I'm trying to get through it now and it's so fucking boring. Super is shit too but there's a lot I find entertaining about it and it still has Toriyama's charm.
Obviously it looks consistently better visually so I'll give it that, but the horrible character designs aren't doing it any favors.

SS4 is more fitting with both the saiyan heritage as well as the evolution of transformations. SS3 had longer hair and a different face structure. SS4 looks like it naturally progresses from that.
Much better than simply changing the hair color and making the character look no different than a regular super saiyan. Or in super saiyan god's case a slightly tweaked kaio ken.

Anyone who grew up watching DBZ in middle school loved the shit out of the GT designs.
We also grew up being told it was the single largest disgrace to the medium and let that reputation damn it for the next two decades.
It's not great. It's hardly even good. But man, it beats the hell out of any random episode I've watched of Super.
