How old is Miroku and Sango anyway?

Could have sworn there were a few times they all got referred to as kids (even though Inuyasha's technically like 70 something or whatever). Though if I had to guess, Miroku was probably close to 20, with Sango being a year or two younger, since she was a bit taller than Kagome.

i think miroku is in his early 30s while sango is in her early 20s.
miroku used to hook up with lolis and told them he comes back when they are in legal age, sango gets really upset about it later in the series.

Sango is 16 and Miroku is 18, it's literally in the manga that Sango just turned 16 when she's first introduced.

Sango and Kagome's anime designs make them look a bit older, but Sango looks like a 16 year old girl for sure in the manga and Miroku has always looked young as fuck

I think when they give the enemies some humanizing elements helps with the arc a lot. All of Naraku's incarnations have their own agenda, and all the other demons are more or less out for their own interest or mindless murder beasts. The only enemies that had the same dynamic were early Koga's tribe and the Thunder Bros. I think that is what helped them stand out more like the band of 7. The fact that they actually care for each other adds to their character and the attachment towards them.

When you say first season, which episode does it end on? For some, they consider the first season like the first 50 or so episodes, right up to when Inuyasha kills the dragon that his daddy fought.

Band of 7 arc was so good it had a completely different feel than the rest of the series.
Bankotsu was fucking based, too bad he went down in such a lame way, I wanted him to go against Sesshomaru, but Rumiko avoided writing anything too complex for her to deal with.
