Because MC was even worse. She might be crazy, but MC was so painfully boring that the only way to watch or read this series was waiting for crazy yandere to do something. There's a reason she's still remembered while 99% of the people would have troubles recalling anything about the MC. I'm not even sure if his name was Yuki.

What I love about yanderes is how you can put them in situations like that and get comedy. I would like a story about some super tough guy that's stalked by a yandere and constantly brushes off her violence as pranks, while everybody else is scared shitless.
