Fatgum's quirk isn't storing fat, it's using stored fat to absorb impacts. The user would have to accumulate fat on their own.

A good amount of these combinations wouldn't' even work. The large majority of them aren't even a particularly clever combination that would result in some kind of broken result, they're just vaguely similar things that when combined would do more of the same thing.
