Let's just say the story is so shit that even the director expected people to hate it. The animation is also shit. The prriceof smiles was not clear enough.

Killing Bites was way more fun though. It's weird, since they're both adapted by the same studio.

It's probably because the Spec Ops manga is a slog while the KB manga moves pretty quickly.

It's just resentment. Early on some anons convinced themselves the peace princess would turn into Lelouch or Tanya Degurechaff. It is not and never was that kind of story.

To be clear, the show absolutely suffers from pacing issues, structural issues, low production values, and a disappointing ending. However, it's not nearly bad enough to the worst of the season.

The plot is the usual excruciatingly terrible pseudo-intellectual "war is bad, why can't we just all get along?" crap that the Japanese spout every now and then.

I agree with you completely but way to many people enjoy it. The art is not bad and the VAs are delivering. They just adapted a Manga that does not work as an Anime.

I never read the manga but I assume it's the same deal with Neverland. Internal monologues and intrigue are better told through the written word than shown. The narrator in Kaguya just infuriates me for some reason.
