It's just dumb luck. The shit he makes up ends up being 100% accurate, and he never realizes it.
Too bad the author changed it to "atomic" in the official LN and manga. The climax of volume 1 (and 6) won't have nearly the same oomf as TAEPODONG

Wait is the translation by tenshi the LN or WN. It uses atomic but the chapter numbers looks like it's from the WN.

Tenshi translated the WN, but his final act before retiring was adjusting all the taepodongs to "atomic"/"nuclear" to match the LN. It was only changed right at the end.

I've only read Tenshi's trans, so I wouldn't know. However, from a few of the comments I read about the LN,
