That looks comfortable to work at. Not like my Shirobako.

>17. Doga Kobo(77 employees) >18. Madhouse(70 employees) >19. Bones(69 employees) Pretty shocking as these are some of the more talked about studios on Yea Forums.
probably long ago. does ghibli still exist and operate?
Camden Sullivan
But why? They make some great stuff.
Nolan Baker
>Why does the Pokemon company have that many? Compared to Toei.
OLM do other children anime
Jaxson Ramirez

Does Pro I.G include Wit’s animators as well?

>satelight has 100+ employees yet dog shit animation in every show they should be bankrupt
Jace Murphy
>2、Studio Ghibli(300 employees) Kek, FOR WHAT? How are they employees of the studio when the studio makes a single feature film every 5 months? If what they do for 90% of their life is contract work then how are actually employees of a company they barely do shit for.
Evan Clark
I'm pretty sure Kyoto has more people right now. They bought a new building and hired after Koe no Katachi.
Jayden Peterson
>1、Toei Animation (645 employees) >19、Bones(69 employees) Based. Remember kids, in-house staff is a meme. Hiring freelancers is the objectively superior choice.
>The only advantage of Toei is that employee benefits are the best Or the fact that they are actually allowed work on anime to make them look good. my.mixtape.moe/yelffv.webm
Nolan Gutierrez
Toei makes mostly long-running shit so it makes sense to hire many permanent employees that would work on it all the time. Other studios simply hire freelancers for any given anime project so this data is rather meaningless.

>anime >posts CGI shit Fuck off.

How did based toei get the rights to winnie the pooh?
I'm pretty interested in stats like this but I can't read Japanese to save my life. Does there happen to be a list showing the most profitable studios?
So, conclusion - which studio was portrayed in Shirobako? (i mean main studio, not studio Tytanic which was obviously Shaft)
The building and studio owner hint to KyoAni, Kimagi being there as character, but its located in Tokyo story wise and the shows they made are different type. Obvious its no "real" studio but gathering of facts/concepts of others - but still should be one could identify with it.
Actas?

Khara's CGI sucks. It think they're doing the cutscenes of the latest Fire Emblem games, and they look like shit.
Tattun said that Trigger has like 40 actual employees.
Ryder Hughes
Silly me only decided to become interested in Kitaro 45 episodes into its current airing. I read that it's starting a new arc at the beginning of next season, I can probably jump in there yeah?
Eli Murphy
With no in-house staff there would be no one to process the animation properly and it would never look that good.
Oliver Thompson
Now i am curious about Shaft
Aiden Reed
Kitaro just had a string of 3 solo-animated episodes.
Sebastian Ramirez
Except of course that most of these studios, especially A-1 or Madhouse, hire temporary staff. These numbers give of a wrong impression.

Why does japanese anime looks so shitty compared to chinese? Is it because the whole japanese animation industry is like 2-3 thousand peopel max, while in china its dozens already?
It's obviously not. I'll give you the reasons why.
1. There's too many males staffs in Shirobako 2. In the anime, the studio employed the help of freelancers. 3. Aoi drive around in and out of the studio to deliver animation keyframes to send to other studios for coloring, rendering, etc. 4. The animator Emma is shown tired and despondent showing signs of unrest and lack of sleep from working. Emma also lives in a small apartment instead of a dorm. 5. There was an image floating around a long time ago showcasing how much income each anime staff makes, and in the image it showed Emma making the least amount of money of them all. 6. The studio took its name from a Tokyo Prefecture. 7. The studio produced 'Jiggly Jiggly Heaven' a show that had a lot issues in production and became notorious on the internet, damaging the reputation of the studio and everybody involved.
