I really enjoyed Dark Side of Dimensions though. That scene where Kaiba kills a guy in a plane with a holographic dragon gave me the biggest shit eating grin. Kaiba is so over the fucking top and has such little regard for the rest of society that it is endearing. Later Yugioh series characters fall flat trying to re-capture that je ne sais quoi.
How I feel about Vrains is really similar to how I feel about certian incarnations of Gundam just being tired and souless copies of 0079 because we need to sell kits even though they are like 6/10 competent shows.

Same thing that happened to the Yuyas, they all died/got absorbed by their standard universe self. So while 1 Yuya and 1 Yuzu got a happy end, their other versions were relegated to being stuck inside their bodies for the rest of their lives. God Arc V's ending was a shitfest.
