Is Last Encore good? I haven't watched it.

It is 6-7/10 for me (Alice's floor + Rani's death is 8.5/10) but overall Last Encore got a lot of negative criticisms. I think the plot is still fine but those battle scenes were pretty bad. And you will need to read the transcript + other Drama CDs to fully understand LE (for floor 4, Amari and Hakunon)
But anyway, if you like Extraverse then i think you should give it a try. It also has beautiful ED illustrations too.

What is likely to happen is that Nasu says he's quits and has a year or so hiatus from FGO before he gets struck by an idea and returns to write again. He has always said he's quitting Fate but he always comes back.

It just feels like the way the story is designed makes continuing afterwards an ever-increasing escalation of "THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS FUCKED" that can't carry on forever. It's not like GBF where you can just have light adventures with new places and people for years on end, with FGO you're already killing the final bosses of the entire Nasuverse. It doesn't feel like we can get much greater than the Incineration and then the destruction of panhistory by lostbelts unless we start taking on the Velber, or Overcount 1999 hits.

I know LE only did something like 18k for all volumes combined, but i'm not too worried about another Extra anime happening with another studio. LE didn't need to do well with BD's because it was primarily a Netflix series. So long as it streamed well, I can't see Netflix abandoning it. Doesn't hurt that Extella keeps the Extraverse alive and popular. Extella 2 (not Link) has been openly discussed as happening.

Sion is a member of Chaldea main base team and Atlas too, she will definitely get more involvement in the main story + other events. We can only Rayshift again because of Paper Moon and Trismegistus, and Mashu's Bunker Bolt is going to be upgraded by Sion with the same function as Black Barrel Replica. Not to mention that BB Summer hinted about Rani's appearance in FGO too, so it would be nice if we can see Sion and her "niece" together.

I don't play FGO so I don't know the details but to me the most interesting thing about Fate has always been its interpretations of various myths and how it condenses the different aspects of a legend into special traits and abilities. Holmes was cut out from the Stage, the hints of Roman being Solomon was in his song in Babylonia and dialogue/lines in there too (plus how the actor played him too). Mashu wasn't made a complete retard and she figured out who the spirit was based on her knee-jerk reaction to Lancelot.

The name Nero corresponds to the number of the beast from Revelations if you use gemetria. Beyond that, I think what has led people to speculate Nero is a beast are her unexplained migraines in the second singularity and I believe her third interlude containing hints as well.

Which is why David, Moses, and Solomon have actual divine powers and boons while Martha and Vlad are just madly mighty because they're amped up on pure faith in a deity that loves them (King Hassan's an iffy case as it's ambiguous as to whether he's an agent of God or just a crazy magic user who believes himself to be one). Conversely, all of Part 1 is implied to be a very elaborate scheme on God's part to punish Goetia for rebelling against Solomon (and by extension, HIM) by having Solomon fling one of his rings into the future to sabotage the entire Demon Pillar campaign so that centuries of planning were reduced to complete wastes of time.

That would be pointless. Jesus is God, with capital G, not just a god, so first off the grail wouldn't be able to even try, and if God wanted to help and therefore accept the summon, he'd just make the situation where his help is needed not exist.
Like said, he's already planned everything that happens out, so he doesn't care to stop what happened because that was the plan all along.
