I don't dislike the the Jojo anime, I dislike ANIME.

No it's not and only retards think so. None of the anime parts look like the manga. If you go back to the threads for the first few episodes you can see people pointing out problems in how DP formed their artstyle and issues with the character designs. One thing that people kept pointing out was that they failed to implement the varied facial expressions that the manga had.

And DP frequently has issues with mimicking what the manga does. Their sense of pacing is also trash and things here and there are cut out. They probably try to be as close to the manga as possible but they never really get there. I do like some things the anime does more than the manga, mostly stemming from them working with a completed story rather than Araki writing week to week but overall they're two different experiences and the manga for me is overall better.

Also he said he doesn't like anime in general, not just the Jojo anime.

Great post. The scene were Mista pushes Fugo onto Trish's boobs for example falls completely flat in the anime while the manga had them looking genuinely terrified and freaked out.

Keep reading to at least Part 2 but if you're really not feeling it you can drop it. Jojo changes a lot but if you can't appreciate it's roots you might be better off with something else.
