Call me a zoomer, but I watched it for the first time 2 years ago and I could barely watch it, the pacing was atrocious, Vash was really unlikeable for me, and his pacifist personality really annoyed the shit out of me. Wolfwood was great though. But the animation was subpar, and the music wasn't anything memorable. It might have been good a long time ago, but it was pretty average in my opinion. 5/10.

Don't worry, the best way to enjoy the anime is watching the first episodes as a kid or watching the fun filler ones dubbed after reading the manga.
But I loved the music.

The beginning was average but the ending was great. All the great moments of the show was at the ending making viewers retroactively forgive the slow start. Around the mid point is when I say the show comes onto its own because we start getting more development of the characters and that leads to great pay off in the end. Beginning is pretty bland and forgettable.

I can't imagine calling Samurai Champloo's soundtrack bad. Trigun's ost wasn't that great, you're confusing the OP with ost. Zankyou no Terror has a great ost.

I like the beginning much more than the ending though.
The whole angel arm thing was dumb and I could not care less about his conflict with his one dimensional mustache-twirling-tier villain brother.
Some of the Gung-Ho Guns were cool.

To be fair, saying one is better than the other when it's two completely different genres is peak subjectivity.
