Nah, instead of the three seasons, they should have made an OVA/movie series (Similar to Hellsing ultimate). Each novel so far has taken about 4 eps to adapt. So an hour and half OVA would be perfect to cover 1 novel. So 9 novels would translate to 9 OVA episodes. And with OVA format, they could spend like half a year on it and work out all the details (and the budgets are higher too). So 1-2 high quality episodes a year, instead of 2 terrible seasons. But alas, this ain't last decade.
