I'm not saying they don't deserve those sales, but there are many factors that decide a series success, like marketing, brand loyalty, how much it hardens the dicks or wets the vulvas of the losers watching, etc

You would have a point if we were talking about a single anime. But those studios have proven, across multiple series that they are better than bones.

I buy what I like that's on sale and ignore whats sold by aniplex because it's at least 5x the cost of a reasonable bd collection, even if it's way better than average animation.

Did I speak too fast for you shounenteen? I'll say it again, this time in more detail. People are much more willing to shell out their money if a certain piece of media has moved them in some way, be it animation, story, or characters. A studio has a job to make a product as attractive as possible for people to buy. The studios listed above Bones are studios that, on a consistent basis, move get enough people interested in their product that they would actually shell out a large sum of money to buy it for their collection. Bones on the other hand fail at this on more than half of their productions. That means, plain and simple, that their products are inferior. Therefore, they are inferior to those said studios.

A number of the animators of OPM S1 were from Bones.

Too much CGI. Mob has none.

A grand total of one animator that did animation for OPM S1 is permanently employed at Bones. The vast, vast majority of stand-out animators were free-lance.

You should have at least posted the Levi chase scene (which actually had good animation). This one is just plain mediocre.
