I really enjoyed her arc but I knew Sodachi would be low because she's from a later season and not as many people have seen it.
I'm a little disappointed at how low Yotsugi is though since she's in since Nisemonogatari.

Yotsugi is naturally compared with Shinobu and Hachikuji who massively outclass her. So it's no wonder that she ranks fairly low.

Generally my autism hates it when you don't watch it in its intended order, but in Monogatari's case it rings very true. In my opinion Kizumonogatari is best possible Monogatari story even though I am a Snailfag and my personal favorite one.

I think if I was watching Monogatari as it aired it would've been unbearable to me without Kizu movies, it's like cockteasing of story telling "we will talk about things that concern this thing you don't know about but never explain until we finish movies in fucking 2016". It's weird that there are people who defend this, Cat's arc in Bakemonogatari is nearly incomprehensible without Nekomonogatari Kuro.

Its just Monogatari doesn't have too much exciting stuff going on usually and there's a fuck ton of dialogue. It's hard to care when there's so much going on and everything is mostly dialog. Kizu helps a lot; I think it should either be viewed before Bake or right after. I wouldn't have finished Nise if I didn't watch Kizu.

Same, I was apprehensive but I watched Kizu immediately after Bake. I managed to finish Bake but it rather left me unsatisfied, I really didn't get what is the hook of Monogatari until Kizu.

I don't mind out of order kind of storytelling if it isn't done like a fucking Marvel comic book where you have to buy 12 gazillion other comics to get full story (though, I don't think this comparison is entirely appropriate in Monogatari's case, it's more like I want the story Nisio is telling in this arc to be full in itself, while leave foreshadowing for future stories), I think in his early stories Nisio or at least SHAFT should've acknowledged the fact that they would often talk about shit people would have no idea about for years until next monogatari adaptation. I dunno if it was experimental or something, but thank fuck we don't get anymore foreshadowing for past events.

Most of the other girls are - or at least were - interested in him, and a number of them continue to have romantic interactions well into the series. This rings especially true with novel content and side stories. There's still blatant tension with Bee, for example, and some of the other girls are attached at the hip, if not romantically so.

I got into Monogatari when Nekomonogatari: Kuro was new, so I watched everything in anime release order. It didn't really bother me too much when it made references to past events that hadn't been explained yet, for me that just became a part of the overall unusualness of the show which I enjoyed, and it was incredibly satisfying to see Kizu when it finally came out after the long wait.

It was a below average arc that relied entirely on a plot twist which is specifically what Monogatari isn't good at.

To be honest, best parts of Snake's arcs were always characters besides the snek. Hence the name Hitagi End, people appreciate characters surrounding her arc, rather than her arc, which boils down to bratty kid throwing a tantrum over unrequited love.

Her underlying issues are very well-written, more so than those of any other character other than maybe Hanekawa. The "I'M GONNA KILL EVERYONE" is a matter of the fact that it's a supernatural anime where aberrations fuck people up.

Also, I was referring to Hitagi End, not Nadeko Medusa, although both are 10/10 arcs.

This is always important to keep in mind. By no means is it an excuse for anyone's actions, but certainly the nature of aberrations leads to more extreme scenarios than would normally be possible for - or considered by - the characters involved.

I watched Kuro Neko after Bake and I honestly think I shoulf have skipped it altogether. Everything that happened is what I imagined happening with the 5 second flashbacks we got in Bake but stretched out into two hours of pointlessness.

Nadeko is a perfect case study on how well-written characters who think and act irrationally are despised by autistic losers who only like generic cookie-cutter archetypes. Sayaka is another good example.

There are other things talked about than puns in nise mostly with hachikuji but regardless. There are still many puns gags erotic gags and some good donut going; it characterizes characters in a regular matter that the rest of the series never manages to do (except maybe for the shorts), we are given one normal Sunday actually two i suppose. The first have both the nise books are legitimately my favorites, the latter half's left much to be desired they were terrible but they could've been better.
There isn't even enough consistency between the first two arcs, the rest of bake, and kizu; for nise to be a parody of anything.

It also kinda has pivotal character development moments for both Shinobu and Senjougahara.

This fandom is utter shite. Waifufagging in a show with a wife/girlfriend character, using western name order, only time a thread is over 10 is when they stop doing photo dumps for their character and compete in a poll or new subs are out, any humour is utterly detached from the actual humour of the show no puns no boke/tsukkomi.
