If Yuusaku is going to be shipped (canonically) to either Miyu, Aoi or any other girl they introduce in S3 he would first need to drop the Playmaker persona and show himself to said girls. The question being, how is he exactly going to do it when SOL is got a bounty on him? I think the writters tied themselves when they implied Yuusaku was akin to a wanted criminal and his security depended on never having his identity revealed. Your pic reminds me. While is right in pointing that there's no real need to show the dueling and torturing of the lost children, they should totally show how they were captured in the first place. I think the episodes were Kusanagi explained to Homura how he and Yusaku met was the perfect chance to show how Jin dissapeared at least. Jin and Miyu will have to show flashbacks to the moment of their kidnapings I hope.

I agree with this, there's so many things I wanna know. The order they were captured in, how did Kogami plan the whole deal, where were the kids staying etc. Kogami got away with it for 6 months, six missing kids from the same area around the same time definitely would've drawn attention.
That said, even if the show doesn't give much details, I guess I'd be okay with it. The subject matter is already dark enough as it is, and this is a kids show.

The fusion dimension was where the writers dropped any hint of subtext and flat out tried to give as many middle fingers to the watchers and their bosses as possible, it just all fell apart as the director of the project completely fucked off only coming back to demand his favorite archetype get an arc, the head duel writer just completely stopped caring and the writers were completely cut off from each other, the saddest thing about how Arc-V turnedo ut is how excited the VAs were going in and how drained and lifeless they were by the end of it. Yuto and Yugo's VAs flat out quit the industry because of it, Ono's whole excuse for the entire thing was "eh, that's a difficult question" his twitter was flamed for close to a year following Arc-V's finale with his only quote being "So...there's still a grudge,huh" I think the most insulting thing about that was fucking over Aster just to make him play a homage to 5D's in a monster that flat out cost him the duel to the synchroist who by that time had only been defeated by his girlfriend which they told us she always beat him anyway. People hate Ono so much just seeing his name in the second ending credits of Vrains made people angry, mainly because his name pops up around the time the word "Synchro" in big letters is spray painted on the tunnel.
Long story short, fuck Ono, fuck the writers and fuck the duel writer. I don't know why Symphongearfags aren't scared of him with the show coming back for another season again, do they like Hibiki constantly going through her daddy issues over and over again because guys like Ono refuse to give her any other plot? Or do they not care at all so long as Aoi Yuuki keeps screaming hot blooded screams that'd make Soulburner proud?

What other purpose does he really serve in the plot? He still concocts mad schemes so he can duel one guy again. Any rival can have an ambition to beat the MC. I just don’t buy it with Go that he’ll go as far as tampering with his own body and accepting some foreign power to win. Nothing really gave me the impression he was that far off the deep end. You can see Kaiba doing something like that because it’s established from day 1 he’s a nutcase. Not Go. He was just a normal guy who was famous for being a good duelist then loses to some nobody and gets pissy about it. I don’t even think he was the best duelist before he met Yusaku so he should have been used to not being the best.
