And in regardto character design, they all spin around the character trope they're assigned to but it's all in god's play. For example, check out Tomoyo's ironic display of immense power when she herself is powerless to her faith and fate.

Apparently so, but i didn't look into it too much because it looks garbage from the few pictures I saw. Actual case of soul vs soulless right there.

Game looks old so I'm guessing they messed up the visual aesthetics. Is it any good ? I'll check it out in a month or so

The game is good and a complete labyrinth if you play it blind since it requires something you could call metagaming. I don't want to spoil too much but let's just say it incorporates your typical visual novel routes into its gameplay and fully uses them to construct a singular plot.

OP here. It may be fair to say that VN MC's were Chads more-so in PC98 games. The ones everybody knows like True Love, Divi-Dead, Yu-No (this one), even Paradise Heights feature tons of sex for no real reason other than why not. I guess studio Key games (Clannad, Kanon) were a reaction by downplaying the sexual content greatly

Meanwhile we have Natsuo from Domestic who has sex the first scene but is still a limp-dick for a while
