dahlia did nothing wrong
She nearly killed a man who actually did nothing wrong with poison so no.
But she didn't kill him. And that's what she did wrong. Imagine T&T without Godot.
...On second thought, I don't see how they'd solve 3-3 without Godot.
Wait, he did the exercising?
This episode is triggering all my fetishes and I am not even done yet.
Was that creepy closeup of Dahlia's face part of your fetishes?
Everything related to Dahlia triggers my fetishes.
Phoenix is more like asspulls and bluffing.
Welcome to Ace Attorney
This is kinda hot
If I pull her braids off, would she die?
Subs when
Erai. Burger sub never hopefully.
Creepy shit.
Well she's already dead so...
What a tweest.
What a rack.
Maximum rekt.
Infinite cleavage.
The beatdown never stops.
Holy crap.
good morning Yea Forums, how are you
My dick
Take good care of your dick.
Wonder how much of the episode's budget went into animating this
>Last episode of S2 next week
>S3 won't happen until at least next year assuming there is going to be one since the timeslot is already booked by Mix and BnHA S3
RIP.
I love how when shit gets serious the peanut gallery becomes 2D. If it was a smarter show they should've done a gag about it.
Yeah. This episode's Dahlia, including those pretty faces above, looks best of all episodes she is in.
S3 is all but confirmed desu. Shu Takumi states time and time again that TV ratings are very important and it consistently beats out Gegege no Kitarou TV household ratings wise.
Everyone place bets.
What are the odds of next episode featuring flashbacks of Phoenix dating you know who in college?
>followed by Yuki Kaji's signature autistic cry
youtube.com
I hope so
Nice episode.
There is no bet. It will, 100%.
Doubt it. They got 20 minutes to cover the entire final part of the trial plus ending. I assume they're gonna trim down Maya's testimony as well; even in the game they dragged out the "Maya covers for Godot" thing too much.
They manage to wrap Dahlia's case down within the first half of the episode. I think they can do it.
That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.
I want to see Dahlia RRREEE, maybe I should watch this.
That's the point.
That sounds pefrectly reaasonable given the time between this and season 1
At least, have Rise from the Ashes OVA/movie/TV special during the wait and it should be fine by us fans.
I hope you don't think you're making a unique observation.
Don't stick your dick in crazy or you'll just kill yourself on the witness stand.
never.
King Crimson?
This episode really knocked it out of the park with the facial expressions.
I think this is probably the only case worth watching (maybe for violetta if you really like her), from the anime.
cute
little creepy.
Don't trust anyone I guess.
where are my burger subs, it feels too weird watching it with ramen subs
These subs aren't very japanese either.
Iris is willing to trust her evil twin anyway though. Too much mercy.
AJ cannot be adaptated without doing Rise from the Ashes first, and they also need to find a way to introduce the psychelocks somehow, though I guess they could go without them but the entire Kristoph situation woulld just feel really weak. Also a reminder that the anime aired on the year it was supposed to happen, so expect AJ for 2026, meanwhile we might get Investigations!
I guess they can always fill RftA with a TV special episode ala what they have done with Detective Conan in between seasons.
Also, since they manage to adapt out psychlocks this season, I can't see why they won't do it again and find other ways to patch plot holes in AJ.
When's the AAI2 anime
>watching an edgeworth anime
I wouldn't.
>not BASIC LOGIC
They'll probably skip the OP and use a credit text scrawl on top of the final moments instead of an ED. The extra time shoul really help out.
He's too stuffy.
I think this is my favourite Edgeworth quote, Phoenix is the real villain of the series.
>Phoenix is the real villain of the series.
>the man that saves little girls and get hags arrested
>villain
No.
He isn't a bad straight man in Investigation games, where he is paired with likes of Gumshoe, Kay or Ray.
Heck, he was more entertaining MC in his episodes than Phoenix was during the following investigation.
>Imagine T&T without Godot
>Removing a fantastic prosecutor that is one of the reasons why T&T is so great
Yeah, I can imagine it, and it's shit.
An AAI2 anime would give us the best villain in the series though.
AAI2 is de beste game!
I agree, and that's why I prefer him now as a protag over PW after playing Investigations. He is very stuff, and that's why he's so good with almost every other character in the series. He's fun like that.
They didn't hold on her ghost as long as they should have.
B R E A S T LAWYER
It's not enough to contain it.
Why contain it? 'S cool
>this can't be wright
They'd already blown the budget on that closeup
I love the games so so much. Is this adaptation worth it?
It's alright if you want to replay the games without actually playing them. Filler episodes are pretty fun.
If you're a big AA fan, you'll most likely enjoy seeing the characters and their antics animated; there's only two points where I would go out and say they dropped the ball while adapting (both in Season 1). But be aware that this anime is sorta like watching a speedrun of the games, they cut corners and streamline the case quite a bit.
Complainfags will tell you this adaptation's shit but you should watch it yourself and make up your mind - I personally enjoyed it a lot
>how the fuck is this guy shooting wind beams with his finger
>I want some of the prosecutor's coffee too
>why is her breasts so big
>what the hell is this channeling mumbo jumbo they are talking about
>I should have stayed home
>my face hurts
LET THE VOICE OF LOVE
It's a very meh adaptation, but it will always be impossible to be 100% faithful to the games.
The first season has a lot of QUALITY moments where the animation is shit and some cases were very rushed, with characters being ommitted and Larry taking over their role. However, their strongest case was actually Turnabout Big Top, they really improved A LOT on the circus.
Season 2 was an improvement, especially when they started the Dahlia arc in Trials and Tribulations. The VA they got for Dahlia and Iris is superb and has a lot of range.
It's an alright time killer.
>not “al-wright”
More like al-trite.
Nice identical twins.
An Investigations anime would be a dream come true so I hope they go this way
He's better mc than fuking Phoenix and Apollo who was even more beta. I was glad to be the handsome smart badass for once.
Too bad they cut the whole "Edgeworth was sperging out allowing the switch up to happen".
I don't think he was talking about Blaise
They sorta had to, I don't think earthquake trauma is very funny in Japan post-Fukushima
I think it's more time constraints than anything else. They'd have to remind people of the von Karma case from last season with some flashbacks, even including the fact that it did happen that way. It'd need at least 2 more minutes minimum.
GIVE YOU ANSWERS~~
For anyone who has interest, Yea Forums has a server where people play a multiplayer version of Ace Attorney where you can face other anons on all roles otherwise taken by AI in the default games (prosecution, judge, etc)
s3.wasabisys.com
Server name is "Attorney Online Vidya"
You mean Layton vs Ace Attorney spin off
That sounds like it could be feasible.
The final case for T&T is worth it. and the 2nd season is not half-bad.
I dropped the 1st season.
t. Edgeworth
Takumi literally said that was the reason you idiot
Phoenix is alpha wtf
This shit always gets me
What is a man
I think he's been stuffier in the anime than in the games. I remember him being more emotive.
Thats the power of Misaka's voice acting
Edgeworth anime would work much better than Phoenix's because Edgeworth's cases are almost structured identical to Detective Conan. He doesn't need to teleport to courtroom for 10 minutes after 10 minutes of evidence gathering, all the smackdown happens in the crime scene.
>Still no burger subs for this episode on CR
RIP.
But how would that fix the fact that it's based around edge worth?
That's because they cut off most of his gay emo interacts with Phoenix
Woah, somebody woke up the sleepwalking animators.
nice side profiles.
I don't think that's it.
No alfa man would raise another's child
But he used her to cheat at card games. That's a pretty neat set up.
So he could give her rooft and bread. Unless she have made him rich, that's not an excuse.
You can sweat the small things when you're planning your vengeful justice.
She made this face with Maya's body
Not that impressive.
God is this what the AA anime looks like?
Fucking hideous.
>>Basic logic loses againts cheap drama and BLUFF
Really makes you think
I want hobo Phoenix to have his own show tbqh.
It was worst back in season 1
He didn't do a lot of litigation though.
Okay, a series of him trolling Apollo then.
Any alfa man would raise a child that's as cute as Trucy.
That was just the game.
I hope the anime ends with the introduction of Trucy, now that would be epic, remember that Phoenix last trial happens just a few months after this case.
Why did they skip showing her fabulous thighs when she entered the court tho
>Almost 16 hours since the episode is out on CR but still no burger subs
RIP in pieces.
Hey be grateful. Up to a few weeks ago It used to take them a week to get burger subs out.
What's that? I thought I was in a different thread? No, surely not because otherwise I'd be retarded.
Ramen subs is superior anyway.
Also, you can just wait for burger dubs soon.
Yuki Kaji doing Yuki Kaji thing.
small bombs.
It's very subdued in this anime actually.
no way after this season's opening case.
>Godot
>fantastic prosecutor
Well memed, my friend.
They didn't even include Edgeworth's phobia in the DL-6 episodes, so they couldn't make it a thing now.
What's the deal with violetta anyways?
She is the granddaughter of the most powerful mafia boss in Japanifornia.
She's the daughter of a mob boss.
Tigre gets in an accident causing her to be hospitalized.
The mob boss forces el tigre to pay for her medical bills.
Tigre is forced to be nice to her and she takes it as a sign of affection.
She has a creepy laugh but the anime made her laugh awkward and dorky.
>has a creepy laugh but the anime made her laugh awkward and dorky
CUTE!
She likes to kill.
They are going to do it for real bros next episode
>Two more hours has passed but still no burger subs for this episode on CR
I wonder what's causing the held up.
I doubt any of this shit can pass in an actual court
I love her
>Still no burger subs on CR despite it's almost 23 hours
I already got Erai but I actually thought HS bot is broken at first.
WHY ARE THERE NO HORRIBLE SUBS FOR EPISODE 22?
I CAN'T FUCKING WATCH IT WITH THE WEABOO SUBS
So how Dahlia was supposed to pin the blame on Iris if Pearl channeled her as planned? Hair color doesn't change when channeling, so their hair color wouldn't match.
Dahlia isn't exactly known to be very smart despite what Iris says.
She's good at manipulating others, that's all.
clever setup.
Dahlia covered herself in Iris's hood, so her hair would have stayed hidden.
The plan was evil and flawless by itself, both of them were just too retarded to not assume Godot would be listening in.
t. Payne
Just imagine the puns.
Honestly, whitewashing Iris' action during the case? Nothing can surprise me in this shitty series anymore.
Literally the only good thing about the two seasons of trash that we got is Maya.
>I have a witness who has literally been put to death and has seen the other side, but I'm only going to entertain direct questions about the matter at hand
What a pro.
She's still going away for it so who cares.
I'm pretty sure Payne relies on those too.
>Burger subs for this episode is still unavailable on CR even after 1 day has passed so no HS release for now
Good thing I'm not paying for this.
They botch it from time to time.
Iris or Dahlia?
Only real men go for Bikini
No I meant which one is that poster talking about, they're identical.
We'll get to see Godot's "tears" now?
It hasn't taken more than 1 day for CR to put burger subs this season aside of this episode. I wonder if the person which usually does it is currently MIA or something.
I bet they'll give phoenix an original closing speech.
They don't need to, first game isn't really Edgeworth's story since he has no particular arc in it, it was all about Kay and Yatagarasu. In second game there is an overlapping theme regarding Greg, but it's far from most important story in the game. It's just ok, even though it boiled down to
>I enjoyed prosecuting
>I've decided to keep enjoying prosecuting
>I will keep prosecuting in the future
Despite appearing as less of a self-insert than Phoenix, Edgeworth is ironically much more reliant on other characters in his own games.
Is Phoenix Ben?
>a fantastic prosecutor that is one of the reasons why T&T is so great
I unironically believe this and I don't give a fuck. Franzeska was the worst, having Edgelord in every game would be dumb, and apollo justice is an alternative universe-themed sequel of the series, which actually consists of the original trilogy alone. Anything after that is shit.
Who's ben?
Next episode, very likely.
I wonder if they'll make the mask look busted.
Seeing how powerful Phoenix's pointy finger has been so much so that it can exorcise an evil spirit back to nothingness, I bet he will point it so strongly the mask breaks.
Well it explodes in the game but still looks fine a couple seconds later.
She was my waifu for some reason back when I played the games originally
always hoped she'd cameo again to spook Phoenix or something down the line
>Unless she have made him rich
Apparently she pretty much pays the bills for him now since Phoenix is now bad with money (before it was just supposed to be that being a defense attorney paid jackshit but now that he's some sort of legal celebrity that reasoning doesn't hold up anymore) if that means anything.
EXTRA
TERRITORIAL
RIGHTS
That detective should have acted earlier.
Is it because she's vulnerable?
Why would she give a shit about pinning the blame on anyone? Maya would be dead and that would be all that mattered to her.
Plus it's night and very dark, all people would see is an identical silhouette.
They explained it with the hood anyway.
