Do you understand what "tsuntsun" means? I guess you could argue that she's a bit of both, but traditionally the archetypes have been pretty clearly distinguished and kuudere has described the seemingly emotionless but not outright mean and grumpy ones.

A Kuudere is a character that behaves coldly towards everyone and hides a warmer side. Tsugumi's main trait is treating the rest of the cast coldly and always trying to distance herself. It's not rocket science dude; the fact that she sometimes gets angry just shows she's not exclusively defined by a single shallow archetype.

Highly dependent on the character. For instance, Kirino is trash, and Kurisu, while generally a good character, has the tsundere aspect shoehorned in. Meanwhile you have Louise whose attitude is actually mostly justifiable by Saito being unable to keep his dick in his pants.

Being tsuntsun - which doesn't primarily refer to seething anger - is a defining trait of the character. You might describe her behavior as "cold", but "kuudere" doesn't normally describe this kind of "cold" behavior, as that would overlap with tsundere. "kuu" comes from "cool", so it makes sense that it's less harsh than "cold" too

The overlap in that both might not initially care much, are too autistic to act on their feelings, or are reluctant to commit quickly?
Seems to me like a kuudere is a lot like a tsun sans the violent and verbally abusive parts, and as such any kuudere that is aggressive somehow actually is a tsundere.

It was just a horrible awful phase. Yeah they still exist but their dominance is over, the duality of the two great archetypes has died down.
The ghost of Rei and Asuka still haunts us, but we are at least free of the curse.
There are so many much better archetype forms and we have such variety now I'm glad to pick up new shows every season knowing there will be plenty of girl types to enjoy.
