How can Kingdom be so popular yet no anime? Does Japan hate money?
How can Kingdom be so popular yet no anime? Does Japan hate money?
user.
There was an anime and it was awful.
Shame, im reading this manga now for the first time and its incredibly good.
I wish they made one, but it's a long series to adapt. If they did it'd probably have a poor budget, or even worse, CGI.
Hoh. The live action movie seem promosing it's ranked in top 3 so we'll have an anime at some point i'm not sure if it's okay to show people being beheaded imapled and tortured on regular bases
whats so good about it?
theres also sei's mom getting fucked in a few scenes as well.
I could see a game of thrones/LOTR-like series with a high budget for the warfare scenes.
I love the art in this series though, top tier.
Im on chapter 357 and I haven't been bored at all.
It goes from struggle to struggle, giant war to small conflict and doesn't let up in terms of quality what so ever.
The story masterfully links each character and has them develop through events with real stakes in them.
There's a huge cast but each character feels unique and has an interesting design.
The art is great as well, you can tell the manga-ka has real passion for large war scenes and individual battles.
dumping random panels i've saved
again with this only nameless npc is wearing helmet shit
S2 was great though
Enjoy it user, I actually caught up on Kingdom the other day and I think I did at a really good time.
It's such a fantastic ride, I can't wait to see how Shin's going to develop.
They did attempt to make a long-running anime franchise, turning everything PG to appeal to a younger audience in the mornings or prime time, but they focused too much on merch and mobile games instead of the actual anime adaptation's quality in writing, directing and animation. So we ended up with a half-assed half-CG garbage that no one ended up liking.
There's a movie being made, or maybe already made, but there isn't really much buzz about it in the country.
...
Im impressed that it's still going, honestly.
Gonna leave this thread before things get spoiled haha but I think it's easily my favorite manga so far
Honestly Kingdom looks like something I'd love if I read it but the fact that it's probably going to take more that ten years to finish is fucking disheartening.
If you've been reading Hunter x Hunter or Berserk, then waiting shouldn't feel like much to you.
/thread
Not to mention, he won't have to wait for years between chapters.
>reading this manga now for the first time
>on fucking mangareader
How about using your brain, newfag?
>Moubou a shit and the reason qin is in the shit situation that it is.
At least it still releases weekly unlike 90% of the faggots from the 80s and 90s that got sick of writing and switched to monthly or sporadic/patternless release schedules a few hundred chapters in so they could coast on their money.
I wouldn't say every character in the enormous cast feels unique and has an interesting design, but the ones that matter and aren't just minor obstacles to be overcome in a few chapters do. Basically, if you need to remember someone more than 20 chapters later they look unique.
The thing I love about kingdom is how it acts so serious for so long and then throws it all out the second fighting starts. Everyone is serious and talking about the battle and then a few panels later you're back to dynasty warriors and people are flying through the air like they just got bombed.
The fucking jumping horses and especially the time bajio’s horse fucking wall-walked on a different horse.
And yet it still manages to find that perfect balance between being serious and campy.
You are simply retarded if you can't figure it out.
Does a releases chart exist? Like the Hiatus X Hiatus one I mean.
I doubt it'd look particularly unusual. Kingdom has been releasing consistently as far as my memory serves, with maybe a missing week here and there. No hiatus disasters
At least for kingdom it doesn't matter as much because if you really want to get some closure on what happened you could just read up on the actual historical events.
So honestly don't deny yourself the oppertunitiy its a great series
These victory scenes where everyone gives out a war cry are always so satisfying it never gets old
the war is over?
