Because it's much cheaper to go from prototype to 3D model and then directly to production rather than having that extremely expensive and time consuming mold tooling and prototyping phase in the middle. That allows them to offer their services to a much wider range of potential clients that want their characters to become figures because it's not so prohibitively expensive to start production. I just like Luna's design. Both of their content are mostly trash with some slightly amusing bits here and there. Biggest problem, as any YT channel like them, is the forced reactions/jokes into almost all of their bits. Ai's content is pretty indistinguishable from episode to episode, and Luna just spouts memes and yells into the wind mostly.
