It was implied that Hashirama was able to stop Kyubi because his Mokuton countered him, but the actual fight had him do shit more that was more ridiculous than anything the Kyubi had done until that point.

He sure would get killed by the next few members on a normal day, but peak Orochimaru is above peak anyone else

2 - Tobi
I don't thing I need to say much, Tobi had two eye hax and magic ninja jesus powers

3 - Pain
Rinegan, six path powers, could fight 6 tails naruto, maybe 7, I don't remember

4 - Itachi
The fucking eye hax, all the things he could do with them put him AT LEAST this high

4 - Kisame
This is were things start to get tricky, but Kisame won against Killer B, who was probably one of the top 3 strongest by the time of his introduction, who had Sasuke needing to be saved by his teamates so he wouldn't. Beating B is a huge deal, I don't see anyone below this level doing it

6 - Deidara
Had Sasuke running, killed Gaara, and was probably the smarter in the whole akatsuki. Lke Orochimaru, he would probably get killed by the ones below, but with the level of strategic planing and showed on his fight with Gaara and Sasuke, he definitely can outsmart them

5 - Kakuzu
Had Kakashi was going to die in his fight against him, he fought Hashirama, he could only be defeated by Naruto when he made the first jutsu that used both nature and shape manipulation jutsu in ninja history

6 - Sasori
Power creep is probably to blame for him to be this low, he died early on, we didn't even got to see his full potential, and a few chapters latter on the the things we saw were way above what he pulled in his fight against Sakura

7 - The rest
Hidan was decaptated in two secs by Azuma, Konan only got in the team because she is Pain's friend, Zetsu isn't a fighter
