It's out.
Don't believe his lies.
Nanatsu No Taizai Chapter 305
Lesbians from the Outback make poor mothers with or without a penis, so how about you just let someone else adopt the child?
is it ending? looks like it
There has been no announcement, even though this kind of series always gets a countdown for the remaining chapters. Get ready for the plot twist that it’s no over at all next week. The Goddess Queen is still around.
It feels like it's ending but there ought to be at least 10 more chapters to wrap things up.
>Goddess
So the same arc as this one but roles are reversed?
So now that the demon king is done for, has Elizabeth's curse been lifted? If I remember correctly The DK cursed Elizabeth AND the Supreme Goddess cursed Mel so even if Mel cannot break his own curse he can live a cozy life with Elizabeth until she dies for good.
Nah. The archangels are either ko or on their side, it’s not gonna be a full arc, just the real final part. We still need to know what’s up with Escanor and Rosa, too.
Take in account that the DK didn’t die at all. He just go pulled out from Mel’s body, back into his real body in the purgatory.
It’s possible the real final battle is against both the SQ and the DK woth their real bodies.
>has Elizabeth's curse been lifted?
I don't think so, everyone protected her before DK uncursed and killed her. Mel might still retain his godly powers to undo it himself though.
This has got to be one the shittiest final battles ever.
Which makes it the ideal JRPG homage, in a sense, I suppose.
it literally got announced a year ago that it was ending
The combo move was nice, a pity Nakaba didn't use them much.
>The legendary hero king Arthur died and stayed dead
What the fuck?
>Estarossa battle: 30 chapters. Kills Monspiet, Derrerie, Oslo, Sariel, and Tarmiel. Defeated by King's asspull.
Based
>Demon King battle: 5 chapters. kill a pig. Gets raped by Meliodas and Ban
OH NO NO NO NO NO
At least Ban got to do something.
That's not a chapter countdown, nor a specific amount of time until the end. Just a vague "less than a year until the end", and we know how well those stick around.
It was less than a year ago.
That Toppo image is fitting to what happened to the Demon King(trolled)
Naruto War arc was better.
>Demon King gets beaten
>Ban didn't get his sacred treasure
What a load of fucking shit
There’s still 3 gaiden chapters to go
the DK only attack were floating heads that amounted to nothing, also, why didn't Melodias think of concentrating his energy in the sixtee years he spend fighting his father? This is the most rushed climax I've seen since Bleach
>its not fair, bros
>AAAAAAAAAA SAVE ME SUPREME MOMMY!
like this page
I mean, all things considered, Nakaba has always been godawful at writing endings. So nothing's really changed.
Akira vs Kongo was a good fight though.
The demon King may have jobbedm but at the very least Nakaba made a good fighting sequence out of it.
What a clusterfuck.
But at least Ban got to look cool and without jobbing for a whole chapter.
So what was his powerlevel anyway.
Nevertheless a shitty, plastered together ending. He can do good and hype fights, sure. But he never achieves the landing.
>we never got his numbers
what a mess
>He can do good and hype fights
Fight would have been better if the other sins (Ban excused) didnt proved again their irrelevance.
Also the Demon King wasnt really paying attention to the fight with Ban with him having to deal with Mel and his power-up out of his ass number 115.
I was hoping a fight between demon king meliodas vs meliodas feelings :(
Chadstarossa should have been the final boss. Mael twist was stupidly done, he should have been kept evil and the enemy of both sides.
Is hawk doing something here apart from covering dk eyes or he is just getting roasted by the dk??
He's the main reason they won the battle, try actually reading the manga please
The fuck. Was that all? Is that it?
God damn add the Demon King to the list of disappointing final shounen villains.
He's up there with Kaguya, Yhwach and Acnologia now.
I really hope that Nakaba has one last twist in store.
This joke of a final boss who got low diffed by Ban and Mel combo can’t be the end.
Not full power DK.
It was spirit Mel vs portion of DK-without-10C(
Nice callback to
2nd panel
DK moved to Hawk's body before Ban's last attack.
The art was so much better back then.
It had more detailed inking and less empty space, I agree.
It ain't over yet, I think it's pretty obvious.
Is that even a problem though?
This shit is so fucking rushed.
Why? Are the sales that bad?
damn thats a good cover
The author really is fed up with the serious and hardcore rushing huh
Im I retarded or did mel actually not use his magic ability that they teased before
I don't fucking know.
>We will never get this version of Elizabeth
Fuck
Yep. In such a shitty way, too. How the fuck does a series drop so drastically in quality?
Escanor, Merlin and?
mel
I hoped his magic power was something akin to ressurection, but it looks like he was pointless in the story
TECHNICALLY this was a Mel vs Ban fight #3211. I mean how many times did they fight (comical/otherwise), they were like rivals.
>tfw still mad we're not getting best boy Mael in THE ONE state and combine with Sunshine Grace Sun dimension going ham on the DK possessed Meliodas showing Sunshine's true power due to being Sunshines true owner
>tfw we got is retarded Nakama bullshit ending
again fuck you Nakaba
>in purgatory Ban can barely touch the DK with Mel and Wild helping him
>In brittania somehow immortalless Ban fights toe to toe against the DK who has taken in 10 commandments
Hmmm REALLY makes me think...
Shit would've been better if the final fight had been demon king Meliodas vs sunshine Mael with Mael redeeming himself.
But no, gotta wank Ban, Meliodas, and Muh Nakama.
He really fucked up this fight. All that development Mael got ended up being wasted since his character now feels like an afterthought.
Personally I loved the team work in this chapter and the art was a lot better than the past few chapters. I just hope its not ending just yet give us a little more than this.
He didn't, which still confuses me to this day. This entire thing seems rushed. If you remember, his "original power" fucking disintegrated the DK's arm. Now he's just harnessing his darkness well enough and that's that.
It's almost like the DK is fighting two battles at once with only half his power. Ban outright said a few chapters ago that Mel rejecting the DK in the mental world is affecting him. Pay more attention.
estarossa being a archangel doesn't make a lot of sense.
is the sinner dead
If related to resurrection, it could be a nice callback to the idea of Arthur returning from Avalon despite his fatal wounds at the time of Britain's darkest hour.
he always had a wierd feeling. he never really felt like Mels brother and was just out of place.
his magic was that since he returned to that form his magic slowly erases him but the closer he is to death and the more damage he takes the stronger he gets. BUT I COULD BE WRONG cause I havent read that chapter in a bit
DK will take over his almost dead body
Now that his character "arc" is finished, guess it's time to go ahead and appreciate the fantastic writing behind Mael.
Mael is a character that, due to jealousy and guidance from his brother, becomes a genocidal killing machine without a single shred of remorse. He just labels the other side as bad and deems his actions completely justified. OG Gowther then messes up his mind and the guy keeps doing the same thing he did when he was on the other side. He doesn't slow down or change his approach, proving that there was no actual, sensible reasoning behind his killing, rather Mael was just rationalizing to cover, to protect himself, from what he actually wanted to do... Kill. He was fueled by hate and enjoyed the hunt and the way he acted as Esta was his true nature, because, as a demon, he could let go of the purity and goodness act and behave the way he wanted.
After the Esta illusion gets broken, Mael rolls back to his "good" act and, while in pain for killing his own kind, he actually crumbles because he failed to be the shining beacon of goodness he set himself up to be. It's his ego, with the commandments adding fuel to the fire, that makes him fall apart. It's that same ego that then demands revenge first and foremost, even at the cost of the lives of his fellow archangels. It's not until he believes everything is lost that he finally lets go of that selfishness and gives into the pain and guilt caused by what he did to his comrades and loves ones.
Prepared to die, Mael takes a look back at his own cruel fate and asks with teary eyes an earnest "why?", just as honestly as a small child would, and D. Gowther responds with insight that builds up to one of the most beautiful moments in manga. He gets shown that the other side can hurt just as much as he does and finally realizes that all those differences that determine which banner one carries to war are but skin deep.
Hats off to the author for creating such marvelous character growth.
5 Panels for the combo, 2 to break them. I didn't even notice he got out until I realized he was fighting Ban again. Fight was trash, TRASH.
what a great fucking page
>no indura forms popped up
in4 DK indura
Nakaba just forgot about them I guess.
Why does King look like a child again?
pushed his magic too much which reverted him.
Its almost like the DK only had half his power in purgatory and could still easily dispatch Ban.
Lets not forget that, Super Satan.
used up too much magic
his sister reverted too
he's like a digimon
he barely even used any of his snatch techniques just his base raw power
we will probably get a short Sinner DK vs Meliodas fight and then the epilogue to perfectly end with summer start
Ironically, nope.
>Page 10 before 100 posts
What killed the hype?
What killed the hype? It's still really popular in Japan but not in the west for some reason
>Punch so hard you fly around the world
Thanks for making me reread this again.
>tfw she was clearly planned to return prior to the last arc getting cut
Not in at least 6 chapters, since there's only 3/9 chapters for the next volume and it's unlikely Nakaba would take that long to wrap things up. Nakaba announced last August that the series would end in "about a year" so we probably have 2-4 volumes left so 15-34 chapters.
From a story perspective, the SD has to be defeated as well in order for Mel and Eli to be free. The DK fight also didn't really seem like a last boss to me. I expect the actual final fight to be similar to the Hendy fight, where all the Sins were fighting together.
Come on now, it's obviously not ending yet. Nakaba established like 5 chapters ago that Mel can only stay in Britannia for 1 day now, which sets up a new problem for the cast to deal with now that the curses are possibly no longer a problem. Also keep in mind that
>Mel never explained what his real magic does even though it's what's keeping him from staying in Britannia
>the SD was recently mentioned but hasn't appeared at all yet
>we haven't seen peak Mael after all the hype he got and after Nakaba teased his power in the movie booklet
>we don't know why and how Escanor received Sunshine and who Rosa is
>Escanor hasn't discovered his real magic yet (which causes his muscles to grow, we know it's not caused by Sunshine because Mael doesn't bulk up)
>Ban doesn't have his sacred treasure yet
>Merlin never revealed what her sacred treasure does
>we haven't seen Mel and Elizabeth's first meeting even though Nakaba said he wanted to draw it
>we haven't seen Mel, Merlin and Escanor's gaidens
>the Zeldris and Gelda subplot hasn't been resolved yet
>we don't know what Cusack was planning since he stated he/they(the Original Demon) would not let Mel become the DK
>the Original Demon's magic causes it to grow stronger depending on how much damage he had received, but we never saw him die or get near death
The SD and maybe the real body of the DK will show up and the Sins have 1 day to prepare and go through the gaidens and what have you. The fight will start at noon so we can see Mael's peak, Mel and Escanor's magics, Merlin and Ban's sacred treasures, etc. Nakaba said years ago that he was aiming for 40 volumes and we're 33 chapters short of that, which is more than enough time to resolve everything.
>after Nakaba teased his power in the movie booklet
how did he tease it
>the Zeldris and Gelda subplot hasn't been resolved yet
But it pretty much is resolved, Zeldris is free to go to her now
Do we know how the DK and the SD got "killed" during the war?
That's just excuses. The final battle of a battle manga is supposed to be the hypest shit in the whole story, and while you can have in-setting explanation why the Big Bad jobbed like a bitch without accomplishing much of anything those still won't actually make that satisfying. Fuck, I can remember at least one better final fight where the villain actively PLANNED his own defeat.
demon king got sealed by goddess clan and the sealing caused all godesses to lose their physical bodies
There's more to it. Peronia overheard Mel's words to Zel and later told about it to Cusack who then left to do something off-screen. We now know that Mel's words were about Gelda but we don't know what Cusack left to do. It's most likely tied to his goal of wanting Zeldris to become the DK and why the Sinner was opposed to Mel becoming the DK.
He basically almost melted the movie villain just by being near him and then clashed with Mel in this kind of a yin-yang situation as equals. I thought it was setting up a Mel vs Mael encounter but it never happened.
>One side in the war kills anyone who is weaker and eats souls for shits and giggles
>The worst thing the other side ever does is exterminating the former
>All those differences are only skin deep
What did the author mean by that?
>Shitty scans vs good scans
>final
Come on, you can't be that stupid to belive this is the end?
Diane is the sexiest piece of ass in all of manga history. Fr.
no way that was the final boss, that'd be so disappointing
It's not fair bros, I used to enjoy this manga
Is this the final arc? I refuse to believe so
Truly /ourguy/
thats what growing up does to you
What did this bitch mean by this? I missed last chapter's thread if this was discussed
I haven't been keeping up with this very well, but is Elizabeth still on a death timer? Also won't they need to deal with the supreme goddess or whatever too to stop this curse shit?
>never got to see that aged up loli again
feels bad
Nothing is certain right now since I doubt the DK's dead. But if this manga ends without the Supreme Goddess making any appearance it'd a giant brainfart on Nakaba's end
Manga time is still in effect and it hasnt been the full Three days
Which one?
Do you know how long its been exactly? Feels like the whole "Elizabeth is going to die" thing happened eons ago, though yeah, I guess the release schedule doesn't help.
the musician who was possessed by the angel
I can believe that the Demon King will come back for another bout to get BTFO even harder, because the main cast is obviously death-proof. But anything more than that will require a whole new arc, and the manga is said to be ending.
I sadly dont and I cant remember the page someone pointed out where it was referenced off hand since its been a while. ill reread a few chapters but im giving up if I get nothing
Never in my life has a series had so many unlikable uninteresting characters.
It is a testamant at how bad it is when the only characters I like is Ban. Thats it. The rest of the SDS are all annoying faggots I can't like.
True I bet her pussy's so sweet now
I can't be the only one that loved the Demon King's nonchalant attitude and expressions during the entirety of this fight? What a waste of a cool antagonist
>kings asspull
kinghaters are still mad
wtf where is this from?
the pilot
>This goddamn sword.
Jesus Christ Mel, i know you´re a manlet, but this is compensating for much more than just that.
His cocky rebel teen attitude doesnt match his true self we saw in purgatory
I can't believe it bros, Ban actually got a win
Meliodas is compensating for his little dick with that sword
Should have kept this version
This, it's like two separate characters.
What the fuck's wrong with her body? This is not how female or human bodies work
Seems pretty much the same to me. It’s just that his real body is an expressionless old man. Even if he smiles you can’t see it.
maybe he was like that when he was young and being in a young body again made him go through a mid life crisis
Nakaba isn't particularly good at the whole anatomy thing.
What's the problem? I don't see it
Merlin ruined this manga.
Everything below her tits.
Oh yeah, because of the lack of thread recently I don't think I posted it there, but drew Diane earlier this month.
variant
More like Escanor, i mean i like him as a character but the powercreep after his introduction is just too much.
Fuck Wakaba and his tweeests, the resemblance with Estarossa is uncanny.
And a last one
Power creep already happened when Galand appeared and shitted all over the cast.
Escanor just managed to make the power creep actually kinda cool.
yeeeeeeeeeees
> Implying
Escanor and Marciel were the saving graces (pun intended) of this Holy War arc.
Why the fuck would you give Diane blue eyes?
Fighting both on the inside against the body's master without being a mind rapist like Gowther and outside against everybody has got to be hard. Still, expected a bit more from the old man. I mean, despite what shota haters would like you to believe, Zeldris did extremely well throughout all of these chapters when Nakaba finally allowed him to have a proper fight. NOW WHERE THE HELL IS THE SINNER?
>time to get your ass back here
Is Captain a FUCKING SLAVE?
It's been roughly two days.
>the Sins leave Liones at daytime
>Elizabeth regains her memories a little bit after that, starting the timer
>the next morning they arrive at Corrand
>Mel vs Escanor fight at noon
>Chandler shows up a little while after that
That's day 1.
>Mel leaves in the evening
>Ban leaves for Purgatory, the Sins to go Liones and meet the archangels late at night
>the holy war starts the next morning
>Escanor fingers Zeldris at noon, Mael is defeated shortly before this
>Escanor and Merlin hold their own against the Sinner for like an hour before the others arrive
>the DK is defeated in late afternoon or early evening
That's day 2. Interestingly, Mel using his real magic put a timer on how long he can remain in Britannia for and that time limit happens to coincide with Elizabeth's curse triggering. The curse might be removed but Nakaba basically just replaced the original time limit with a more serious one. I guess that means he has something planned for the final day.
What the fuck is going on right now?
Ludo is either dying or moving to the spirit realm.
When is Arthur coming back to cuck Escanor again?
man that guy was hype as fuck
then he died like a bitch
>haaaaaaack
I remember reading this a medieval european shonen that was Fairy Crap it was such a delight to see the world it took place in then suddenly
DUDE POWER LEVES
DUDE DEMONS
DUDE ANGELS
DUDE DEMONS VS ANGELS PLOT
DUDE MELIODAS GARY STU
I expected it to be the adventures of the sins as they travel around not this pile of garbage.
Yeah, ending sometime this year, nothing concrete. Also we don't need a new arc, DK just comes through Hawk in his own body and SD joins him from Eli's earring.
In the sequel, if Nakaba's still planning to write one. Or maybe they'll give the series the Fairy Tail treatment and hire someone else to do it. I'm curious how Nakaba is going to manage it considering the Sins already defeated a literal god. What kind of enemies will be able to threaten the world after that? The only way around that I can think of would be a long timeskip that massively nerfs all the Sins. The problem with that is that most of the main cast can easily live for hundreds of years and King and Merlin could reach multiple thousands.
>I expected it to be the adventures of the sins as they travel around
This, so much. Where is Hawk Mama anyway?
Having a threesome with Sinner and the Goddess Queen in the background.
>implying it needs to threaten the world
It will be arthur defending britannia from immigrants
its the thickness of the lines.
>make a entraining overpowered character
>turn him into a whiny cuck
And that's one of the lesser things that went wrong with this series. Nakaba fucked up.
>Nakaba makes his shotas grow into handsome young men
>one turns out to just have realized that young men might be sexier than fatties
>the other is possessed by his dad
>both revert to their old shota looks after getting tired/exorcised
What a twist. A degenerate like me approves, /ss/ rules supreme.
kinda, but it's also mostly just because of crappy scans.
night escanor was there even before day Escanor. Don't be dumb.
>arthur
>the legendary cuck himself
>cucking anyone
Obviously Nakaba would never introduce that aspect of the tale in NNT or the Arthur manga he's supposedly planning to do, but every time someone mentions who Arthur is supposedly cucking Escanor I get reminded that this characters is based on the same Arthur who was literally cucked to death by his best friend and in some stories his own bastard son.
I dunno, I think the Demon King's design is one of the coolest sights in the manga and it first appeared somewhere around chapter 220+.
tfw you realize you can actually see the 4 graces on the supreme deity
>Nakaba's previous manga had a character called Gawain
I wonder if he will show up in the Arthur sequel.
The cuck meme got overblown by redditors as usual. Nakaba already went out of his way to state that the relationship between Arthur and Merlin is strictly master and student and you can see that Merlin also thinks of Arthur as her adopted child since she essentially raised him. People screaming cuck every chapter involving Escanor are just projecting.
thats more love than escanor will ever get from her
I hope we get to see mommy diety's face.
Still not "cucking" though.
Probably will be about Arthur adventuring past Brittania.
Oh, the guy who do shit like this good ol' Nakaba. You juswt know he has a porn stash of them among others.
How would that even work? I mean we know he only met Merlin, obtained Excalibur and became the king of Camelot fairly recently. I think it pretty much has to be a sequel. Maybe something along the lines of the defeat of the demons and the goddesses causing the power that they possessed to spread all over Britannia, giving rise to more conflict as humanity grew more powerful. It would explain how Arthur's knights, who were human in the stories, are somehow able to match Arthur who is at least 10 times stronger than any normal human.
And here's a good example of what I was talking about. Cucks projecting their fetish when Nakaba himself already stated otherwise.
...
Arthur and the knights go to Japan with Nanashi. There the weakest tengu is DK tier and they need to fight the whole nip pantheon.
>western knights able to do things that samurai cant
not possible
It seemed to me like Nanashi was Nakaba's way of shoehorning a samurai into an Arthurian setting and that he would eventually become one of Arthur's knights, but I don't think I would mind that kind of a story either. At the very least it could work as some sort of a travel arc.
Nakaba isn't such a scary patriot. The man's cowgirls can destroy alien saucers with some bullets.
Also, the chapter that showed how cool Nanashi/Vivian was for effortlessly killing one sand crawler manta or whatever it was ended with showing Meliodas sitting on several of the things. Even the samurai-trained and Excalibur-wielding Arthur is nothing before the might of Nakaba's demonic shota overlords.
Avalon > Avaln > Apaln > Japaln > Japan
Japan is Avalon, samurais are mystic trainers of the knights.
Nakaba is chad enough to know nipland is weak as hell, he will inject a healthy dose of foreign awesomeness into it in order to make it great again.
I really loved his attitude too. Truly what a waste.
>all the knights remain in Japan at the end of the story
>the Banchous from Kongoh Banchou are the descendants of the knights of the round
>Englands fall into muslim hands is not a problem because the true english people now live in Japan
Do it, Nakaba!
Doesn't say much but Meliodas-possessing DK is still better than the Sinner. At least it's understandable why he was so weak. It's funny (not really) how a guy who was supposed to be a fearsome upgrade over the two masters ended up feeling like a massive downgrade instead, minimum flashiness and none of the personality. His only and very minor saving grace was the ability to destroy Merlin's bullshit by belching at her.
>Esto el fin, padre mio...
Jesus christ Nakaba
Wouldn't it be "le Rex de Demonios"?
Mental world or not, that was way too easy for Mel’s side, what a gary stu.
Nanatsu feels like almost as much of a drag as Soma lately
I think that's mostly because this whole DK stuff isn't very interesting. Nakaba needs to get to the few remaining plot points that are still unexplored while setting up a worthy final battle.
I feel the same way, also reminds me of the ending of Bleach where it feels like the mangaka is just going through the motions to end the manga.
Goodnight sweet prince (king)
Nakaba seems to be fairly familiar with older versions of the Arthurian legends, and these featured Arthur conquering the entirety of Europe. So it may be that neighboring lands actually have clans of supernatural beings whose powerlevel is way higher than anything in Britannia and DK is so obsessed with strength because he knows what monsters lurk out there and may decide to check what is happening in this land of weaklings at any moment. Or something. I'd be more enthusiastic about that had power levels still meant something besides "this characters can beat this one".
I think Nakaba should find a way to scale back the powercreep somehow and a decent way to go about it would be to make the ordinary humans stronger while removing the demons and goddesses from the story. If the average holy knight is at 10k then Arthur being at 40k isn't that big of a deal. I just want to go back to the comfy times when a single character couldn't solo 99% of the cast.
but mel always was able to solo the cast
I don't think that's quite true. He wasn't able to just outright overpower Gil and Hendy when he fought them even though that would have allowed him to focus on killing the creature stalking Margaret. Helbram defeated him by buffing himself with Link and that was after Mel had gone berserk. Later on we saw the Pleiades defeat Fraudrin through teamwork and trickery so something similar might have worked against Mel as well. I think Vivian would have also been a massive pain for him to deal with, mainly because of her teleportation spells and Dreyfus should have been able to put up a good fight as well. It's also worth noting that back then the differences in power levels weren't so large that strong characters could just outright ignore the attacks from weaker characters, just compare Slader using his magic against the Sins and against Galand. Of course later on we learn that Mel was always hiding some kind of god-killing powers and a couple other aces in the hole but from the point of view of the story those didn't exist in the first arc, which is why there was more tension there. I think the only character who probably would have been able to solo the entire cast from the start was Ban and even he had some counters like King.
Is Zeldris gonna be okay?
It's dead, Jim
Certainly. Surviving a fatherly slap from the Demon King is one of the prerequisites to become the Demon King.
or he's on his way to meet Gelda by himself
they cute
Is the final arc the goddess then?
Her and maybe the DK as well. Perhaps something similar to the pic in .
>sticcbeth
No
>huge tits
>negative hips
>no problem
>Ban can go toe to toe with a fully powered DK
Eww
>fully powered
No.
>bimbo Protozabeth
>amazon Aylizabeth
>tomboy Liz
>Nakaba picks the blandest possible version of her as the main heroine
Why? Of course all of them pale in comparison to Marciel but some of them would have at least been interesting. I hope Arthur at least gets a good waifu.
ARthur's ded forever though.
I wonder what was he even doing in the manga? Maybe to setup a spinoff?
>Arthur's ded forever though.
>Implying
I think the pilot's "tehee I am so shameless and silly~ NOW LET ME STAB MY HAND WITH A KNIFE NOW" Elizabeth is way worse than the final version Elizabeth.
>AND HERE COMES THE GIANT FIST
I am really going to miss these threads. Compared to other shounen threads like BC or BNHA where they fling shit at each other or shitpost at every possible turn, NNT threads were really calm and fun. Sure most threads didn't go above 300 replies, but each thread was comfy. Especially during Estarossa's arc.
I’m fine with this fight as long as it’s no more than a setup for bigger things. There were near stuffs but also too little shown. We barely saw anything of the DK’s powers, we didn’t see Mel’s magic, and Ban started limiting himself to being a mere brawler.
>Marciel
Please dont remind me of what we lost. Id read 2000 chapters with her as an mc.
Pig is probably a tool of the goddess and demon king.
Nakaba outright stated multiple times that he wanted to write a sequel based on Arthur. That's why Arthur never awakened his magic, why he didn't manage to wield Excalibur properly and why Cath remained such a mystery. There's also the fact that some of Arthur's knights are the children of the Sins and Arthur just happens to be in stasis right now which would enable a lengthy timeskip. I just hope that Nakaba will be the one to draw the sequel instead of handing it off to someone else, but I also hope he manages to distance the series from Nanatsu so we don't just end up with another Burrito.
Hawk Mama is just the foster mom, Hawk is both Mel and Eli's half-brother, the true hier to the thrones of the underworld and heaven.
Will we see Delores again before the series ends?
Even if s(he) were the mc of one piece??
i think now we have to deal with the divine angel next
Gilthunder was such a filler character in this arc, yikes.
Confirmation that she’s permanently dead. Also Diane never really remembered her again after she did die
He's been a filler character ever since the first arc ended. The biggest weakness of this manga is the powercreep that leaves most of the characters in the dust and makes them completely irrelevant. It's funny how Nakaba gave Gil and Howzer a training sequence in the druid cave even though the only fights they ever had after that were either off-screen or against nameless fodder. What was the point if he was already in the process of phasing them out?
>this shit character is responsible for best girl not saying longer
wished he was killed by zeldris
Suzuki's paneling skills are still glorious.
So every character got a powerup(Ban with the biggest out of them).
Except for Diane. Why is she so shit?
>its the thickness of the lines.
Shoddy scans and overuse of filters can fuck quite a bit with stuff like thickness of lines and therefore detail. I have the first 20 or so tankobon in print and it looks really fucking good. Even the RHS stuff back then lacked some of the softness of a good print on paper, compared to a scan that usually is leveled to stark white and black. I haven't seen the latest volumes as prints, but based on how the earlier stuff looked scanned vs. printed, I wouldn't judge the look of current chapter scans and digital releases too harshly, until I've seen how it looks in the intended medium, or at least a scan that hasn't been filtered/leveled by someone who thinks only pure black and white is allowed for digital releases.
Gowther and Merlin didn't get powerups either and Escanor basically lost his powers(although he'll probably get something back for the final fight). Diane still has the gaia form that she tried to use in Drole's body.
>that armored guy with the big sword and the mage with a weird staff never showed up
What a waste. Perhaps in the Arthur sequel.
What the fuck.
Why are scanlators so fucking bad?
>that hawk eye foreshadow
Pretty sure that was early Slader and Vivian.
In their defense, the shit looking one is based off magazine scans, while the good one is from a tankobon, though I think their filtering effort with the scanlated one probably killed an extra chunk of detail.
It's because of the garbage magazine quality.
Since we're at it with the comparisons of this spread, this one is the official Kodansha digital release.
They were likely prototype designs that were changed later.
Thanks, didn't have that one. I'm kinda surprised that official digital releases don't have access to seamless double spreads. The official digital release looks a whole lot better. That being said, and I'm probably in the minority, I kinda like the physical scan from the book a bit more. That slight lower contrast grey haze and paper texture feel makes it a bit more pleasant to look at for me.
The physical scan does look nice and crisp.
it has a shitty "fog" over it
>I'm kinda surprised that official digital releases don't have access to seamless double spreads.
Well, it's a traditional drawing that got scanned, so it's likely that it was never fully seamless in the first place, and they didn't bother trying to fix it digitally for the Japan release.
> I kinda like the physical scan from the book a bit more. That slight lower contrast grey haze and paper texture feel makes it a bit more pleasant to look at for me.
The quality of the digital release is clearly better, so I guess the ideal option would be to manually add some paper texture over it to get the best of both worlds, just saying. Kinda like what Made in Abyss does.
Fun trivia, Suzuki also goes back sometimes and redoes or corrects little stuff for printed releases, like some other authors do. I wonder, how is the policy for western official digital releases? Do they also make updated digital tankobon scans available to western fans, once they become available?
>Kinda like what Made in Abyss does.
Would be a nice compromise, or at least a nice alternative, if they offered it as an option.
Wouldn't his reaction make more sense with the left version. Right one is such a rough graffitti that you can hardly see what is going on, too.
The one on the right is stupid, unsubscribed.
Left looks more alluring and pleasant. Then again, Helbram is a fairy, so I could see him going for the version on the right. Also, right version looks more believable as a face doodle coming from Meliodas.
Escanor should have died protecting Merlin from the Demon King with his body after giving the sunshine to Mael
So, Nakaba really just got tired of NnT right? There is no other explanation for how rushed things were after the Mael reveal.
Well it's either that, or we just forgot that we're reading shonen and it's just the way things are.
No. In the case of NnT, it stays the same. There are several actual mistakes Nakaba went back for and fixed them, like the hole Diane got from Dreyfus changing spots between the chapter she got it in and the next one. That fix is not present in the official release. (Or any fixes, as far as I've seen them)
Some other countries do fix them, probably since no digital version exists.
Helbram's Link never made sense with powerlevels in play.
Mel's Demon form goes up to 10k, and the fact that Hendy, plus a handful of Holy Knights were giving a fraction of their power to him allowed him to easily overpower Mel.
Later on, he takes basically all the power from the Holy Knights, but apparently because Hendy, who's below 2k anyways, wasn't around King was able to beat him. If he had Release, sure, but he didn't yet.
This indicates that most Holy Knights are absolutely shit. Or, you know, that power levels are.
Isn’t whendy at 3k?
2650. I meant to say under 3k.
Twigo was I think at like 250 and was said to be nowhere near a holy knight tier, so 1k sounds like the minimum for one.
is vivian dead
Considering Dreyfus insisted to save her, she likely survived.
Eh, I would give it a try.
