one thing that shaman king really had going for it was that the supporting cast never got left behind no matter how powerful yoh got or how many new characters got introduced they always stayed relevant.
it also had some great character designs and well thought out power system.
Pretty great.
Got kinda nihilistic towards the end, and the pacing of the last few arcs kinda goes to hell (though that's somewhat justified by cancellation it went through befor being picked up again)
But overall, it's still one of my favorites. Matamune's arc still makes me sad
That art makes me realize, those are really fucking short teenagers. Assuming that Faust is about average adult size, they are really short for 14-15 year olds.
shallow af.
I dunno, I'd say it's kinda deep for a shonen manga.
the artist just has a very exaggerated style, manta is the only one considered short in universe.
Well Ren too
It was generic garbage
Good until volume 17 or so when the powerlevel bullshit kicks into high gear
The manga is one of the best of all time.
The anime was average at best but had a great cast and great music.
It was phenomenal.
Neck yourself Bleachfag.
Wrong, it was great for the whole ride.
Only bad shit are the unneeded sequels like Flowers.
>without the KZB ending
7/10
>with KZB ending and extra chapters
9/10
Actually it's more like 8.5 w/o KZB and 9.6 with KZB.
If we include Flowers and the new sequel it drops the rating to just 8/10 however so let's not do that...
YOMIGAEREEEE!!!

>Not LOOK AROUND YOU LOOK BEYOND
Not the guy you answered to, but come on man. Powerlevel shit kinda killed the series. It was cool having upgrades and stuff to the Oversoul or whatever, but when it became "when you die you become stronger, here have a gazillion furyoku for free I'll rez you afterwards np" it became really shitty and most tension just disappeared because it was just Yoh and Hao one-shotting everything while the rest of the crew strutted around for fun and the occasional cool fight.
Not to mention, Hao was a pretty cool villain but the axed ending made him look like a joke. That was fixed afterwards so no biggie, but damn, the end of the manga was incredibly bad.
It was pretty great during gen III when it was introduced and borderline OP during gen IV because of the expanded moveset, but during gen V it fell off hard during weather wars and then never recovered
Hao sama please fuck my wife
Last two arcs were pretty bad.
He tried that and got blown out.
LA RESUUUUUUUUURREEEEEEEEEECCIOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
It was really great, manga is still the better choice though
It should have the Brotherhood treatment
If only Hiroyuki were not such a fag or if the studio just heard his demands
Probably the greatest dub opening of all time
pretty good
The early parts were fantastic in my opinion
Shaman King was good but it had two major flaws: power levels got really ridiculous and the author kept trying to justify all the bad things Hao did.
I would but our wife keeps saying how you are bigger in bed.
First half was good. Even the latter parts still had some good moments. Though the dying repeatedly to raise your power level was very jarring.
