It's literally all out of focus and far away. It's trying to be artistic and mysterious, but all that does is rob the audience of being able to see their interaction up close. Again, the series was about Yuuko and Teiichi spending time together. The series needed to end with them talking, not merely getting together.

As I said, I was prepared for a bittersweet ending since chapter 1 since she dead and all but that ended up not happening ... maybe it was the whole "she is dead and she needs to move on", honestly the manga had some pacing issues and some stuff was kinda just dropped in, especially how she died that seem to me to be something that they author come up at the last second when that started and not something planned from the start.

Sure its a "good ending" but I think the story should been better planned.
