WORST GIRL hates the MC for most of manga (though MC is in love with a fantasy of her), eventually for reasons unknown starts to fall in love with MC though she can see him fawning over a fake of her and she's pretending to be a boy.

In the end, worst girl wins because she accecpts she loves the MC, and instead of fighting for his love like best girl, simply surrenders to become like his imaginary space-ghost thing, submission of her personality to a stepford wife like submissive fantasy in order to become more like the ghost, causing the MC to fall in love with her (despite all the lies) and give up the space ghost.
