Stardust Crusaders' 100% accurate depiction of India
I was super hesitant to watch this series because of how lame the fanbase is
Everything is a fucking JoJo reference, look how cool the characters are etc.
But then a few months ago a good friend of mine told me it was actually good, so I decided it deserves a go from me
Part 1 was pretty good, a little bit cheesy and dated but I thought it was decent enough.
Part 2 ended up making it one of my favorite anime of all time. What a fucking ride it was, the pacing was incredible, and kept me binging through the entire thing.
By the time it was over, my expectations were through the roof. "If the first 2 parts were this good, I can't imagine where the series goes from here"
Fuck Part 3, jesus christ what a slog it was. I was close to writing a literal blog here about part 3 but I decided to save it and compose it into something more thought out. Thats how much I disliked part 3, I'm now planning on writing an actual paper on it.
I'll just sum it up by saying its the most formulaic anime I've ever watched, monster of the week by the number, featuring 3 out of 5 of the main cast and a character development void.
Part 4 seems pretty decent so far from what I've watched, definitely a step up. Overall the series is popular because of it's memes, definitely overrated but what popular series isn't?
I'm on episode 10 of part three so far. Honestly at this point I'm just wondering if they're ever going to learn to double tap the villains while they're down instead of just assuming they're already defeated.
> Part 1 was pretty good, a little bit cheesy
It's always been cheesy as fuck. One of the first major villains Jojo faces in the series is a pair of knights who went and got themselves killed in an overdramatic but ultimately hilariously stupid way. There's also the ridiculous character designs and poses they're constantly striking. The series is corny as hell and that's what makes it so great.
I wish araki didnt shelve hamon and joesph and kept the jojo name gag simple none of this GioGio(jojo) nonsense. Dissapointed he dropped the joestar name as well.
Wow OP you're such a faggot
I miss her.
Like your mom.
>featuring 3 out of 5 of the main cast and a character development void.
Yet you liked part 2 kek
Sure, but it's still good.
7 > 8 > 5 > 4 >second half part 3 > 2 > first half part 3 > 6 > 1
