It's gonna be an elecitricity pole, those things go deep as hell. He has to manifest and control his IBM to pull it off succesfully, even then I don't see how realistic that is without it breaking off, even IBMs have a limit to their strenght no?

Satou could bring out his IBM and break the box or whatever, would have to be one hell of a tough box to resist and even then they'd have to risk fighting Satou's IBM.
But, there's something I don't really get about the obsession with the hole. If they would simply direct the arm towards the ground on concrete Satou would be trappe in concrete, since he'd be somewhat near the surface he would be able to bring out his IBM, but so what? The IBM wouldn't have the strenght to destroy concrete to rescue Satou out, even a few grenades wouldn't be enough. At worst they'd have to deal with his IBM, but just fighting him off for a little while until he runs out of steam to bring it out, they have their own IBMs to keep it at bay. And then just try to control it by showering the area with water to keep it from coming out again. Is there anything wrong with this plan?
