Is there any anime you specifically remember you wasted your time by watching?

Is there any anime you specifically remember you wasted your time by watching?

>Egao no Daika
Seriously, just watch Argevollen instead.

>just watch Argevollen instead.
Argevollen was a waste of my time. I knew egao was shit from episode 1

Mnemosyne

I watch anime to waste time instead of doing something productive, so all. Though I enjoyed egao at least.

Glasslip.
This shit was so bad I never finished watching the 3 last episodes and I get angry every time I remember this turd exist.

I can't shake the feeling this was supposed to get 24 episodes.

Aquarion Evol

>Jeannu doesn't even go inverse and become Dark Jeannu again or anything
>she just gets tired of everything and leaves
>along with everybody else
a season so bad it killed RoB

Nice trips. Also, at least it had a decent OP. Strangely enough it is a good equivalent to Egao no Daika when you go by checklist.

Yes, all of them.

don't be down, fren

this. they tricked me into watching this shit

what about this shit? nobody remembers M3

Manaria friends. Yuribait is one thing, but ending the anime with lesbians until graduation trope is even trashier.

did Hime get the D?

might pick it back up then

Pretty much every Gundam show not UC-based, Turn A being the only exception.

>Seriously, just watch Argevollen instead.

But Argevollen was the worst mecha I've watched.

Our guy Owen is going to get dragged into their room one night and be forced to impregnate both princesses as his chivalric duty.

No, the princesses are pure.
But they accept that their friendship won't last long, as their royal duties will only increase as time goes on, so they'll be separated and won't have time for each other.
I don't know how, since Anne can barely function without Grea, but whatever.

>forced

I watched ergo proxy all in one sitting because I was home sick from school, and aside from a few episodes it was pretty bad. When it wasn't a character-driven episode, it ranged from vapid to embarrassing. Thinking about that game show episode makes me shudder.

what a waste of time. good thing I dropped it

Bahamut's ability to piss off its fanbase is quite something.

Mainly Oregairu and Ergo Proxy. I don't particularly regret watching them though, even if I think they were a waste of time. I would like to think watching them contributed positively to my overall perspective on anime.

I'm sure she'll find a good husband to make her happy. Like her devoted bodyguard, for example.

Argevollen was good until that terrible final arc.

I liked both.

M3 at least had funny Okada edge.
Dont regret watching it, was still bad though.

Captain Earth
Arata Kangatari
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge
Comet Lucifer
Turn a Gundam
Gundam Reconguista
Caligula
Endride

Thanks for the free recs!

Episode 1 doesn't really represent the whole show.

Re:creators was fun if you rooted for the correct characters.

>Re:creators was fun if you rooted for the worst characters.
fixd

Worst, as is evil.

So Sota? That's the opposite. Don't be frustrated and irritated with the negative tone.

Sota won tho

i wish you're fucking baiting.hes dead.

Romeo x Juliet. I can't remember the details but Juliet was a selfish cunt with heavy plot armour and the english insert song they put in a certain romantic scene was cringy.
I watched the whole thing for the blonde guy, who was the smart man in sea of dumb and naive fucks but he remained irrelevant and was even teased with a guy. Fuck this.

I seriously start to question a peerson's taste when they mention anohana is their favorite anime

>Comet Lucifer
Eh, it wasn't terribly boring like Daika and had a happy ending.

Charlotte

Anne & Grea's "yuri" ""romance"" is also dead, yet it doesn't stop anyone.

Overlord

Remind me how it ended

He didn't really participate in anything that would give him any "award"

Eh, egao no daika also had a happy ending, and I found it more engaging than comet lucifer.

the commander dude turned out to be the final boss

he got the power to command a whole army of argevollen

he won important contacts who will further his career

(((They))) won.

May be but because they know this shit not gonna sell even the director know people will hate it so why bother waste more money.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned The Reflection, but I guess that's a good thing. The less people that watch it, the better. One of the worst anime I've watched to completion. The character writing all throughout is worse than Okada shit. It amazes me how someone even managed to make something so terrible. The only redeeming quality is its artstyle, but they don't even animate anything interesting with it, so it doesn't really matter. It's also just a poor man's X-Men.
>Captain Earth
>Comet Lucifer
>Re:Creators
>Glasslip
Yeah, pretty much.
Also, I misread Endride and Re:Creators together as Rerided, which is hilariously another bad anime.

I enjoyed the QUALITY and the quality drop in the threads but for yeah I wasted my time for 3 months for this.

I know this is going bring shitposters but HxH felt like a huge waste of time. Everyone hyped up the "deep and complex" character and themes and it just comes off as an average or below average shonen. I really was not a fan of togashi's habit of subverting the climax of the arc.

Every Ikkitousen season after the first one.

bnha really went down hill fast, forced myself through the last few seasons and really regretted it

I find it confusing how it's so highly rated. Sure, it has some decent qualities, mostly in animation and character design, but the story and characters are just so terrible that I don't see what people love about it.

It's the same deal with stuff like Angel Beats, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Wolf Children, almost everything by Makoto Shinkai, almost everything by Mari Okada, etc. They're all just sad traps where the only point to them is for you to cry at all costs, but none of them actually build up their characters well enough for me to care about their struggles and they always come off extremely forced, both the struggles and the sad moments.
Maybe I'll get some shit for this example, but Sangatsu no Lion is a good example of a story actually developing the main character and the cast around him, so the happy and sad moments hit you in a good way. I don't think I ever cried while watching it, but it's definitely one of my favorite character dramas. Rakugo is another good one (outside of the ending). They're both sad stories, but their whole point isn't just to make you sad, they're to make you understand the characters themselves.
I just don't get the point of a sad story if you're not going to make a believable cast of characters.
