You have to play it user, really, it's cultural enrichment. Start with Sengoku maybe because that's the part that brings most of the fans in. The other parts are by no way weaker, but I feel like Sengoku works good as an entry to this series.

There is something inherently funny about these games, be it actiions, characters, comments or things happening in the background. And the music fits perfectly to that, the whole game is just pure enjoyment, people who never touched these games don't know what they miss. I wonder how many hours I spent on these, especially Sengoku Rance. Must be an eternity, and I only rarely care enough about games to get the 100%.

I have mixed feelings on the way it ended. On one hand it was appropriate, but on the other there are definitely things still unexplored in the universe. It doesn't finish in an unsatisfying way though.
