I don't really understand why people are so obsessed with revisiting series in order to ruin them.
Whether it has aged well or not is irrelevant, what matters is the memory of how I felt when I was watching it.

I really liked it until the end. The part where Taiga leaves for a whole year without telling anyone on the night where she was supposed to have dinner with Ryuuji and his mom, completely blowing him off after everything was seemingly resolved. was really shitty. I get why she left but it was handled very poorly. I've heard it's better in the LN, and while I've only read the first two volumes, everything I found obnoxious about the anime is mostly absent. Like how Taiga fucking punches Ryuuji for no reason when they bump in the hall.

I hate Toradora solely for th reason I identified with this anime while I was going to school with an abrasive girl I thought I had a shot with. Relationship with girl ended up being a terrible emotional rollercoaster with no good ending. Fuck toradora for making me feel like it was a good thing.
